“Excellent service and amazing food! The staff at Haidilao are super friendly and attentive. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely one of the best hot pot experiences I’ve ever had!”
“Bryan was a good server I will definitely come back thank you Bryan wonderful experience 💯 best birthday ever.”
“Been coming here for years now and prefer it over boiling crab! Always fresh and the sauce is always perfect 😊. The staff is always friendly and attentive! Will always be loyal to king crawfish!”
“The duck had this sweet caramel taste that was off putting. They served it with pancakes which we were happy with. But the green beans and the salt & pepper shrimp were good.
There’s nice light fixtures and wallpaper. Lively atmosphere without being overwhelming. The servers were nice. We just had to ask again for our bowl of rice that we had ordered.”

“Eat there only if you want to be treated like dirt. I am sick and tired of their way of treating their customers. They don't do reservations and their wait system is unforgiving and insane. 1. Long wait times like 1.5 hours 2. But with that long wait time, they only give you 10 minutes to "all be there" when they tell you table is ready. 3. That's not even the worst. They put a "wait time" estimate near their check in table. So you would think that is a solid guideline right? But no. The REAL wait time can swing a good 30 minutes both ways. Say they put "Current Wait time is 1.5 hours" you could get a call at 1 hour mark. And then they give you 10 minutes to get your party to be there. And they give you hell if your party can't make it like it's your fault that you don't have crystal ball to tell that your table will be ready in one hour’s time. I have tolerated it coz their food is actually really good. Meat quality is good etc etc. What broke the camels back today is. I checked in at 5:45 today. Wait time is 1.5 hours. So estimate sit time is 7:15 right? When I get the text that table is ready at 7:05 I thought all is awesome. AND THEN they told me that are actually having a staff party tonight and last call is at 8. That leaves my party less than an hour to do an AYCE dinner. I was furious. So I question them, “Why didn't you tell your customer that when they checked in?” "Well, we put the notice on the door. You didn't see it! So… 🤷🏻♀️” 1. There are a bunch of white and black notices all over the door and check in area. 2. And yes. My eye sight is not awesome. I didn't see it. But shouldn't it be THEIR JOB to let customer know VERBALLY when they check in that they are shifting the last call time an hour early? That’s basic decency. I wasted almost 2 hours there and by then it’s like lines all over the place for any place. I am never going back again for a restaurant that treats their customer like dirt so they can make money off me any more.”
“Fantastic 10-course Peking Duck banquet for 10 people at an unbeatable price of $288.95! The duck was expertly prepared across three dishes, with the wrap being a standout (we requested extra wraps). Other highlights included the shrimp, eel & sticky rice, and fillet mignon. However, the real showstoppers were the giant steamed fish and dessert soup with rice balls, which stole the show with the group.
Service and ambiance were on par with a traditional Chinese restaurant. A reservation is a must, and 8-10 people is the ideal group size to take advantage of these banquets. Worth noting: they seem to have set seating times to ensure perfectly roasted ducks.
We'll definitely be back – the drive may be over an hour, but it's worth it for this incredible food experience.”

“The place was very empty when I got there, therefore we were able to be seated quickly. The food was fresh and it was tasty. I was worried and checked the ratings online to make sure it was legit. lol.
The bad part is that there isn’t enough workers so it’s hard to get their attention when they’re cooking.
Other than that it was excellent.”

“Sobok Sobok is a charming Korean-owned bakery and ice cream shop with a modern yet cozy atmosphere. Though the space is small, its simple design and warm ambiance create a relaxing vibe.
Breakfast Experience
I visited in the morning for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Their Croissant Sandwich was a great choice—crispy on the outside and filled with ham, cheese, egg, and lettuce, making for a satisfying and protein-rich meal.
For my drink, I tried the Black Sesame Latte, but it was a bit disappointing. The sesame powder didn’t dissolve well into the hot milk, and no one informed me that it needed stirring, which affected the overall taste.
Environment & Amenities
There are plenty of seats, but a few downsides for those looking to work or study here:
No power sockets, which makes it inconvenient for long stays.
No WiFi, so it’s not the best place for remote work or studying.
Not dog-friendly—only service dogs are allowed, so pet owners should take note.
Final Thoughts
Sobok Sobok has potential, and with a few small improvements, it could be a fantastic go-to spot for both breakfast and dessert lovers.
While my breakfast experience was mostly enjoyable, I’d love to return to try their shaved ice and ice cream next time, as those seem to be their specialties.”
“Delicious, I love it(⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)❣️
The first time I tried Chuanchuan Hotpot was in the United States🤣🤣🤣
The white soup is super delicious✨The red soup tastes right too✨It’s really spicy😂”
“A truly affordable hidden eatery. It's not well-known, but the taste is really good and the service is good. They also serve glutinous rice balls after the meal, which is highly recommended!
Kid-friendliness: Shanghai has a sweet taste and not many spicy dishes, so it is suitable for children.”

