“First off, Terrific Customer Service at the Long Beach, CA location! The manager is amazing. So helpful with recommendations when asked, provides great detail, and is so enthusiastic about the incredible menu. Tocaya at 2nd & PCH has lovely, fresh, bright, clean food. The menu is unique and flexible. You get to choose the protein you want, the cheese you want, whether or not you want your dish to be vegan. So many options and super tasty food! My friend really enjoyed the VEGAN Asada & VEGAN Tinga tacos. I loved my Taco Salad with gluten-free, battered & fried mahi-mahi (that was so, so scrumptious) with Queso Fresco. I swapped and got the cilantro lime dressing (instead of the roasted poblano dressing) and my bowl of goodies was delicious. We shared and relished the Street Corn and the (VEGAN) Queso & Chips. We were both shocked to find the Queso was VEGAN; it’s that good! We also tried the vegan Crema, just to check it out — SO yummy. AND the obviously homemade chips were mouthwatering. Tocaya has seasonal Sangria selections, beer, and other interesting drink options. They’ve got indoor and outdoor seating… and I recommend you head over soon!“

“This was our very first stop in Los Angeles, and honestly, Benny’s Tacos set the bar impossibly high for everything that came after.

The bowl was absolutely surreal, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. But the real showstopper was the burrito. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life. The combination of pinto beans and carne asada was pure perfection, smoky, tender meat with creamy beans wrapped in every bite. The kind of thing you think about long after you’ve left.

“We went to this place late night after a magic show. I had never heard of it before and it was right next door on 4th Street. They have a small A-frame sign out front which says best tacos in Santa Monica and they are not wrong! The feature a wide variety of tacos with homemade tortillas which were authentic and flavorful. It's a small location but can fit large parties play I strongly suggest going there if you want to satisfy your taco fix.“

It’s a quaint family run Mexican eatery transporting you through time (back to your childhood with the juicy fruit gum) and space. You are part of the family here. My favorite part of the experience was eating the steak fajitas and the carnitas tacos, as I reminisced on childhood meals with my parents when we were first introduced to Mexican food in the US. “La Fonda of Inglewood was a really good experience overall. The food was good, the space was clean, and the whole restaurant felt inviting from the moment we walked in. It has a low-key, relaxed atmosphere, but also a fun personality that makes it stand out. The signage throughout the restaurant is in both English and Spanish, and some of it includes jokes and puns, which gives the place a lighthearted and welcoming feel.

One thing I appreciated right away was that they start you off with one free serving of chips, salsa, and bean dip. That was a nice touch and a great way to begin the meal. They also have a self-serve water station, which is convenient, and even that area has personality with a themed word search.

Their menu is thoughtful and has something for everyone. They serve breakfast all day, which is always a plus. They also offer a specific vegetarian/vegan menu and a dedicated kids menu, so it feels like they really try to accommodate different needs and preferences.

“This is a go to place for our family. Consistently good. We get takeout more frequently but the times we have eaten there have been nice. There is a little covered patio in the back with more tables. The service is fast and friendly. Love this place!“

This place has one of the best pastor tacos in LA. Their meats are well seasoned and are not dry. Their salsas have great flavor and heat.

The lines can be long but it is worth the wait. You just can't beat this place when it comes to taste, quality, and price.“

“So glad my daughter and I stopped here. We each had breakfast burritos and they were excellent. Not only delicious, but big. We both tried the hot salsa and liked it. The atmosphere was very inviting. The service was the best I've received in a very long time. The server was very attentive and sweet. The cook came out and asked if we were enjoying our meal. He was interested in our feedback. We both decided we would be back even though we don't live in the area. It was definitely worth the effort of finding parking. Don't pass this place up

“The perfect stop right before or after a flight (or both). The birria and the soup are perfection. It feels so light without the heavy comatose food feeling. I’ve tried several things on the menu and they are all top notch! I can’t rave enough about this place. Best food truck in the LAX vicinity. He made a delicious Oaxacan Old Fashioned (hint: ask for a Tajin rim) and the tacos were delicious. “We came in on January 1st and there was only one person sitting inside eating. We grabbed some menus and sat down and waited for a short while before someone came in from the back to take our order. Just one guy taking orders and in the kitchen, he was still able to get our food and the food for the few other people who came in after us out really quickly. The food was great, and the guy working was super nice. Come to find out towards the end of our meal that they were not actually open today. He’s there every day and his friend had come by so he let him in to eat and we just happened to get there when the door was unlocked. “What an amazing experience. I sampled some Horchata and bought a bag of Horchata Mix before I even ordered it was so good and can’t wait to make at home. Staff was friendly, kitchen was super clean and the flavors from the Taco Bistec en Salsa Rojo were so good. I paired it with the habanero salsa which had a nice kick to it.
