“Food is well priced and the atmosphere very pleasant.
Staff are very friendly and the shop has a lovely rustic feel.
The location is safe and I did not feel anxious leaving my car with all my belongings on the side street.“

“Nice cafe with a good selection of drinks and food right off the main thoroughfare. Upon walk in you are able to see a menu showcasing all of their drinks and food. They have acai bowls, a huge assortment of pastries, crepes, etc. everything has Brazilian flair which was cool. We ordered acai bowls which are big for their size and jam packed full of fresh fruit. Honestly, one of the best acai bowls I’ve had, presentation wise and taste wise. The coffees were also good, but nothing spectacular. The light pastry we ordered was very good and fluffy. You can see the assortment of pastries as you go through the check out, as it’s a bit like a school lunch line. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a trendy but quiet spot to have a good meal and a cup of coffee.“

“That Captain Crunch Burrito was so good we went twice in a row to get it.

Fantastic breakfast, everything looked extremely good as we had the please to sit with perfect views of the kitchen the second time.

The burrito was a delight and the hot sauce with it amazing. Great experience overall!“

“This was the most comforting pad see ew I’ve had in a long time, right by Salesforce Tower.

It came with:

1. A generous amount of broccoli, so the noodles had adult supervision
2. Bok choy! Actual leafy greens voluntarily attending dinner
3. Plenty of tofu, because apparently we are meeting our protein goals now

I ordered noodles expecting comfort food and somehow received protein, vegetables, fiber, and emotional stability. If pad see ew has ever qualified as a balanced meal, this was it.“

“I went here over the weekend on a Saturday around 12:30pm and there was a good amount of people dining there at the time, but no wait. They have a bunch of large tables inside this restaurant and they sell a large variety of brunch and Asian fusion breakfast items!

Anyways, we got the Iced Butterfly Lychee Fizz, Thai Milk Tea, Vietnamese Dalgona Coffee, Orange Mimosa, Banana French Toast Combo, Spicy Bacon Benedict, Fried Chicken & Waffle, and the Bo Luc Lac. Out of the items we tried, the Iced Butterfly Lychee Fizz was my favorite drink because of how pretty and refreshing it was, while the Spicy Bacon Benedict was my favorite entree since it wasn’t too messy.

I’d recommend this place! I loved everything I tried that day and I like how large the portion sizes here are too!“

“I work in this neighborhood and have been going to Caffe Central for almost 10 years. I’m an espresso drinker and here they make exceptional espresso drinks and shots. While you are waiting you can see what everything looks like and it’s all delicious. I’m addicted to the salted caramel brownie which recently I’ve been very good about resisting. On the healthy side the salads are huge and well balanced with greens and toppings. I’m not a sandwich person but they look great. Among the staff are several people who have been there for years and I’ve met the owner a few times and he’s a gentleman. Anyway, I love this place and you willl too.“

I grew up on this place and was incredibly disappointed when I visited HK thinking they’d be better. Baked pork chop or pork cutlet or minced beef rice. Don’t order anything else.“

“The donuts here are out of this world good. Especially the apple fritters, cinnamon buns, and crumb cake donut. And the coffee is really good too. Not too strong and bitter. Just right.

The staff is always friendly and helpful and quick with a smile.

There are tons of other breakfast and lunch offerings from the grill but when they have the best donuts in SF, and quite possibly the world, why try anything else. I have lived in 16 countries on 3 continents, and travelled to dozens more, and the donuts here are by far the best I have ever had.

The place is a hot spot for breakfast and lunch but as the staff is so efficient and helpful you never have to wait long.

I gave the atmosphere a 5 star because if you come to a traditional, old style, American artisan donut emporium and expect something other than basic accoutrements, you’re in the wrong place. The place is not chi-chi or frou-frou, but it is down home, comfortable and clean.“

“A hidden gem in plain sight... Step back into a latin themed space, you could be in Cuba, Mexico or Guatemala. Great menu with American classics for breakfast and lunch and a whole Guatemalan menu to complement. You cannot go wrong, be adventurous and try a Guatemalan dish, you won't be disappointed! Attentive but low key service, be patient and enjoy your stay. Huevos rancheros are delicious, Mexican or Guatemalan style.“

“Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious: NY steak(medium), pancakes, crispy hasbrowns, over easy eggs. I asked for onions and bell peppers on my corned beef hash and it was amazing.
