“New Owners! Delicious Persian and Pakistani (alternate pages of menu). We had their paneer appetizer). It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. I enjoyed an inhouse, freshly made mango lassi. Wow! We have enough leftover to enjoy a shared lunch tomorrow.”

“This place is a true gem! My husband and I have ate here twice now and we have NOT been disappointed. Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. Whether you want savory or sweet there's something for everyone!”

“If you're looking for a new cafe to try out in Citrus Heights, you have to check out Greenhouse Cafe! This place is fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough. First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. Great food, great service, and a great owner who cares about giving back to the community. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!”

And then I got an order of aloha deep fried and a TNT roll also and my husband ordered 2 rolls and 1 of my cousins in laws ordered 3 different things and his wife ordered a roll also and we had 4 sake bombs but I only drank the hot sake. The waitress even though she was super nice didn't seem to keep everything straight and also had a hard time keeping our table ordered straight she forgot about my iced tea for the longest time. An then they couldn't and wouldn't do anything special off my birthday even though we go there a lot and always spend a lot of money there. We got there with our group at a round 5pm tonight, I wanted to come here because of how great our service and food was last time we were in here and everything and we always spend a lot of money when we're here. We also got my cousin in laws into something new the pepper fin they had never had it before and they loved it. The restaurant was clean there was only a few tables that were full when we came in and then after we ordered our food a reservation for 8 + came in and also several other tables as well. But the big thing is that even though our waitress was super nice and everything she couldn't keep everything together and straight and we had to keep asking for things on top of it, the food we all got were good but not as good as last time but I do love the bigger pieces of pepper fin we got this time that was a huge plus for me sense it's my favorite and my husband knows it.”

“The owner Stevie is AMAZING! We came in with a big party of 6 adults and 6 kids (all under the age of 5) around 8pm. We were looking for a last minute place to host our friends who were visiting us and Stevie truly went above and beyond my expectations! She made sure the adults were taken care of, as well as our kids. She and her dad were very attentive the whole night, even though there was another big party at the same time. She even made sure we knew about their kids section, which has bar stools and a counter full of coloring books, puzzles, books, magazines, playing cards, etc. Our kids were getting restless being at the restaurant, but she took time to talk with them, and entertain them with stickers and knick knacks. She even let them take a toy home! She was just the sweetest. It's hard to find a place that accommodates kids, and would never expect any establishment to bend over backwards just because have kids. But she was just so welcoming to us all. We will definitely be coming back!”

This location has a lunch buffet (all-you-can-eat pizza & salad) and a sports bar. Employees are usually pretty good at asking if there is a particular kind of pizza you'd like to have in the buffet.

The facilities are clean and modern with many TV screens displaying various sports.”

“Wow! Finally, a GREAT chinese restaurant in this part of town. I have been to a lot of chinese restaurants in my life and this one really stands out for excellent with many authentic dishes. May was our server. She was wonderful. May helped us select dishes. The food was fresh and the produce was super fresh and clean. We tried the Magic Chili Chicken, absolutely delicious and spicy. The Chow Fun was the best I have ever had, wonderful flavors. We also tried the Spicy Pork Dumpling appetizer, amazing flavors and the sauce was so good I was eating it with a spoon. We got our usual General Tao's Chicken, but theirs was so good, the flavors. Not your typical version swimming in a heavy sugar syrup. I actually felt good after eating dinner there. We are going back next week, I can't wait any longer, and we are excited to try more dishes.”

Not a long wait at all, he showed me the salsa bar and I got myself a bunch! The avocado salsa was my favorite forsure. I left very satisfied with customer service, we picked a nice spot in town to eat and it was still so hot and fresh. I got the carne asada tacos, put the beans he gave us on them with avocado salsa… WOW! My husband got the carnitas burrito with a bunch of fixings in it, the burrito was HUGE just how he loves it. He couldn’t stop complimenting how great it was every bite!

“I ordered on DoorDash and the food got here fast, however, in one piece? Not so much. There were tears all over the aluminum foil to my burrito and the burrito was falling apart when I opened it! I had to eat it with a fork and knife! I also ordered spicy and I got a sweet green sauce/salsa. The food was alright, and would be alright if it wasnt for the miscellaneous bay leaf in my food the first bite. If I know anything about cooking, you take bay leaves out of whatever youre cooking once the food is finished!

I would ask for a remake or a refund but I ordered it on DoorDash and I ate it anyways so I doubt anybody over there would be so kind.

It was truly unfortunate for this to happen, I am not normally picky about my food, but this was a mess.

Edit: The General Manager really hooked me up! I went over and dined in today and the service was amazing, the salsa were fresh, although the hot Pico was missing, it didnt really take away the enjoyment I had. Dos Coyotes the way I remember, thank you Ken!”

I was way wrong. My wife and I met Mo, he told us about the brisket special. It sounded too good. We ordered that and split the spicy chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese.

Everything was delicious. Even my espresso martini. Usually people put way too much alcohol in it. This one was perfect.

Even the bathrooms are clean as heck.

They were so amazing, left them a $20 tip. My wife and I are already planning coming here next time we are in the area.”

“I drive by this place every day and finally I stopped to try it out and I got the corn with Cheetos the waffle and ice cream and the mangonada. Everything was pretty delicious.

I think the corn needs more stuff in it. Than again I was maybe thinking it would taste more like elote with Cheetos on it so that maybe why I was a bit disappointed, but than I had the mangonada and omfg. It was the perfect summer dessert honestly. The freeze with the actually sweet mango drizzled in that spicy goodness. If you’re ever overheated and want something cool and delicious just go here seriously if they had alcohol added to that they would have customers out the door.

The service was quick. The guy was very fast at what he does definitely recommend.

“04/15/2023; 7:10 PM unfortunate experience… I came in to pick up my “to go” order. I stated I was there to get my order, I was asked my last name. I gave my last name, and staff member behind the kitchen counter area picked up my bag, looked in the bag, and said, “I will get you a cup for your tea.” Then, the manager behind the Counter abruptly inserted herself into the conversation by saying, “She said the cup is in the bag!” I said that isn’t what I heard. At this time the staff member handed me the cup. The manager was dismissive and made yet another unnecessary comment as if to make herself relevant. (Not sure why she felt so needy) I walked away and said perhaps a Google review is in order, and she said, “Oh, that’s not necessary, and said “have a nice day” in the most disingenuous tone. While all this was transpiring, she was giggling behind the counter with co-workers like a Junior high school girl. I found the laughter to be rude, and clear that my business was both unappreciated and minimized. This experience was definitely an exception from my typical good experiences. Not sure if it was a slow night and she needed to feel involved in a simple transaction. She should FOCUS on her people skills.”

“We go here 5 times a week but lately the service has gone downhill. The last 4 times I ordered for my group all their drinks are finished quickly and mine is late. 2 times they completely forgot my oatmeal. Today I ordered my drink and my husband’s coffee. I put the personal cup there for the coffee. I had to alter the stars used for the coffee from 60 to full coffee stars. They used the stars for the coffee and then erased my drink from the order. After about 10 minutes I went up and asked what happened to my drink and they said oh I thought you canceled it. I was getting frustrated from the last few times that my drinks were always late and I cried a little and they made my Matcha and everything. And then my husband heard them complaining that I was pathetic because I got frustrated and cried. I was frustrated because it’s always my drink that gets delayed or forgotten and for some reason now Cancel. They didn’t even use the personal cup for the coffee. They just left it by the register. So I don’t even think they’re giving me the stars for bringing my own personal cup.”
