“I was in LA a couple of weeks ago on business and found this spot the day before leaving and that's my biggest regret. Wish we'd found it the first day we we're there I'd have been eating there everyday. The food and atmosphere are excellent and a live DJ playing music we all grew up on (can you dig it ✊?). “100/10. My son has been practically begging me to bring him to L.A. to try this food. Let me tell you the 2 1/2 hr drive was definitely worth it. He ordered the jerk chicken and it came with double mac & cheese, rice and peas,plantains and a drink (Kool-Aid) all this was $30.00 definitely a steal. The jerk chicken had the perfect blend of seasoning with the perfect amount of heat a little more sauce was needed the sauce is soooo good definitely needed more, mac & cheese a tad bit dry flavor was good, rice and peas are good, the plantains were perfect not overly sweet, Kool-aid had the perfect amount of sugar and tartness overall 100/10. Definitely coming back when in the area.“

“This was my first place. The sandwiches are ridiculously delicious. The focaccia bread for the sandwich is the best and the apricot tart was super delicious. Worth the stop.

“Absolutely the finest Soul Food. You don't want to skip this place. I had the lunch portion of the Oxtail and chose the Candied Yams and Mac and Cheese as sides. It came with 2 Cornbread Muffins. It was all delicious and filling. I ordered the Coconut Pineapple Cake for Dessert. It filled the container. See the picture. Totally Recommend this place.“

“Our family of 5--parents + kids 22, 19 and 13--had Fatburger on our "must do" list for LA. We wanted to eat inside, but they were only serving through the drive-thru so...drive-thru it was. The wife and I don't eat beef so we each got the Fatburger w/Impossible patty. The kids got the Classic Fatburger. Fries all around of course. The car was filled with smacks, slurps and mmmms. Good burgers! Now the fries could have used more seasoning but the burgers were slappin'!“

“I checked out Charlie's Fish N Chips. Got the Red Snapper and Shrimp combo, both deep fried. Came with Fries, a dinner roll and a salad. The Fish and Shrimp were hittin', the Fries weren't hot. Staff was cool and efficient. I would go here again 100.“

“Literally, my favorite fried chicken spot to order from. It’s perfectly crispy, the chicken is juicy, and the flavor is intoxicating. Love it. Pretty sure I’m addicted. My doctor hates this aspect of my diet but I can’t stop devouring the flesh of ancestral dinosaurs. I’ve even shared the chicken during pregamings and everyone who had some asked for more. Nearly keeping us in.“
