My husband and I were extremely taken care of when we came to eat here. It was our first time today but definitely not our last. We sat at the bar and the chef was amazing. We tried the Kit Roll and it was phenomenal. It was the perfect amount of spicy level too. The vibes where awesome, we will for sure be back for more!!“

“My husband was craving Teppanyaki so we came to Yamato on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded but since we really just wanted the food and didn’t necessarily want to see the “show” we were seated pretty quickly at a nice spacious booth. The servers were very friendly and attentive. We got the hibachi steak and shrimp and the hibachi steak and scallops which were both delicious. The fried rice was extremely flavorful and the portions are generous. The side of veggies was absolutely amazing. The price point is also very good. Some teppanyaki restaurants are extremely overpriced and Yamato is priced fairly especially for how much food you get. The atmosphere is fun and lively and perfect for celebrating birthdays, graduations, etc.

The only negative thing I would have to say is that the floors looked pretty dirty, but I did show up about an hour before they close. “Definitely needs a higher rating. Cause the sushi here was phenomenal! I mean the taste and quality was just truly amazing. We had the flaming salmon roll. The salmon just melted in your mouth. It had crab in it as well and it didn’t over power it. It blended so nicely together. Then there was a special that the chef made. It was so good. Meant to ask what he puts in it. But it was so delicious. Staff is so friendly and fun loving. They have such a good atmosphere and the service was truly great. We even had their house cold-sake. It was so good. The best part of whole experience was just how affordable it was! Definitely give this place a try.“

We were able to make dinner reservations for our party of nine, and they accommodated us perfectly right at 6:30. Our table was already set up and waiting when we arrived, which made everything feel smooth and welcoming from the start.

Our server was incredibly attentive—drinks and food kept flowing, and they cleared plates immediately after each sushi course, keeping the table clean and comfortable the entire evening.

The fish was very fresh and full of flavor. The Mexican roll was absolutely delightful—nice and spicy with jalapeños and sriracha, just the right kick. I also ordered a salmon roll, which was so good and filling that it was more than enough for me. We shared the garlic edamame—they don’t hold back on the garlic, but honestly, it was still really, really good.

The prices were amazing, especially for the quality and service. We had a great time from start to finish. Thank you, Mr. Sushi, for a wonderful experience and delicious food. We’ll definitely be back!
