“lovely shop. they have the most delicious flavors and best decor. the lady that works at rock n roll scoops is friendly and knows her ice cream. so many great flavors. homemade waffle cones, a ton of delicious flavors and lots of popsicles. I love the music and videos they play. lots of Frankie valli and four seasons and selena. excellent decor. where did they get a giant yellow m & m wearing a sombrero? a giant parrot l, Betty boop. so cool! my lady love going there“

I hate to give a not good review. But my family and I were very excited to try this place. My 9 year old daughter tried her Oreo slush first and she said mom, it tastes like water, it’s not very tasty at all. I thought she’s only being picky but then I tried mine my Cheesy Ube Slush too and I feel the same way. So as my husband. We ordered them around 7pm. Maybe we just got there at the wrong time. My husband said he feels like we wasted our $20. Just so sad it’s not as tasty as we were hoping for.“

“This Handel's location is so perfect, as my kids have frequented it after we've watched shows at the AVO, as well as when they were actual performers at the AVO. That being said, the line can get pretty long after a performance. However, the staff moved through customers quickly, and our latest cashier, Briana, was so kind. She made sure we felt important and apologized for the long line (even though it wasn't her fault). She was patient when my youngest still could not decide on a treat even after waiting for so long. She made the stress a mom could feel after the experience in a long line with young ones feel minimal with her empathetic care for us. Handel's is lucky to have her representing their business. And I would recommend coming to this Handel's whenever you come to downtown Vista and watch a show at the AVO.“

Sausage Egg & Cheese on a Croissant

Great, I took it for carry out & enjoyed at home & it held up.

Coffee, I got a drip coffee, I say the sandwich was the star.

I also ordered sprinkle donuts & some old fashioned bars.

They have alot to offer menu wise, i say sandwiches & donuts are their strong points.

I didnt see frozen yogurt yet but maybe they switch to the yogurt in the afternoons????

“Super cute spot with lots of variety!! I had the churro cup, hot cheeto esquite, and sprite preparada. All was super yummy and i really appreciate them including a special long spoon for the churro cup :). Would recommend and will be coming back to try other menu items 🩷“

“Stopped in with my two kids and had a really good experience. The staff was friendly and patient while the kids took their time deciding, which I really appreciated. Everything was clean and well organized, and the ice cream was fresh, creamy, and made exactly how we ordered it. You can tell the place is well managed and that customer service matters. “Great ice cream choices. They have water and milk based ice cream. Strawberries with cream is a great choice. They also have Tortas which are huge filled with meat. I like the place parking may be difficult but worth it. I've been coming for years and now I bring my kids and they love it too.“

“My kids loved getting the old school ice cream with gums for eye balls. The huge room for seating was pretty cool. I was a bit disappointed that the ice cream wasn't homemade. The paletas didn't seem homemade either. Still a nice spot too, I think especially for locals.“

“Best Mocha w/almond milk I have had as San Diego resident so far! Service is personal, cordial, friendly with a touch of beach vibe mood. I like my mocha extra hot and it was perfection! (Made with own organic chocolate and almond milk powder) 😍
Nice seating options and great music variety with a touch of European sound. Volume was perfect for chatting, reading or just chilling! I would highly recommend to try it! We’ll be back for sure!“

“This is by far my most favorite Mexican ice cream shop especially for their popsicles. The downside is now with summer here their popsicle selection is very fast moving and often they are out of a lot. It has made it so I have had to shop at some different ice cream shops to fulfill my families need for Mexican Popsicles. I really prefer coming here the people are nice it's closer to my house but there on and off good selection is definitely a problem. I'm just putting it out there cause I hope you guys work on it because I think if you get more consistency and what you have you'll be able to do much more business and people won't get turned off and start going elsewhere. If you want to do it the right way you got to have it in stock got a think proactive and I think you guys can and will do just great . A Mexican ice cream shop that doesn't have mango or pineapple Popsicles in stock is headed for extreme trouble be careful you guys.