“In-N-Out never disappoints—everything is consistently fresh, simple, and delicious. The burgers are always made to order, the fries taste best when eaten hot, and the shakes add the perfect finishing touch. Service is quick and friendly, even when the line is long, and the quality is always reliable no matter which location you visit. It can get crowded during peak hours, but that’s just proof of how popular it is. You really can’t go wrong with In-N-Out.”
“Imagine coming to a Japanese Crepe Shop and then proceeding to be angry it’s not soft French Crepes 🙄
(Lacking personal touch because they used a kiosk?? Dude it’s just a kiosk, they still greet you. You can take your time looking at the options and personalize it to your liking.)
I’ve been coming to this place easily 20 times, and the quality has yet to drop. Fruits are fresh, sweet, and every element is perfection. Matcha cream is super rich with matcha flavor, vanilla ice cream is a seductive vanilla bean flavor, and the yogurt cream has a beautiful tartness to it. All wrapped in a beautiful crispy rice crepe.
(And they’re so generous with their servings!!)
I prefer Japanese style since I find French crepes usually disappointing and soggy (unless it’s a good shop)
Best place to hit with friends. Don’t be scared to try the savory options those are so good too. I love the crepes here. Photos are from the last five visits (my favorite is clearly the berry crepe)”
“Excellent time! Ordered the Calabrian Steak and Shrimp Bucatini w/ extra, extra cheese and the Chocolate Lasagna for dessert. The Calabrian crème sauce was spicy, but not overpowering. The dessert was scrumptious! Sarah, our waitress, checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Especially the request for extra, extra cheese lol. Thank you Sarah and Olive Garden for a beautiful and delicious evening!”
“Fresh and delicious! California Fish Grill offers many appetizing specialties at decent prices. The self service kiosks beautifully display the available offerings. Wait time is fairly quick. The soft drink selections are eclectic and delicious. And there’s a small outside dining area in addition to inside seating.”

“I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times, and the food quality has stayed consistently good over time. The prices aren’t exactly cheap, but the portions are generous. For Los Angeles, their rice noodle rolls are definitely among the better ones you can find. That said, a word of caution—always try to park your car somewhere visible, and never leave any valuables inside. Otherwise, your window—or your belongings—might be gone when you get back. This goes for any nearby parking spots too. Be careful.”
“Bought frozen food from here 1st time. Great food. Hope they have more options in frozen items in the future. I will definitely buy more in the future. One suggestion: Vacuum seal bag must be sealed securely especially the soup base. My beef stew soup and chicken noodle bags are leaking 😕. Luckily I have ziplock bag on each item before I put in my freezer. Otherwise my refrigerator will be all wet after I defrost my item in my refrigerator.”
“The restaurant is big and super cool. Customer service was great. The food was fantastic. My least favorite were the chicken wings because they had no seasoning, 0 flavor. The chicken pot pie, the PB jelly burger and the calamari were perfectly cooked. I definitely recommend this place for the whole family.”
“As someone who often gives one stars to trashy businesses, I don’t believe this restaurant deserves a sub-four rating.
In fact aside from the authentic food, the service is friendly and exceptional compared to the rest of the businesses in the area.
I high recommend this place to anyone interested in Chinese northwestern food.”
“Authentic Chinese/Taiwanese cuisine in the heart of the City of Industry. They have a good selection of precooked dishes which can be combined in various ways - $10 for three dishes plus rice and soup! You really can't go wrong with that. Lots of other items, including a wide selection of fruit drinks and *Traditional Taiwanese Shaved Ice*. Atmos is ok, and there's no table service. But that $10 deal puts all the fast food places to shame!”
“I don't usually frequent places where food is unfamiliar to me, however their Hot and Sour tomato and egg soup is pure medicine for many illnesses. I also get two orders of fried garlic which act as antibiotics to any illness. I must say the taste is perfect for me. I order from here at least twice a week.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator always empty.”
“A very few that are still left as a true authentic shanghanes style restaurant in southern california. The 2 are absolutely wonderful. What the place in a very depressed location? I wish the restaurant are in a better setting, but the food is the best”
“Wife and I have been coming here and their previous location in Chino Hills for 14 years. It's consistently the best shabu place around. I recommend the ribeye with house for the first time diners. It's what we always get and never regret it.”

