“Couldn’t be more happy about my experience today. The staff were very kind and helpful and the food was beyond fulfilling. Nothing cheers me up more than ramen and Kai took it that much higher. Something about the tonkotsu in addition to the charsiu pork absolutely reigned based on my memory of LA selections. “Haven’t been here in a while and saw that they were closed before I came and now they’re open. I tried their soft opening and wow, what a difference the Ramen is now. They have a Japanese chef now as well. It’s the same good taste, but it’s on another level especially the pork they’re making it fresh now they told me because it’s very big difference and they’re gonna do that daily. Honestly, if it’s this tasty again and they keep doing it like this I’m gonna come back more often. Also order the Giza that was even better than before, but the girls was pretty good before but it just even better now. The curry rice I also got that tasted exactly the same so no changes there. Definitely try the pork and see for yourself you’re gonna be shocked how good it’s now.“

“A very comfortable spot for a cold California day. Business bustles in the winter and slows in the summer, the food is always hot and fresh. A top 10 spot in The Valley for anyone near the CSUN area that offers affordable prices per serving size, and easily missed by many.“

Amazing and purposeful service by Sarah, Kate, and Mona. Friendly, heartwarming, and attentive — they truly made the experience feel special. They all deserve a holiday pay raise and recognition for their great work. The owner/chef Toshiro adds a level of authenticity that makes the meal feel real, warm, and crafted with care. “We were greeted by Aaron as soon as we walked in and seated right away. I ordered the Level 3 ramen with gyoza, and once again, this place did not disappoint. The ramen was flavorful, comforting, and had the perfect amount of spice.
My daughter wasn’t feeling well and wanted something warm, so we ordered the signature ramen broth with noodles for her. After eating it, she said she instantly felt better.
We’ve been coming here for years because the food is consistently delicious and the service is always welcoming. We’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!“

“Good ramen place tucked away in a plaza with ample parking. Their ramen is pretty good but costly as the base price doesn't include your main protein and additional toppings that are typically standard in most ramen places. It doesn't come with a lot of broth and it's $7 to refill. It wasn't crowded and almost empty when we went there for dinner, but felt rushed to leave.“

“This is the best sushi in Simi Valley. Our family eats here once a week and the service and food are always on point. The ingredients, sauces and fish are quality and fresh. The rolls are consistent. I order the same roll and it's perfect every time. The chef's are very nice and welcoming. The servers and bus staff are very sweet and happy to see you. They know our orders now!! Also, the hot green tea is wonderful. I have to add that I really like the music they play in the restaurant. This is a nice gem of a restaurant in Simi.“

“My wife and I love sushi. We enjoy Katsuya and Nobu and many other fine establishments. We stopped going to these places (at a risk of sounding old) because of the the noise, the attitude, the kids screaming and have discovered this amazing gem in Encino - walking distance from our home.

One of us got broken up with? Silverlake is there for us, and it makes all the pain go away. Celebrating a test grade? Silverlake here we come, and suddenly that test grade feels 10x better than it did before that delectable soboro bowl. But honestly, we needed no specific occasion for a trip to silverlake. The food transports me every. Single. Time. My friend just moved away to college yesterday. So instead of going in, I ordered silverlake for delivery for the first time. And truthfully, I was nervous, I ordered the classic ramen. And I now realize how foolish I was to doubt the greatest restaurant on earth. Currently in my kitchen, with my friend away at school, feeling company enough with the most magnificently delicious bowl of food ive ever had, yet again.“
