“Oct 2026 •• I've eaten here a handful of times in the last couple of months, and never had a bad experience! The service has always been top notch - they're very accommodating especially with my elderly parents (in wheelchair and walker) even on busy nights.
This weekend, I notice that there were a lot of multi-generational families eating and it was nice to see. Food is great and reasonably priced (as reasonable as it is with prices right now). A lot of standout in food: pot roast, the small plates and appetizers, among others.

“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

“Really enjoyed the food! Very busy place on a Friday night, we had to wait a half hour for a table. The service was great, though, and the place was very clean. Food was very good, and I find it to be a great value getting soup and salad included in the cost of an entree.

“We stumbled upon this establishment while visiting Pomona for a BMW event. The reviews don't lie. The burgers were amazing, juicy, tasty and delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating -especially Dario, he took his time to explain their cooking process, how the patties are made, and even went over all the sauces with us. “I went into this Denny’s location and was graciously welcomed by fantastic associate by the name of David. David allowed my partner and I to choose our own seats and as we sat he had gone over the new promotions available that we could make use of. As I proceeded to order David pointed out that my desired meal was actually available under the promotion and advised me to take up on that for a better bang for my buck. David also pointed out that if we were not currently rewards members another item we asked for could be given free as a reward if we signed up, yet again saving us some money. As we dined inside, David continuously checked on us making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal with such a wonderful attitude. HOT foods in salad bar are also fresh...really. ice cream machine with all the fixings . Including whip cream if that is your thing. Because it is mine. The service is on point. Waitresses are very aware if you need them. My compliments to the manager for being a great leader...because you have great employees. It truly shows in every aspect. Can't wait to be back. “It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

“Went on a Thursday for date night with the wife. Live music was great. The restaurant was slow but we had a reservation. The service was very slow although they were not busy. Food was tasty but pricey for what you get. We had the Caesar salad to start, Mongolian beef (good but not a large portion of beef with lots of rice for $32), shrimp tacos were on the smallest street taco tortillas I have seen. Drinks and desert were good. Cool vibe and atmosphere.“

“My rating is mainly for the pies. I've always loved MC's pies but so many restaurants have shut down, unfortunately 😕 And sad to say, (but i certainly hope not) this one is not far behind. So again, i only stopped in for a delicious pie to take to a dinner party.. I chose a coconut cream after going over the pie menu on the wall ... over and over and over. So many great options and i had alot of time to choose since the counter person was taking a customer payment. I also had a chance to peek around the place and you could obviously tell it was aged and dingy. Not really kept up like the old time Marie's used to look. There seemed to be a good amount of customers for a Wednesday evening around 5pm. The counter girl was courteous and efficient and got me taken care of, as a line started gathering behind me. This was my first time here but im gonna make it a point to return for lunch or dinner, maybe both. Just to support and patronize as much as possible. Hope the food is as good as i remember. “Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM.
