“This place has an amazingly diverse wide-ranging menu. So my review is just for the superb Saigon Crepe which is one of the two specialties listed on their menu. It showed tremendous preparation skills with high quality ingredients, and all SO fresh and delicious. The ambience, a former Denny's but upgraded, is nice and the service super attentive and timely.“

“Vpho is a fantastic place to enjoy delicious pho and more! They recently remodeled, and it looks really nice inside—modern and inviting. One thing that sets Vpho apart is that they don't cram their tables together like some other Asian restaurants, so you have plenty of space to relax and enjoy your meal. Plus, there's lots of parking available, which makes getting there easy. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, which adds to the pleasant dining experience. I tried the Chicken Wing with mild spicy sauce, and it was surprisingly good—tender and flavorful. The Beef Bone Pho was outstanding; the meat practically fell off the bone, and the soup was warm and yummy—perfect for a chilly day. Although I didn't try it this time, they have a cocktail menu, which sounds intriguing for my next visit. The restroom is nicely remodeled, but it could be cleaner, which is something they might want to improve. “If I’m in the mood for Pho or a Banh mi, this is the first place I head to. The broth of the pho is rich, flavorful and has clearly been simmering for hours. The Banh mi are made with the correct crunchy French bread, giving you a real substantial sandwich to wrap your lips around. The vegetables are always super fresh and crunchy too.“

“I went to pick up some food for an elderly resident and the staff were so wonderful. Not only was the food prepared quickly but as I waited, they brought me tea, which was delicious.
They then made sure that my “to go” order was packaged properly for easy transport.

“I’ve been looking for a good local bánh mì shop near me for a while. Happy to say that the food here didn’t disappoint. The baguette was fresh, crunchy, and very large. The curry chicken was very good, and the pickled sides were fresh and crunchy.

I also had a Vietnamese drip coffee, and it was well mixed with an excellent ratio of milk to coffee.“

“So the first time I went in Nov, found out that they only serve it with 1 egg instead of 2 that’s advertised. Still a lot of food for $20. Mine was really oily compared with my hubby’s, so I wasn’t able to clean my plate off with the bread. Came Dec on a Fri at 1p am they were closed! So bummed!! Craving for it all weekend so came back on Monday and had to wait a while bc they ran out of bread and had to go out to get more. Then found out afterwards that they substituted my xu mai for a piece of spam!! Oh well. Still yummy. Gave them one less star for the inconsistency. You order at the counter and they give you buzzer to come back in 10-15 mins to pick up. Not much of a customer service, 1 lady and 1 man working, since they are so busy cooking it fresh to order hot and sizzling for the cold food court, lol. They had Viet music when we arrived (which are the best), Noticed there were older folks running the place, bussing tables and taking orders along with serving the tables. If I had to guess this place may have been here for a bit. Maybe thats why its busy the time we stopped by. The food was medium bold, but the bowl was a bit smaller than what im used to. The priced average with every pho place out there. Plenty of veg to add to the bowl and was nice and clean from what I observed. Would I come back? Yes, no doubt. Would I recommend yes. Why the 4 stars again medium bold taste with smaller size pho bowl than usual. But worth to discover and add it to your list of go to's. BTW many other dishes were offered. Some come try it out and fill this place up, REGULARLY.“

Got the house special selection large size and it came out really fast. Comes with all the ingredients you would expect from an excellent pho. There were a lot of noodles in there and the broth was super tasty! The beef was also quite enjoyable. I would definitely come back to eat more pho.

Tucked away in an unassuming plaza in San Jose, this place is small but always busy and for good reason.

This no frills spot is basically a grab and go. The service is fast and efficient but don't expect an amazing atmosphere and sit down vibes. This is not what the spot is about.

Their house made tofu is amazing. The silken tofu is sooooo silky. The fried tofu is crispy on the outside and custardy on the inside. Don't forget to grab soy milk, as well.

“This is my favorite restaurant from the bay. I have been going consistently since discovered a few years ago. I go anytime I want to show friends from out a town the best viet food. My favorites are banh uot thit nuong, banh xeo, banh khot, banh bot luc. The owner, Annie, is unbelievably sweet. I would gatekeep this place but it is too good not to share.

Seating is a bit hard to find, so I’d recommend one person order and one person look for seats. Cheaper if you pay in cash and there is an atm. Always tip the busses who clean the tables if you can! They are also very sweet.“

“First of all this place is known for their fried fish patties made with 100% fresh fish that meat are taken deboned and made into patties with fresh dill onion and a few other seasonings very tasty you can add this patties sliced up into your favorite ramen or any noodle like udon and make it taste fantastic. Another specialty are their meaty mushroomy and peppery egg rolls very close to the original recipes if not, the one. They are freshly fried to golden perfection and at only $1.50 each they are a must grab but be careful because they are always piping hot and ready to go I usually get 5 at leasts just for myself and a Vietnamese style sandwich which tasted very good compare to other places. The pate is on point. You can taste the wine that goes into it very good French recipe. They also have reasonable party trays that’ll fit any pot luck or parties. They are a Togo only store without seatings of any kind. And they take cash only so if you make it out there don’t forget your Andrew your Hamilton and your grant because their prices haven’t change much since before the inflation so most time you wouldn’t need to bring your Benjamin’s enjoy.“

“Tucked away on a small street, but wow Pho Garlic San Jose is a true hidden gem. Their specialty pho is incredible. The broth is rich, aromatic, and comforting, and the meat is tender without being chewy or too soft. The popcorn chicken is perfectly crispy with a light batter, not greasy at all. Every bite was satisfying. Parking is available in the lot behind the restaurant, which makes it very convenient. Definitely one of the best places for pho in the area. We’ll be back!“

“A pretty solid pho restaurant in the area. The building is pretty unique, that's all on its own area in a plaza and it looks like a lot prettier prior to a renovation of some kind. It looks that they deleted off some of the walls and redid some of the seating and the colors of a little more muted too. At least there's a gumball machine. Speaking of which, they have an extensive menu with a lot of pho and rice dishes and even some sandwiches and even milk tea! I had to shaken beef and it came with some french fries that were crinkle cut and was not too bad! It was a little chewy even with the meat but it's okay, at least the onions and bell peppers wernt raw or anything else. I absolutely love their spring rolls! It's got the normal feelings like the noodles and the bean sprouts and the shrimp and chicken, but they also put a Chinese donut stick inside too! That made it a little crunchy and I really liked that! The price was also pretty good for the quantity that you received, which wasn't the same that I could say the same for every other dish here at $6. The shaken beef was $17... They also had a milk tea for $6. All of this was pretty easy to order and because there wasn't a lot of people today on a weekday service was really fast and easy. Payment is also easy too as you get up from your table to pay as well as obtain any takeout boxes as needed.“

To the food! Man the #1 was honestly as good or little better than nam vang. I did it with broth today since my body needed some thing soupy from the weekend. Meat was very tender, soupy was cleansing my soul, and a lot of flavor from the dried shrimp and ground pork. Chinese donut was fresh it felt like. Only thing the meatball was not sticking together as much as I like (I like Nam vang meatballs better)

Glad I have this place a shot. Probably will go here again soon to try the non broth one.

Also heard it could be same family as owner of Nam Van, which would make sense.

The grilled pork was seasoned most heavy but it's balanced out with the bun. The shrimp is just grilled without much seasoning which was fine by me but can see others wanting more seasoning (maybe a glaze of fish sauce at the end would be great).

I walked over from Valley Medical for a late lunch (3:30p) between regular meal hours and glad that they are open and has clean interior. They also offer some thai food, smoothie/milk tea, and Banh mi ($12.50)“