“This was my first time at Carl’s Jr and I really enjoyed the food! Everything was fresh and delicious. The service provided by Lucian was absolutely perfect — he was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Definitely looking forward to coming back!”
“A very large Starbucks with plenty of indoor seating and a few outside tables. It was a typical experience from any other Starbucks. Not much individual character or evidence of community involvement you would see at other locations. Friendly staff such as Leo.”
“Worker was nice and our desserts were refreshing. I love the cute atmosphere of the place. It was clean and there was a big orange tree and a mummy mouse by the register. It was a nice pit stop for dessert.”
“Loved my experience at East Town hot pot!! It was my first time seeing a charcoal hot pot, and I loved that you could choose two types of soup for each pot! They have a really wide selection of proteins and veggies. I highly recommend the beef and lamb combo! It’s mostly beef options, but it gives you a good selection of their proteins! Also, save some room for dessert! They have fresh cut fruits, popcorn, and a soft serve machine!”
Takeout Restaurants
“It is nice Chinese restaurant, located in Valley Boulevard area of City of Industry. I have read good reviews, about this restaurant. So, one day, after work, in May of 2024, I decided to grab my dinner at this establishment. When I came, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. Of course, my visit was in the middle of the week. In addition, the staff were helpful and attentive. They also recommended certain meals to try out. Those meals were well-made, and in timely manner. At the same time, they were delicious. Of course, the prices, too, were not on the expensive side. So, if anyone is in City of Industry or La Puente area, I would recommend to stop by this restaurant. It is located at Rhino Plaza shopping area.”

“Very happy to eat authentic Taiwanese food!
Bringing the complete taste of Taiwan to LA, the food was very touching~
Ban Niang has a very forthright southern personality?I felt like I was back home for a second
The drumstick rice and salty crispy chicken are both delicious?”
“So happy. I didn't want the In-and-Out down the street, so I drove back to this place. It was, how do say in Spanish... fantastique? fantastisch? No. Mucho Fantastico! The nice lady behind the counter recommended pork for my Torta. It was SO GOOD I HAD TO WASH MY HANDS AFTERWARDS. When I was pulling up, an employee was taking out the garbage. From the dumpster our eyes met and he said Hi. It took a second look to realize that the gang graffiti was covered with a mural because they care and have pride! And for sure, the barbed wire fence around this place was there to keep the flavor inside! Make no mistake, this place needs some better tables, but the food and the people inside shine like diamonds. Best Torta I've ever had.”

“Had to get food in a hurry before work. Thought I would give this place a try. I was surprisingly impressed with how good the food is. I tried the orange chicken and BBQ pork. The orange chicken actually tasted better than most other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. The noodles were fantastic as well. Got a small order of their spicy wings and they were legit…. Sticky, sweet, and spicy. I’ll definitely be back.”
“It's definitely a different experience! First you get choices of meats, veggies, noodles from the fridge & you do your own mixing. They offer the soup base & you can ask for refills. They charge per the big plates that you get from the fridge. Worth the try! I consider this as a go to comfort food 😋”

“Went to give this spot a try, was unsure about the mixed reviews. But this place is actually really good, got the tacos Dorados with cheese and guac, they were delicious, guess others went on a slow or bad day. I will be back here again..... price is a little up there, as the taco dorados are $4 with everything. They are cash only....”
“I have been to Monja since my high school time. It is a very convenient place to eat quick and nice food. They have the best noodles and the best fried salted chicken. Their taste is exactly Taiwan style. It is also a good place to hang out with classmates and friends there to chat and play games. I love this place!”

“It was a great first visit here for me tonight. I would definitely recommend this place to all nearby residents, business owners, employees, everyone else imaginable. Employees are friendly. Business is clean. Plus, it has a drive thru for folks whom appreciate and patronize that frequently.”
“This Applebees was a little different.......I was served a slightly cool beer with a head on it.......glass was not cold.......I brought it to the bartenders attention and told her just make sure the next one was good........next one was good but it had a big on it and when I mentioned it to the bartender she said the last one did too and I accepted it......she was right”

