Character buns were fun and tasty, although in hindsight the Nutella bunny wasn’t as tasty as the other options. Overall great place would go again. One thing to note about this very cool location is you can hear the sea lions, and if the wind blows the wrong direction you may smell the sea lions briefly, so if you are sensitive to that eating inside may be preferred. Their outdoor seating in lovely though and they have heaters so it was still a very nice place to sit“

“This is going to be my poke spot. The portion was so generous. I don’t know what mammoth size poke bowl people are used to but I was stuffed after getting a regular. The fish, the avocado - everything was so fresh. The server recommended the eel sauce which was so umami and delicious.“

We ended up our meal with black gold lava bun. It was presented nicely. The custard somehow has grains texture in it. I was expecting it to be smooth and silky.

“Came here for the nori fish sandwich because I saw Philip's TikTok. The fry was perfect and it tasted heavily of nori which I appreciate. It needs a little bit of acidity to cut the fatiness of the fish and sauce. Imagine if the onions were pickled instead then it would be perfect. The smell of the popcorn chicken in the air was all consuming but I was too full to order that one. The sesame milk was so grainy. That's probably expected but at the same time it probably shouldn't be made into a drink. It tastes like the inside of a sesame ball so it tasted like too much after a couple sips. You definitely need to order it as 0% sweetness. The hojicha latte was pretty forgettable.“
