“Even though this is a pizza place, the hamburgers here are outstanding; all the food is great, but the hamburgers are my favorite. Early Friday evening I was in a long line to pick up my to-go order (Aggie hamburgers). Tiffany at the cashier’s counter was friendly, efficient, helpful and incredibly service oriented despite the long line. Her extra service and kindness were dispatched very quickly (not holding up the line) and were VERY appreciated. Will come back again with service like Tiffany’s.“

“A nice spot here in Davis by the Regal movie theatre. Their sushi bowls are good. They have a regular size (~$15) and a mini poke bowl for (~11). The sushi burrito are solid as well.

Recently tried their salmon pokes and they are all solid and delicious. With the poke, you can choose white rice, brown rice, or spring mix. If you don't like fish, i think they have some other items on the menu like spam masubi and others.

There is usually sitting inside, and 2-3 tables outside. They have the typical hawaiian can drinks, and the service is good. If it's not busy you will get your food in less than 5 minutes. Parking is never an issue here- plenty of street parking. Enjoy!“

“Where do I start? I was new to the Davis foodie scene, but I came across Ding How and my mind was BLOWN. My partner and I both love vegan food, and was shocked to find Ding How had an entire vegan menu. Our go-tos are the Chin Ju chicken, Sesame chicken, Szechwan beef and a house chow mein! I always try to venture out of our favorites but.. they’re just so good to not get a second time! ? The staff are super patient, and friendly. They greet us so kindly upon entering and always check on us if we are dining inside. Oh! I forgot to mention that the lunch special is superior (especially when I’m on a budget and still want a hefty plate) but make sure you order before 3pm! Major shoutout to Ding How!!!!!!!!!!! “Yet is a small, clean family owned sit-down Nepalese/Indian restaurant. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining. They have a ton of vegetarian options on their menu and many vegan options too. They have a separate lunch menu if you’re unsure of what to order and want to try a little bit of everything. My favorite dishes here are the Mis-Mas Vegetables (Vegan), Nepalese Samosas (Vegan), Paneer Tikka Masala (Vegetarian), Vegetable MoMos (Vegetarian) and Vegetable Biryani (Vegetarian), and Naan (Vegan upon request). I typically ask for the curries to be prepared spicy as the food here is generally on the milder side. Everything is packed with flavor and the portion is plentiful; there’s even some to take home as leftovers. Food is a bit on the pricey side. However, the entrees do come with rice which is rare for Indian restaurants nowadays. I would definitely recommend Yeti to satisfy your Indian food cravings.“

“This was my first time eating here. It was very noisy inside, so we opted for take-out. I ordered a 240 on dutch crunch bread. It was okay, but there were a couple pieces of gristle in the meat and I would have liked a bit more sauce. Also, the menu said it had cheese, but my sandwich didn't appear to have any.
My friends ordered the 13 and 309.
Both were disappointed by the small portion of "meat". One was disappointed that the gluten free bread wasn't toasted, which can greatly improve the flavor of gluten free bread.“

“Having had the pleasure of eating street tacos up and down the coast from Baja to the Mission, I will say that these are… fine. Al Pastor were a bit better than Carne Asada, but both meats were room temp, nowhere near hot, and the corn tortillas were straight from the bag, not heated at all. Taste was pretty good and portions plentiful.

Chicken burrito was good; meat was freshly stewed and hot; more rice than necessary, good beans, and the salsa bar inside has a rainbow of options.

It’s popular and the patio is mostly shaded and wonderful.

Parking: Next to a grocery store, in a strip mall, you can park anywhere.“

They seat you, bring you water, ask for your order, bring it, and leave you alone to enjoy your food. If they see your water is low, they will come fill it. I say "they", but really there is typically one waitress who handles all the tables and checks. If you need anything else, you catch her eye or go ask her at the counter. Personally, I love this type of service. If you don't, well, you should still try the food, but maybe temper your expectations before you go.The food is delicious and served in big portions. I can't usually finish a bowl of soup in one sitting. Pro tip: if you have leftover soup, but maybe too many noodles for the remaining broth or vice versa, you can order an extra serving of noodles or broth to take home.The chow mein isn't traditional American Chinese chow mein - it's more like a garlic noodle stir fry. And it's delicious.I like most of the vegetarian dishes I've had there. If you want more protein, you can ask to add tofu to any soup.Their veggie appetizers are also good, but my favorite is not listed on the menu - the vegetarian pot stickers. Perfectly crispy and chewy, they come with a filling of mushrooms, glass noodles, and minced vegetables and a dipping sauce. The only appetizer I haven't enjoyed was the fried tofu. I only tried it once, though (the potstickers are my favorite) and I give restaurants two shots before giving a solidly negative review on any item in case it was just a one-off event. It was the only disappointing item I've ever received from them, so I'm looking forward to trying it again. (I'll update this review when that happens.)All in all, this is one of my top 5 restaurants in Davis. It's what I crave when I'm sick, or if I just want a quiet lunch with a comforting bowl of soup (with leftovers!). I love this place.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of this Hunan restaurant. I ordered four dishes in total, and the overall quality exceeded my expectations. The Changsha stinky tofu was the first time I’ve experienced such authentic stinky tofu in the entire US. Although it was listed under the cold dishes, it was actually served hot. The tofu was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The rice noodles were also exceptional, especially considering the price range. The pork intestines were prepared nicely as well. I must say, students in this area are fortunate to have access to such an authentic Chinese restaurant at a relatively reasonable price.“

So we gave it a try since it was across from temple coffee which was the plan to get some coffee after lunch..We walked in and they still have the fake coconut trees so yay. The layout is cozy with comfy grey chairs. The esthetic is great inside. Just a little crowded because of limited space..Bun rieu - I ordered it and I loved it. It wasn't too salty. I loved the pork meatballs in it. The soup hit the spot for the bright sunny day..Beef pho - according to my friend it was good. It was a little salty. Can't go wrong with a classic beef pho..Bun xieo - Crispy egg pancake. The size was big and lots of veggies came with it. If your craving some salad or refresh dish or a dish to share, this is the one. It was light too packed with flavors..Overall service was ok. They came to refill water. Sometimes we ask them something but there is no reply but they bring you the things you asked. Just they don't tell you they hear you. “Tasty Palace is the best Chinese in town, bar none. It's authentic northern Chinese cuisine, so it's spicy. Lots of people expecting Panda Express will be disappointed. But if you want an authentic and very tasty Chinese dining experience, this is the best game in town.

I recommend nearly every seafood dish, the tofu, the lamb... It's all great. Be forewarned -- it's not boring. It's full of flavor.

Reasonable prices too considering portion size. Nearly every dish can easily be shared between two people.
