“They deep fry their meats really well. I tried the popcorn chicken, fried pork chop, and red grain pork. All had a nice starchy and lightly crispy crust with moist meat inside. It’s like they applied the Taiwanese popcorn chicken crust to the pork chop and red grain pork, which is a good thing because I think their popcorn chicken is exceptional. (Note: I’m used to the pork chop being fried differently and I’ve never had red grain pork before.) From the photos, I was afraid the red grain pork would be dry and not taste good, based on my experience with HK style char siu, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and moist it actually was.“

“Huge portions for a great price of a two item bowl and rice especially if you are a nearby uni/college student from CPP or MtSAC which have no fast service chinese food options. Delicious food and welcoming attendant and server and when they were out of an item , they immediately cooked it for me!“

“This restaurant is always a go to for family dinners. You can get so much food for all really great price. They have a LOT of items on their menu as well. We come here for their spicy wontons and soup dumplings. Their honey garlic pork chop is super flavorful as well. Service was really friendly. The staff was always checking in on us.“

“This is the spot for authentic Taiwanese style pork chops! You’ll love it if you into mom and pop food that is cooked and served with love.
Be patient, they are busy and set your expectations given this is only run by 2 people.
Amazing food, fair prices and easy to get to.“

“I have moved to the east for a few years and rarely come to Mongolia. At that time, we would treat guests to family dinners and have dinner with friends from time to time. The food and environment are all very good.It is the kind of old restaurant that has been carefully run by gourmet professionals with research, style and heritage for many years. The beer in the Chinese restaurant in Los Angeles is very good.I don’t know why, but when I first looked at it, the rating was really not high.It seems that Mu Xiu is in the forest. An old friend returns from Taiwan,Several old friends specially gathered here again,The roast duck was as authentic as ever.Fresh and sweet meat crab, glutinous eel cakeBoiled beef, stir-fried mutton with green onions, hot and sour soup...Tonight and what evening...It's still better than Mengshi, although the yard is a little smaller.I suddenly realized that I might have missed something!
Parking: The parking lot is in the front yard on the roadside, easy to find and not confusing.

“Yunnan Guoqiao Garden is a cozy and charming spot that beautifully showcases the flavors of Yunnan cuisine. The restaurant’s clean and thoughtfully designed interior, with wooden accents and warm lighting, sets the perfect tone for an enjoyable meal. I also appreciated the display of specialty cold dishes near the entrance—a great touch for anyone wanting to try a variety of flavors.
The Tianqi Steamed Chicken Soup was the star of the meal. Served in a traditional clay pot, the broth was rich and aromatic, with subtle herbal notes that made it deeply comforting. The chicken was tender and infused with the flavors of the soup, making each bite feel like a treat. It’s the kind of dish that lingers in your mind long after the meal.
The service was efficient, ensuring everything arrived promptly, though there’s a little room for improvement in terms of attentiveness. Overall, Yunnan Guoqiao Garden delivers on its promise of authentic and satisfying Yunnan flavors, and it’s a spot I’d happily revisit.“

“I don't usually frequent places where food is unfamiliar to me, however their Hot and Sour tomato and egg soup is pure medicine for many illnesses. I also get two orders of fried garlic which act as antibiotics to any illness. I must say the taste is perfect for me. I order from here at least twice a week.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator always empty.“

“I had the Hainanese chicken rice and Qingtang beef bun. It was very delicious. I felt that the very simple seasoning of the chicken rice brought out the deliciousness of the chicken to its fullest. The seitan beef bun also had the flavor of meat, but the soup that had the flavor of beef was impressive and very delicious. I like this seitan gyufu better than Japanese ramen with excessive flavor.“
