“This is my favorite coffee in Orange County and I’m a coffee snob!!

First of all, they use organic coffee beans and organic whole milk as an automatic in the lattes!! This is literally my dream come true.

Each time I go, it feels like that small mom and pop coffee spot where you can have a convo with the barista and feel like it’s home.

The location is perfect. You have a view of the ocean and a few chairs and small tables to sit and drink with the view.

Whenever I’m on this side of OC, you’ll find me grabbing a 10oz latte from Equator.“

“Had a craving for coffee after walking by the beach so I googled spots nearby. With so many options (never Starbucks) I saw this one had a pretty fair amount of good reviews. It’s pretty small, not a lot of seating, but you’re by the beach so not really a priority.
I took a look at the specialty menu and I have to say, nothing too crazy. I settled in the cherries and cream latte. I didn’t really taste anything special. The coffee itself wasn’t bad, just didn’t stand out“

“After our quick flight we were looking for a spot to grab coffee and a bite before a show at the Segerstrom Center. Most of the nearby recs on Reddit were super upscale—not really our vibe. We’re into the arts, sure, but we’re also lowkey and prefer somewhere relaxed. So glad we found Hola Adios. The coffee hit the spot, the breakfast burritos were delicious, and the chill, youthful energy of the place made us feel right at home. “This cafe and Juice bar STOLE our hearts! A MUST when in San Diego and La Jolla. I mean, WOOOOWWW! We were able to sneak in a quick breakfast before our whale tour at the Little Italy location, and thank goodness we did! My only regret is not visiting every single day for their exceptional breakfast and high-quality juices! I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed. You can not go wrong with Parakeet. Thank you to the divine chefs and baristas - you made Parakeet the most beloved restaurant during our time in California!!!“

“A Wonderful Discovery in Costa Mesa

As a new customer at The Lost Bean in Costa Mesa, I couldn’t be more delighted with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into a space that is clean, well maintained, and peaceful — perfect for relaxing or getting work done.

The coffee is excellent, crafted with care and consistency. The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything I’ve tried has been outstanding.

What makes this place even better is the staff, especially a gentleman named Chris. He is kind, sincere, smart, and attentive. He creates a welcoming atmosphere and seems to play a major role in running the shop.

The entire team is friendly and helpful, but Chris stands out. I hope the management team recognizes him and lets him know he is appreciated. He makes a big difference.

Because of him and the great environment, The Lost Bean has quickly become one of my favorite places in Costa Mesa.

“Tried this gem on vacation and visited twice during our short trip. Had the best spicy dirty chai & the al capp special on an onion bagel was so good. The iced coffee comes with coffee ice cubes, which is a nice touch. Walking to the beach to eat breakfast and watch the morning surfers was very nice. I'll be making an al capp special at home until we meet again.“

“The best açaí bowl I’ve ever had in my life.
They had a great variety of toppings, the fruit was super fresh, and both the açaí and the pirulín were just right 🙌 not too runny, not too frozen. The staff was warm and friendly, and the place had a cozy vibe where you could sit down while you wait for your order or relax, and enjoy your bowl in the place. They have parking but is limited.
It’s definitely one of my favorite spots for açaí. I absolutely loved it!“
