“This is hands down the best vegetarian pizza I’ve ever had. Yes Pizza my Heart is great but Village Host has bubbly crunchy crust and the pieces are weighed down and soggy like PMH. The bottom is still hard holding up the Vege covered pizza! I’m obsessed w them. Little pricey but worth it as a treat. Cheese is great too! Always polite and cool people working too. More people need to know about them!“

“I was looking for a quick bite since I work near by. The two gentleman behind the counter were very friendly. I went with the breakfast burrito, it was so good! Full of flavor and I got it with bacon. It had fresh onion and tomatoes and potatoes. It was a bit on the small side but definitely delicious, will definitely be going back to try more“

“Dinner was absolutely delicious Chef Jeff ... Never disappoints one of the best dinning experiences in Santa Cruz . Sam can also make a delicious drink too🌼 the desert was delicious as well Wow just Wow !! The olives and roasted garlic for starters were a delightful burst of delight too! We go each week for either dinner , lunch or brunch always amazing and something new on the menu each time ! The staff are all wonderful too! A great evening to a long week ! “Stop by for the convenient storefront, come back again and again for the top tier sashimi and understated but excellent hospitality. All our rolls and nigiri were mmmmmmm good. I have not been to Japan, but my companion has. Our meal was competitive on flavor and quality, and right here in Capitola. You know how miso soup can be a forgettable way to wait for your meal? Not here. Subtle and flavorful, make sure you enjoy some along with a memorable taste of Japan.“

“I came here on a sunny day in January around 12.30ish.
I ordered at the counter and tried to look for a table - but didn't find any - so got takeout
As soon as I was done I saw a table empty out - and I took that one.
The staff was kind enough to accomodate the change.
The patio view is superb and the tacos 💯
I got the chips and guac - guac was fresh, and had the creamy feel of the avocado and the salsas were spicy and tangy , the chips were crispy and the little sprinkle of salt made all the difference
The fish taco has fried fish and the taco was a great crunchy one with the spicy and crispy feels
The shrimp taco is a little warm taco with grilled shrimp and a little mellow sauces .

“Fantastic vegan pad thai, the chef put a lot of time into perfecting a balanced and thoughtful pad thai sauce. They’re also very careful with cross contamination which we really appreciate. “El Toro Bravo was closed for 391 days following a Christmas Day gas explosion, that destroyed the apartment attached to the back of the restaurant. Luckily no one was seriously hurt!
We are so blessed to have El Toro Bravo back. The same great menu and warm friendly staff. I got the tacolotta and my wife enjoyed some taquitos. The sweet enchiladas sauce will entice you to eat the whole thing (pro tip ask for a to go box so you can save some)
The food is great and we ran into a lot of people we know so a fun dinner spot that you should leave full and happy“

“Went in today and tried the blueberry pastry which was very soft buttery and flaky it was so delicious. We also tried the cinnamon toasted bagel which had such good flavor. Breakfast sandwiches were on point. Bagels are soft and chewy toasted to perfection. Most importantly the ladies behind the counter were very friendly and thankful for our patronage. We appreciate that and had a great experience. We will be back in the future when we visit!!!“

“We always go to this IHOP to celebrate Veterans Day. It's our tradition. My husband is a veteran and he orders his free Red White and Blue breakfast. Great service every single time. It's so wonderful to see other vets celebrating around us too.“
