This is one of those Chinese places that opened when Adam was a lad and hasn't changed its approach since. I'd pay the chef whatever they wanted to stay, keep the service staff, keep the decor, and above all else, keep the menu. “If you like Panda Express, this is the restaurant that started it all. Food is much better here, and there is a much larger selection than Express. Friendly staff, and great portions. You will not leave hungry.

Surprised by how big the portions were—definitely worth the price. Orange chicken had good flavor, but the breading wasn’t as fresh as I’d like. Chow mein was a little too soft for my taste, but still had decent flavor.

Staff was polite and service was fast. Place looked clean and food came out hot.
Not perfect, but not bad either. I’ll come back again to try other dishes. 🙏“

“Great chinese restaurant, the noodles are very fresh and the meat tasty. The beef roll appetizer is a good size. Everyone liked the soup as well. My only wish would be a way to make the dish spicy without chili oil as it makes the dish even more oily.“

“I was a bit skeptical at thinking it is another restaurant serving s*ty soy sauce drenched noodles, but it was such a pleasant revelation how good the dishes were.

The Super Wok Special Beef is the one to order! It is incredibly tender, slight sweetness to it and buttery. It it served on top of a bed of sliced oranges. It is guaranteed to make you keep coming back for more. The dish is $19+ and serving is generous.

I went back another day to try out the lunch special. This time it was the crispy salt pepper shrimp selected. For $13.75, it came with a soup of the day, rice and the entree. Serving was very generous, maybe even 2 people can share one. It was excellent!

I regret ordering the prawn crispy noodles. Tasted terrible and too salty. Kind of like an overdone soy sauce noodles.“

“Chowking is one of the best Filipino small restaurants here in California. Their halo halo is one of my favorite especially summer time. Beef noodles and pork asado siopao is also really good. Employees are very nice and friendly and the parking is good too.“

“$8 combo with decent sized portion--chow mein, fried rice and a meat! Can't beat that! No frills restaurants. They don't soak their rice in oil like many Chinese restaurants. Good orange chicken, also saw they have jalapeño chicken and fried banana.

Parking might be tough in this neighborhood but it's free.

“No dine in so I won’t review service and atmosphere. Crab Rangoon was good. Orange chicken was fairly good but some pieces had more orange flavor than others. Black pepper beef had lots of vegetables and would have preferred more beef, flavor was good but could have been more peppery. Xo sauce string beans didn’t have much flavor, but I tasted the sauce in the bottom of the container and it was good so maybe the beans need to marinate more. I’ll try it again tomorrow and see if it tastes better. So, all in all, I’d say the food is kind of average.“

“Ordered takeout and food was made fast. Service was quick and front of the house is friendly. The chow men is a bit thicker. Their chicken dishes were delicious and perfectly cooked. Their darker sauce dishes are more flavorful than other Chinese restaurants nearby. The moo goo gai pan was good. In comparison to other Chinese restaurants here, they have saltier food, but that lends to a good flavor.“

“If you want one of the best Mongolian bbq in Simi Valley, this is your spot. You can dine in or take your food to go. I did both. They have a good variety of dishes on their menu. They also have a Mongolian bbq bar where you can choose your own ingredients and have the chef cook it for you. The staff are very nice and so are the chefs. It’s a fun experience watching them cook. “I had a terrific experience at this Panda Express inside Topanga Mall. I used my Tmobile Tuesday code on the orange chicken bowl for mobile order. When I went to pick it up, my food was already wrapped up in the bag. They give a decent amount of chicken with the rice. My sisters also met up with me after I finish eating my food and wanted to get her orange chicken bowl as well so I placed another order along with beef and broccoli. She then decided that she wanted Teriyaki chicken too but since my mobile order was already submitted, I told her to just order it in person. The line wasn't so bad, so she did the la carte Teriyaki chicken in a small box. The lady cutting the chicken and putting it in the box made sure that it's fully packed so that's highly appreciated because she made sure you get your money worth. Overall I would recommend coming here if you're craving a quick dish to eat.

“When I walked in, I was greeted by 2 friendly people. I let him know that it was my first time here. He gave me the whole rundown of selections that I could pick from, and what was the most popular. That was helpful. I ordered the two item combo. I asked if they were making any more chicken and mushroom. He said they could do that for me, which was nice. I got my order, and I would have to say that they offer nice size portions. The food was tasty. I would consider going back some other

This Panda Express location in Simi Valley has completely ruined all other Panda locations for me—in the best way possible! Their orange chicken is consistently perfect crispy, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweet and tangy.

I don’t know what kind of magic their kitchen team is working with, but they nail it every single time. I travel for work and all the pandas in other cities and even other states, end up leaving me disappointed because no other location gets it quite like this one.

Everywhere else, it’s either soggy or bland, but not here!!! This place has officially spoiled me! If you’re an orange chicken lover, this is the gold standard.

“I work up the street. I go here for lunch atleast 4 days a week. The staff are usually the same showing the have a low turnover rate. The food is consistent and the service is always as great. Sometimes it is busy and some rude people like to take it out on the staff for making them wait. But not me.“
