“Just happened on this place by doing map search for restaurants while in Watsonville. It was magical! Beautiful buildings & gardens. We are on the heated patio & just loved it. Excellent food: ribeye, & steak & lobster. Delish wedge salad too. Took the dessert home & enjoyed that too; the accompanying ice cream was the best. Very lovely experience.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Trestles. Hostess Blixha was friendly, sweet and helpful. Server Kimber was amazing - describing the food choices, Making suggestions based on our questions and paced the selections perfectly. She kept her professionalism even as one table was a bit obnoxious. A small space, indoors can be a little stuffy and loud. Four of us ate family style and the dishes were fabulous from the local oysters, fried green tomatoes, spring pea salad, halibut and the special, chicken salad… very very good!“

“Great owners and staff. The food is so good. They have authentic dishes from the kitchen like agadashi tofu, curry, udon, gyoza, etc. Miyako’s fish is fresh, they get new shipments every few days. Hands down, our favorite Japanese spot in the Santa Cruz area. Enjoy.“

“Dinner was absolutely delicious Chef Jeff ... Never disappoints one of the best dinning experiences in Santa Cruz . Sam can also make a delicious drink too🌼 the desert was delicious as well Wow just Wow !! The olives and roasted garlic for starters were a delightful burst of delight too! We go each week for either dinner , lunch or brunch always amazing and something new on the menu each time ! The staff are all wonderful too! A great evening to a long week ! “I recently got to visit chunks sandwiches for the first time since they redid the menu, and it does not disappoint. I ordered the turkey bacon and pesto sandwich, the Drayton, and the Reuben, and all three of them were delicious. The bread is soft, and the ingredients are high quality and delicious. The clam chowder is also really solid, and was a great side. The food came out piping hot, and the service was beyond kind. This is my favorite sandwich I’ve had in Santa Cruz, and is my new go to!

“My boyfriend and I love this place! There's a lot of gluten free options but so far, I've only tried the crepes because they're so good! Plus, my boyfriend loves their burger, and whichever omelet he tried the first time we went here

“We have eaten here every time we visit Capitola. I have been meaning to give an awesome review. I started out just loving there Thai tea and Tom Kah soup . Now we have tried several other dishes and all have been WONDERFUL! I love the rebutles to the bad reviews posted. They always make me laugh!“

“We usually frequent Santa Cruz so this was our first time stopping in Capitola, glad we popped in before hitting the beach. Service was great, server was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and wines were delicious. Very nice way to pass an hour in the early afternoon waiting for the heat to turn up.“

“Had lunch with a friend here, we both had s couple of tacos. They were good, great flavor. Not greasy, the toppings were fresh and the salsa was spicy. There was no wait at 4pm, we were able to find a place to sit inside. The man who took the order was friendly and offered us chips and salsa while we waited for our food.“

“Thankful we don’t always have to go to San Jose for good and diverse food!! I ordered this today, 7/8/24 and everything is delicious!!!! Not only that the service was amazing even for takeout. I ordered the Tom Yum Shrimp with extra ramen and sea salt edamame! Ordered online, it was hot and fresh :) very cool and great energy to see the owners and employees all working together. Parking: It is on the beach, it is possible to get lucky and find a nearby spot, but I usually park a few streets down.“

“Best Chinese food in the SCZ county. I’ve been eating here for 20+ years and I’m never disappointed. Quick service and hot, consistent food. Unusually get the ginger scallion fish which is fantastic. Shrimp chowmein is also excellent. It’s all excellent! My regular place!“
