Second my son waited 10 minutes after the rest of our order was delivered, just to find out they ran out of bacon!! “Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

Michael our server came out and created us, by saying it was so nice to see you here again. Michael remember our drink order and promtly brought it out to us. “OMG the food and service is excellent here. Alex aka waiter from beginning to end was not just a great waiter. But a super cool young man as well. Kenos needs more waiters/waitresses like him. I got a Pork Chop with mashed potatoes and gravy, very well seasoned broccoli with carrots. For 🍨 a hot fudge sundae. Everything was delicious. Definitely coming back. “I've been getting bean and cheese burritos for a while now but Wednesday I ordered two bean and cheese burritos as usual with cilantro and onions and pico de gallo plus I decided I would try there breakfast burrito (sausage eggs and cheese). Bean and cheese burritos no cilantro no no onions and the sausage egg and cheese breakfast burrito was no egg no sausage but plenty of potatoes rolled up as a breakfast burrito but charged as a breakfast burrito. that had to be deliberately done. I don't know what I did to piss off cook but I got the message.“

“Hen & Heifer was great. My wife and I had lunch here around 1:00 during the week. There were a handful of people dining, but now one in line. The staff was extremely friendly and gave us great information about the menu. We had our food brought out to us in about 10 minutes. The food was amazing. You can tell they make their hamburger patties fresh and use a good quality of meat and a good meat to fat ratio. The burgers were extremely flavorful and juicy. We also share a side of fries that were delicious. We will be returning.“

Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

“Love Summit House! It's perfect for celebrations because the location is so special with views from a hilltop. To top it off, the food is excellent and the staff is lovely - we felt very catered to and it was just my husband and I for our anniversary. The prime rib is what I usually come for and it is the best! And they have a cocktail called "Soul Mate Sour" which was a fun one to get for our anniversary. We will be back!“

Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “I got the Mongolian beef, extra spicy. It was tasty, but 85% rice, and was actually a little sweet not spicy. They merely threw more whole red chili's but nobody actually eats whole Chinese red chili's.

My friend got the swordfish, and opted out of the rice and upgraded to double string beans, didn't look like they doubled it.She said there's no hint of flavor on the beans, like they were simply boiled. She did like the caper sauce on the fish but had to ask for more.

Both dishes were lunch sized portions with dinner pricing, but there's live music (Friday 7pm), so just realize that it's less of a restaurant than a fine whiskey bar with food.“

“Took the thanksgiving turkey meal to go and overall it was a pretty good platter set up. The turkey was moist and the gravy was flavorful. The cornbread was a bit on the drier side and then the vegetables were pretty bland, but the sauce helped.“
