“I like the cookies. But the last time I went to Crumbl, we walked in and waited for six minutes. The worker in the store totally ignored us. Finally, we tried the self-checkout, but the credit card reader wasn’t working. So we waited for five more minutes. She still ignored us. Finally, we got her attention, and we had to enter the credit card number manually.

I only gave it four stars because the worker could tell we were upset, so she gave us a free cookie. Also, $5.50 for one cookie?!“

“I was nervous about the flavors, mostly because I didn’t know what they were! But was able to taste test and decided on the Quattroberry and stracciatella. Delicious! Great price- $6.50 for two big scoops! Definitely wanted to go back. Try the dragon fruit/lemon one- super tart and so good!“

“The Salt and Straw at One Paseo in Del Mar was a stop we made on a “girls weekend” in San Diego. We’d like to thank Shahin who greeted us with warmth, enthusiasm and proudly served us samples until we made our final choices. He appeared sincere and listened intently to our own ice cream stories (what better place to share favorite flavors than an ice cream shop!) Shahin gets our award for BEST SERVICE EVER!“

“Conveniently located right next to where we had BBQ, Sunday Ice Cream was an easy and sweet stop after dinner. The shop has tons of creative Asian-inspired flavors that caught our eye right away — from sesame to matcha to taro. We tried the sesame ice cream, and it was creamy, rich, and awesomely delicious. The place was packed but the line moved quickly, and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Parking, on the other hand, was a bit of a hassle. The area is super busy, so we ended up parking in a nearby paid garage — not too bad for the convenience. Overall, a fun and tasty experience, especially if you’re into Asian-style flavors and want a nice treat after your meal!“

“Stopped by McConnell’s yesterday, ice cream was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. They also offer vegan and organic options. I sampled the chili lime mango sorbet, which was refreshing and delicious, but this time I was in the mood for ice cream. I got the Chocolate Covered Strawberries flavor which was absolutely delicious! Joe brought it out from inside and his friendly service made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be back!“

“This place has been wonderful. The flavors are always rotating but I'm always sticking to an original - vanilla with gummy worms and popping boba. Best times to visit are summer, fall, winter, and spring. ALL YEAR!
I am treated with the same exceptional service every visit, specifically by Kris, the manager. Go only if you see the purple Miata in the parking lot, that car is an indication that the legend himself is on shift.

“You can go just about anywhere and find a FroYo shop with a wide variety of flavors and toppings. What really makes Yogurt World UCSD special is the service and the atmosphere. Both times I have gone here with my daughters, we have been treated like important guests and made to feel welcome. The owner even gave little duck toys to each of my daughters, which made their day. He even took an interest in my story, which I truly appreciated.

“We ordered the White pizza and added chicken, and also ordered the Lasagna pizza. Both pizzas were very good but I think the lasagna was my favorite.
The restaurant is clean and neat with plenty of seating both inside and out.
The staff is very friendly and greater us when we came in.
This is the type of place you order at the counter and they bring you the food. The pop/ soft drinks are coke products and they a serve you cans and not fountain drinks. They also have 5 gelato flavors that look great but I didn’t try them this time.

“Somisomi is a great spot in a busy Mira Mesa strip mall, known for its smooth soft serve and warm, chewy taiyaki (fish-shaped waffle).

We spent $15 for five flavor-filled taiyaki (Nutella, custard, and sesame) and a cup of their beautiful purple and green ube/matcha soft serve. The taiyaki had a thin, crisp outer crunch and moist inner dough, while the tall swirl of soft serve was smooth and creamy.

The service is friendly and efficient, and they keep the line moving. Note that while there's plenty of free parking, the entire mall is very popular and often busy.
