“What a great anniversary meal! We had the delicious prix fixe menu and everything was top notch, from the bread basket with truffle compound butter to the citron crepe and cranberry crumble desserts. We made a 5:30pm reservation, which is probably necessary on a Saturday night. After we were seated in a lovely courtyard, I noticed a man in Farm chef attire standing next to a large menu board. We talked about the merits of each of the mains and I told him we were most interested in the duck cassoulet and beef bourguignon. Minutes later, after we were enjoying the tasty bread basket and butter, he brought a sample of each of the dishes' sauces to the table! Such attention to detail. Next was a watermelon amuse bouche, so refreshing. We selected the pear and Gorgonzola salad and the beet and arugula salad—both were carefully composed and delicious. We paired our mains with a Caymus cab and it did not disappoint. The duck in the cassoulet was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. The beef bourguignon was incredibly flavorful and especially great with the cab. Next was a light lemon sorbet pallet cleanser, so delicate and refreshing. We barely had room for the delicious desserts! Service by Justine and the support staff was impeccable. What a memorable evening, we highly recommend Farm.“

I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy the canned tuna but it was exquisite, I wish all canned tuna tasted this fresh and delicious! They had a great variety of food on the menu and everyone left satisfied. “I can't say enough about the vibe, people, space, and staff. The staff are wonderful, they won me over because a friend accidentally knocked over my martini that I literally had two sips from it. This happened right near the bar and the bar tender who made my the original martini saw this and started making me another and when I went to pay she said no. That is really amazing. And the other bartender was so nice as well. We were there because a friend reserved the back part for a party and it was the perfect space. There were about 30 people and had food catered in, such a great time. Was my first time and looking forward to going back.“

“Concise Review Great poolside food, drinks, & staff ----- Longer Review We have visited Marriott’s Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert since 2002, and afternoons at the pool, with food and drinks from Chuckwalla Bar & Grill, are a bit part of every trip. One of my all time favorite photos is from a nice afternoon, poolside, several years ago when the kids were little... it was one of our most fun and peaceful afternoons as a family anywhere... the photos is of our daughter, asleep on my wonderful wife, my wonderful wife smiling at me, and our son was on the chair in between us, smiling as he was drinking a strawberry smoothie from Chuckwalla’s... such a blessing. We visited Southern California - Palm Desert, Yucaipa, and Malibu - for Spring Break 2021. This trip we had more activities off-property than usual, so we only got one nice long afternoon at the pool, and RebekahM made it a little extra special. The sun, the water, fun in the pool... and smoothies... such a joy. Before I had a chance to think about it, smoothies were en route from Chuckwalla... strawberry, banana, and alcohol-free pina colada. Rebekah delivered them to us with a big smile and infectiously positive attitude. Rebekah turned the fun up a notch with her dancing and smiling and laughing as she took our orders and delivered to the families around the pool... everyone was extra happy when she was around. “We stopped by Jalisco’s this morning for brunch and it ended up being such a great experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, friendly smile and told we could sit anywhere. The vibe was welcoming right from the start.
I ordered the cucumber lemonade and OMG — highly recommend! Super refreshing, crisp, and delicious. For food, we got the chilaquiles and the nachos (as pictured), and both were packed with flavor and the perfect amount of spice.
The place stayed busy the whole time we were there — even a local sheriff’s deputy came in, which to me says a LOT. You know they’re picky about where they eat, so that’s when you know the food is good!

“Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.“

The sushi was fresh, and while the selection isn't massive, what they offer is well executed. Service was friendly and welcoming, though it did feel a bit slow at times, almost as if they were busier than the crowd suggested. Not a dealbreaker, just noticeable. If I had to mention one other downside, it would be the bathrooms—not that they were bad, but they could use a bit more attention to match the restaurant's higher-end feel, especially in terms of fragrance and upkeep.
