“Great drinks, delicious food, the most ADDICTIVE CHIPS and guacamole- I promise you won't be able to stop at one order so walk your 25k steps before you make reservations! Our server was so pleasant and engaging and the entire staff that day 3/21 @6pm was awesome includingthe valet as we left! I forgot to get names, hence why I gave the date we were here:) I had the best quesadilla and my husband ordered a chicken and a carne Asada taco...DELICIOUS!“

“We had a fantastic birthday dinner here. Kind of pricey, but that's expected with elevated Indian food. We ordered the bacon & date Kulcha as well as the spinach & Mozzarella to start. Bacon and date was by far the better or the two. Then we shared the scallops (a hit!) and sweet potato Chaat (delish). Out of our 3 mains we enjoyed the chicken Korma best then the short ribs and aloo Gobi were tied. Interestingly they used broccoli instead of cauliflower for the Gobi and the potatoes had amazing flavor. Our only complaint was the noise level got to be extremely loud and it wasn't even a full house. Be prepared. We would definitely go again though.“

We took two friends for a belated birthday dinner (and as the staff realized it was just that, they even rewarded us with a delicious birthday dessert :-). “First, my wife loved it. I thought it was ok. The kitchen was stretched. The waitress really didn't explain the menu. This was Americanized tapas. Too much food, no space between tables making it too crammed and no privacy. This was Valentines after all. And there's the nut, what is it like on a normal night? “We went here on a date night and booked online reservations last minute. Literally 30min prior. Valet parking only in the lot $10. Place was very cute and intimate. We were seated right away. We first ordered the Boquerone en Jardinera (White Anchovies w/ Bell Peppers Scallions & Lemon). Which was probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. As far as the rest of the items, I’ll list below. My wife and I felt that everything was very heavy on the salt. Now, we love seasoned food. But the salt, you have to know when to stop. Almost inedible. We were also recommended some wine to pair with some of the food items and the wine was amazing. The other items were;
Creamy Artichoke
Chickpeas Tahini Lemon Black Sesame Seeds. (Super salty, but came with the perfect flat bread)
Ancient Grain & Radicchio
Pecorino Romano Mint Market Vegetables
Lemon Dressing Walnuts (this could’ve done without the mint leaves, very bitter, but maybe they could’ve added some candied walnuts or pomegranate seeds to lighten it up)
Albondigas
Spanish Inspired Beef Meatballs
(The sauce was very good, still salty but the meat balls were little balls of salt)

We ended the night with the best flan we have had. Orange flan with pistachio. The combination was defiantly unexpected but worked beautifully.

Over all, I think there is a lot of potential, I just wish they had held back on the salt that night.“

“The food and service were awesome. However, I did order a latke and caviar but didn’t get it nor was I charged. I guess it was missed somehow. Either way we had more than enough food. “I cannot say enough of the five star service Ernesto provided. We were waiting for the shuttle to take us to the airport. It was 10 mins late, then 15 mins late. I asked the gentleman at the front desk to inquire but he was not helpful at all. Just said he will be there. I expressed my concern that we had an international flight to catch. I was so frustrated by this front desk man's customer service I told my husband we should call an Uber. Meanwhile we already paid for the hotel shuttle. Ernesto overheard my frustration. Called the bus to find out it wouldn't be coming there was an issue. He refunded us for our shuttle we paid for and also paid for our Uber. It was Four Seasons customer service, over and beyond exceeded our expectations! You should be so lucky to have a person like Ernesto. The other gentleman needs to go back to learning customer service skills and hospitality! Go Ernesto!“

It’s still a little sweet and a little effervescence. Love me a 7% ABV with a seltzer! Very cozy fun vibes. Comfortable bar seating as well as comfortable booth seating. Nice little outdoor patio and then an area to play games at your hearts content! Pool table inside ping-pong, table, and foosball table outside. Darts board games you name it very cozy couch and tables out on the patio as well. Partially covered. Alistair was very attentive to my friend, but didn’t seem to feel compelled to take care of me lol. A lot of fun eye candy on the walls. Vintage goodies. Will definitely be back.“

“Food and service were fine; we would consider return visits. However, indoor dining was much to noisy, we could barely hear each other talk over the din...painfully noisy because I had to adjust my hearing aids to the max volume using the restaurant noise reduction setting just to hear bits and pieces of intelligible conversation. Otherwise, I would only be able to hear noise. It took a few hours after leaving for my hearing to recover. We would only return during warmer weather so we could sit outside, where there's not the sound bouncing off of all the hard surfaces.“

“This has been our favorite sushi in the neighborhood for years and years. Their fish is incredible and all of the items are made with care. I especially love the wide variety of fish options and specials. The staff is very friendly, especially with regard to our son, and always give him a little extra attention.“

“FURAIBO GARDENA: I discovered just before to move to Cabo. I went everyday ( memorial WE) after this first visit. Food is divine, chicken wings are not to compare with the usual chicken wings, it is a delicacy. The first day we had an unbelievable friendly and attentive waitress, she knew all our nephews and nieces for 25 years. An exceptional person with rare qualities. I recommend this restaurant and as soon I have to be in LA I will. of course go every day I am in LA. Bravo for the chef, the people, the ambiance. I miss it every day.“

Katsu curry rice is very good here (katsu pork was prepared perfectly and curry flavorful) as well as their gyudon (beef over rice). “I had a great experience at Anju House in Koreatown. I ordered the jjampong soup and it was amazing — super fresh and full of flavor. I also tried the seafood fried rice, which is one of my favorites, and it did not disappoint. The asado was perfectly cooked, very soft, and really flavorful. “Let's TACO bout this hidden gem taco spot with tacos so good TU MADRE would love them too!

As someone who's tried a wide spectrum of taco spots from street stands to Michelin, I was pleasantly surprised (and honestly a little salty it took me this long) to discover @tacostumadre right in my own neighborhood. This festive, casual spot specializes in modern Mexican fusion, with innovative culinary takes on Mexican cuisine starting from their iconic fried chicken taco. With over a dozen different protein and plant-based options that you can order as a taco, burrito or bowl, there's definitely something for everyone on their menu.

I stopped by the Westwood location, but there's also locations in Brentwood, Santa Monica, Weho, Larchmont and Los Feliz. It was really easy to find street parking around that area on the weekend at lunchtime, but they also have a $5 valet lot next to the restaurant. Service was SO nice, and I really appreciated how they took the time to quickly yet meticulously prepare every dish + gave me free chips and salsa with my order.
