“My friend and I enjoyed everything. We started with the burrata, I got the filet, and she had the salmon. Everything was delicious and tasty. We both commented that everything had the perfect amount of salt for our taste too! The tahini ice cream was interesting and not too heavy which made it the perfect way to end the meal. The service was wonderful. Interesting location and very tastefully decorated inside. We definitely splurged, but it was worth it!“

“I heard it was a michalin star restaurant and I had big expectations. The escargot was overcooked and the multiple dishes ordered at our table was over seasoned. I had the pasta and my partner had the risotto.
The service and atmosphere were excellent; I just with the food was better. One person at our table ordered the burger, and that was excellent. But I didn't go to this restaurant to get a burger. Maybe it will be better next time.“

“We miss the buns you used to serve. Why don't you put them on the menu and charge for them? The replacement buns on the menu are NOT nearly as good. Also why did you tae the pork and burger sliders off the menu..they were great Happy Hour/anytime items .“

“Went here to celebrate my son's graduation from college. We had a fantastic experience. We started off with some appetizers drinks. I had the avocado taco salad. The food was excellent. We all indulged in a mai tai, they were perfect. We can't wait to dine here again. The atmosphere was great, our server was very pleasant. The manager even came over to ask how everything was and asked if we needed anything.“

“If you're trying to get into Farm and want an even more upscale alternative, Front Porch is the place for you. I'm loathe to leave this review, mostly because I don't want to make this gem any more popular than it already is. But if you want a select menu of gourmet goodies from upscale sandwiches to one of the best baked bries, this is it. The artisinal cocktails and super efficient, friendly staff make it a fantastic spot to stop for a nice drink and a delightful meal.“

Quiet spot, strong menu, and better than you’d expect. Definitely one to have in the rotation. I’ve only hit them up for dinner, but I can only imagine how great breakfast is here as well.“

“I enjoyed a wonderful experience at Farm in Palm Springs for an early Mother's Day dinner. We had delightful three hour six course dinner in a magical setting with live music and delicious fare. PROS: The hostesses graciously greeted us and sat us a bit earlier than our reservation time. Had a nice table in one of the rooms with a fireplace and a large mirror. The saxophonist played and the sound poured in with great acoustics from the speakers. The amuse bouch had avocado, so I could not eat it, so my mom enjoyed all two. My dad could not eat solid foods due to mouth surgery. The bread course had warm fresh items and silky salty butter. The beet salad, melon salad, and corn soup provided earthy, tart, sweet, and creamy bites and tastes. The varied textures provided a kaleidescope of fresh tastes. The baked brie offered sweet and savory mixes of grilled bread, pear, and date spread! The lemon sorbet palate cleanser provided a balanced experience that did its job. The salmon entree provided an exquisitely pan fried crispy and juicy flaky fillet. The creamy dijon mustard sauce complimented the protein perfectly. The sweet peppers offered a wonderful crunch. The swiss chard added some bitter contrast to the garlic potatoes. The wonderfully bitter Citron crepe provided a nice end to a culinary cruise. Crystal took great photos in the garden. Gilbert was professional and affable. CONS: They asked me so many times for extra drinks. I had to prompt them multiple times to fill the water glasses and refills on tea and diet coke. They charged me full price for mashed potatoes, soup, and sorbet for my dad's meal. I get it. OVERALL: I highly recommend this restaurant for a magical evening meal inspired by Provence, France.“

“I was just invited for my Birthday Afternoon Tea Celebration at this wonderful venue! Everything was perfect..The food, the atmosphere, the staff and Willie himself! The attention to detail was much appreciated. Lovely tea service, the live harp music, beautifully presented food. Our waiter made sure our yummy Vanilla Earl Grey Tea was always refreshed and hot. “What a great find. We were driving back to CA from Phoenix and were looking for a nice place to stop for lunch and we found It's a Wrap. It's basically the restaurant at the golf club house in a private community. The staff, food and location was great. It was very relaxing and we didn't have to worry about the stuff in our car in a strip mall type of location. Highly recommended.

Note that Google Maps will likely route you to the residents only entrance, to access the restaurant you need to enter off Varner road which is the service road of I-10“

“An amazing setting outside near the pool. Service was excellent! The food was delicious and uniquely presented and prepared. We had the sea bass and chicken mallard. Both were very good! The beet salad was so different but delicious. Had the coconut dessert for my birthday. A very wonderful way to celebrate my special day. You won't disappointed.“

“Selected this property for a short stay in the desert. I had seen mixed reviews since COVID but my personal experience was very positive. Received an incredibly warm welcome from Luke at the Front Desk. He could not have been more gracious and helpful. He even walked us to our room [#302]. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member I was very grateful that my suite upgrade request had cleared. The room was spacious and well laid out. There was a queen bed and a separate sofabed [no mention of this on the website though]. Two negatives included a lot of noise from the outside street [Indian Canyon Drive is a very busy road] also the bathroom really smelled whenever we took a shower.. the drains clearly need to be cleaned out. Everything else was great though...location is awesome...pools are really nice. One piece of advice...the cost of parking is not worth it...we parked on the surrounding streets. Recommend you do the same.“

“So I was seated immediately. The hostess and waiters were really quick and nice. The cooks were often not at the omelet counter, so people often waited a few minutes. The food was decent. The waffles and French toast were not too good, dry and overseasoned. The rest was good though. For a quick large meal, it was worth it.“

