“We stopped in to try their Kouign Amann. It was flaky, buttery, and had a nice carmel on the bottom. I understand why its considered one of the best in LA. We also got a quiche Lorraine. Unfortunately, even after 5-10 minutes back in the oven it was still ice cold. We each had a bite and threw the rest out. We have had much better elsewhere. They had a line out the door, the whole first 30 minutes they were open. They had 2 small tables inside and one outside.“

“Copenhagen Pastry is a gem. I love the Scandinavian simplicity of the design — elegant, bright, and welcoming both inside and out. The Princess Cake was absolutely outstanding — soft sponge, perfectly balanced custard and raspberry jam, and that light almond layer on top was perfection. The owner was very attentive, and the service was smooth and genuine. You can feel the care in every detail.“

“Everything I've had from here has been extraordinary. My favorite was a croissant-muffin filled with raspberry creme. Magical. The textures are perfect without being greasy. The savory treats are excellent, too. Note: I had no luck trying to find the Palms location. Best to go to the Maisan Macha stand at the Mar Vista farmer's market on Sundays. “Endless options for vegans here. I got there just after noon on Sunday and they still had all of their vegan pastries available. Sadly I was just visiting so wasn’t able to try more hut the Almond Croissant was perfect to have with their latte with oat milk and in house syrup.“

“A friend ordered cookies for me from Jungle Bakes as a gift, and they were very well-packaged (none of them were damaged, which was a feat considering how buttery and delicate they are), beautifully decorated, and delicious. Highly recommend!“

“The goal was to look for a nice cake at a good price since the cake wasn’t going to be the center of attention. I showed Joanie some examples of some cakes I thought were beautiful but I was sure it would be too expensive to do. She helped me alter the design we picked just a little bit to stay on budget and let me tell you, this cake was PERFECT. We even placed it next to the champagne tower to display it for all to see. Not only did it look pretty but it also just tasted delicious. While the cake was meant to be an area we were trying to save money and keep our expectation low, it turned out completely opposite and we ended up with an absolutely beautiful cake at an incredible price. Thank you!! My only regret is not getting to eat more!“