“Very great service, Alfredo the manager is one of a kind. Congratulations to the whole team!!!! 😃😃😃”
“Yunnan Guoqiao Garden is a cozy and charming spot that beautifully showcases the flavors of Yunnan cuisine. The restaurant’s clean and thoughtfully designed interior, with wooden accents and warm lighting, sets the perfect tone for an enjoyable meal. I also appreciated the display of specialty cold dishes near the entrance—a great touch for anyone wanting to try a variety of flavors.
The Tianqi Steamed Chicken Soup was the star of the meal. Served in a traditional clay pot, the broth was rich and aromatic, with subtle herbal notes that made it deeply comforting. The chicken was tender and infused with the flavors of the soup, making each bite feel like a treat. It’s the kind of dish that lingers in your mind long after the meal.
The service was efficient, ensuring everything arrived promptly, though there’s a little room for improvement in terms of attentiveness. Overall, Yunnan Guoqiao Garden delivers on its promise of authentic and satisfying Yunnan flavors, and it’s a spot I’d happily revisit.”

“If you haven’t tried Taiwanese popcorn chicken before, this is the perfect place to start. Their popcorn chicken is authentic, with a crispy, golden exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior that won’t disappoint. There are also some simple tables and chairs set up inside, providing a space to enjoy your meal. The shop is located inside Secoya Market and sells traditional Taiwanese street food. They also offer Japanese sushi but I haven't had the chance to try it.
Parking: There is plenty of parking outside the Secoya Market.”
“My company used Crossroads for a very long project that required catering every weekday for over three weeks. Helen was quick on delivery, she was willing to work with us to add variation to the lunches and her prices could not be beat. The employees we were training highly complimented all the food. Sandwiches, wraps, tacos, bento bowls and salads. All of it was delicious. I cannot thank Helen a Crossroads enough for her hard work and wonderful food.”
“Absolutely love Boba Ave 8090! The drinks are consistently delicious—especially the Messy Milk Tea and Strawberry Uji Matcha, which are both flavorful and visually stunning. The popcorn chicken is crispy, well-seasoned, and always hits the spot. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, making it a great hangout spot. Highly recommend to any boba lover looking for top-tier drinks and snacks!”
“The mille crepe cakes here are consistently delightful — soft layers, light cream, and flavors that actually taste like what they say they are (looking at you, taro and matcha). Everything feels handcrafted and intentional, not overly sweet, and totally satisfying without being heavy. Even the packaging is beautiful, which makes it great for gifting.
Parking is easy, the staff are friendly, and there’s no drama — which, unfortunately, hasn’t been the case at the South Coast Plaza location. I’m mentioning this not to take away from the experience here, but because I genuinely love your brand and want to see it thrive everywhere. The EV charger situation at SCP has created some tension, with security allowing mall employees to hog stations overnight and threatening guests with police calls after hours. It’s become a deterrent to an otherwise great dessert spot.
Please — if ownership or management sees this — take a closer look at what’s happening over there. Your cakes deserve to be the highlight of someone’s day, not the last sweet bite before a parking nightmare.”
“It's IHOP. My boyfriend wanted pancakes and I can't fill him up on $5 anywhere else. Only went there because we were leaving town and had a long day. It's in a Strong asain community with so much good food. Ihop is for tourist and mexicans in the area. That being said, the pancakes were very good. The service was very good. And the price was right. Nothing wrong with it. Just a lot of other good options in the area if your open to non-american food. If you really just want to eat what your used to, it's a good quality option.”
“Every of the week, they have their own specials! We went in for their lunch. Walk in and they’ll seat you at a table. It wasn’t busy during lunch time. They have lots of to go orders as I see people coming in and out.Taiwanese Sausage /Popcorn chicken - both comes with rice with minced pork + soup + small sides + whatever you picked. The portions are good for its price. The meats weren’t overcooked and the sides were all flavorful!Takoyaki - we got this as a complimentary appetizer. It was good and bigger than some places I’ve been to.Milk tea- not too sweet! It was pretty good. We got samples to taste.Interior - definitely a bit older looking but I’m here for the food. I would recommend them to wipe down their plates, tables more. If was a bit sticky when I gel onto my combo platter.Staffs were all nice and speaks a bit of English. Their menu are also in English so don’t worry!
Parking: Lots of parking but the spots are tiny!”
“Overall great experience—big booties rockin’ everywhere, and the energy was wild in the best way. M was hands down the best performer I’ve seen in town—absolute star. One of them even made me feel loved again after the divorce with my third wife. The drinks were solid, the staff was chill, and the vibe hit just right. Honestly, I’d come again without thinking twice. Didn’t expect therapy and a show, but here we are. Would recommend 🙌.”