“Concise Review Great poolside food, drinks, & staff ----- Longer Review We have visited Marriott’s Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert since 2002, and afternoons at the pool, with food and drinks from Chuckwalla Bar & Grill, are a bit part of every trip. One of my all time favorite photos is from a nice afternoon, poolside, several years ago when the kids were little... it was one of our most fun and peaceful afternoons as a family anywhere... the photos is of our daughter, asleep on my wonderful wife, my wonderful wife smiling at me, and our son was on the chair in between us, smiling as he was drinking a strawberry smoothie from Chuckwalla’s... such a blessing. We visited Southern California - Palm Desert, Yucaipa, and Malibu - for Spring Break 2021. This trip we had more activities off-property than usual, so we only got one nice long afternoon at the pool, and RebekahM made it a little extra special. The sun, the water, fun in the pool... and smoothies... such a joy. Before I had a chance to think about it, smoothies were en route from Chuckwalla... strawberry, banana, and alcohol-free pina colada. Rebekah delivered them to us with a big smile and infectiously positive attitude. Rebekah turned the fun up a notch with her dancing and smiling and laughing as she took our orders and delivered to the families around the pool... everyone was extra happy when she was around. “We dined at State Fare Bar and Kitchen during our recent stay at Ritz Carlton Palm Springs. We had Breakfast and Dinner here (Their other dining option , steakhouse was full and wasn't taking any walk-ins)

Breakfast was good with buffet option but we skipped that and got the burrito and eggs Benedict which was solid. We also had the Prime Burger which they were serving during brunch hours and it was very good ! Service was below average during breakfast !

Dinner was a mixed bag. Our server was great but couple of dinner items fell short of expectations. The Salmon was a big disappointment and lacked in flavor. Avocado Fries and Tacos were great ! Drinks are also solid here !

Overall - A good experience. I would dine here if I am staying at the Ritz but would not visit if not staying at the resort.“

“Dear Escena Management I am writing to formally request a refund for the golfing fees paid for my recent visit to Escena golf course on May 4th 2024. Upon booking, I was led to believe, based on the descriptions and images presented on your website, that your course offered premium facilities and conditions. Regrettably, my experience did not meet these expectations. The condition of both the fairways and greens was notably poor and not reflective of the high standard promoted online. Additionally, the level of noise from constant overhead airplane traffic significantly detracted from the experience, further compounded by an exceedingly slow pace of play throughout the day. I have also noticed a number of overly positive reviews on your website and various social media platforms, which seem inconsistent with my experience and potentially misleading to other customers. This disparity raises concerns regarding the authenticity of those reviews and suggests a possible deceptive practice that I believe warrants further investigation. Given these issues, I feel that the quality of the course and the overall experience did not justify the prepayment of $166 per person. Therefore, I kindly request a full refund of the fees paid. I believe this request is reasonable under the circumstances and aligns with fair trading practices. Please let me know how we can facilitate this refund. I am hopeful for a swift resolution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this request. I look forward to your prompt response.“

“Okay I had really low expectations of this restaurant after reading some reviews but I had to dine here to use some F&B credit I had. It turned out to be a very satisfying meal!

I went on a Saturday noon. It’s quite empty just a few tables were occupied. I ordered steak salad ($25) and it was amazing!!! The steak was cooked to perfection and the salad portion was generous.

My partner got steak and fries )
($30) and it was delicious too. Fries were crispy I couldn’t stop eating lol.

Our waitress was also very welcoming (forgot her name but she had some tattoos on her arms).

Bloody Mary was just average so I don’t recommend it. Other than that I think this place deserves a solid 4.“

“Went to a 5pm fundraiser. Clearly they let an entire restaurant in early. There was not one seat available at 5. It was already maxed out with people wolfing down appetizers and wine with not one seat open. Not Cool. Clearly the good Ole boys got the we will let you in early memo. Too much competition around El Paseo to ever go back.“

“UPDATE! They refunded the extra tip. Thank you for doing the right thing.

We recently had a goodbye dinner at Al Dente Trattoria for a couple from our snowbird park. There were nine of us, and overall the food was good. Everyone ordered full meals, and the service was acceptable, especially considering the restaurant was relatively empty.

Before dining, we had all requested separate checks. What we did not realize was that the restaurant automatically added a 20% gratuity for parties over six people. Three people in our group noticed this and did not add an additional tip. Unfortunately, three of us did not catch it and ended up tipping more than 20% on top of the already-added 20%.

The next morning, after realizing what had happened, I called the restaurant right away. I explained the situation politely and asked if they could remove the extra tip from my bill, as I had also left cash. I was only speaking for myself, not the rest of the group. The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and told me she would look into it and get back to me.

Unfortunately, I never heard back, and the charge went through unchanged. As a result, our waitress received approximately a 40% tip on three fairly large bills.

I fully understand that I should have noticed the automatic gratuity myself, and I take responsibility for that. However, once the restaurant was made aware that several guests had clearly made the same mistake, I had hoped they would show some goodwill and help resolve it. Since nothing was done and no follow-up was provided, I am rating this restaurant one star based on the way the situation was handled from an ethical and customer service standpoint.“
