“I decided to order some Tonkatsu from Ginkgo Katsu, on a food delivery app based on the good reviews. Thankfully the reviews were on-point this time! The Katsu arrived in this kind of fancy, big box with the meal in different sections - the Tonkatsu, rice, cabbage salad, Katsu sauce; then separately was the curry sauce (I ordered extra), pickled veggies, dressing. Everything was delicious with generous portions. I would most definitely get a meal from Ginkgo Katsu, again and again“

I liked the broth in their ramen — super flavorful and comforting. The California roll was fresh and hit the spot. I also tried the cream wonton; it was just okay, but came out really hot, straight from the kitchen.

The place was busy, but service was fast and smooth. Everyone was friendly, and the food didn’t take long to come out.

Super decadent, generous with the sauce (you can request a small scoop of rice for free afterwards to finish off the sauce), great noodle texture, amazing taste!! The first bite was heaven.

Looks small at first but that’s just because the bowl is big/I was struggling to finish halfway through.

“My husband and I have tried ramen in both Japan and Korea. We couldn't forget the rich and creamy pork bone broth of tonkotsu and miso ramen, so we decided to check out this restaurant, and the broth is simply a masterpiece. For Koreans, this could even be a perfect hangover soup after a night of drinking. The broth is top-notch. We went during lunch, and the prices were very reasonable. “Saw a picture of the Yakisoba Katsu sandwich and I had to have one! It was awesome! The Katsu was crispy and the meat tender. In short it was perfect! (not dry at all!) the yakisoba noodles was a nice addition as it absorbed the tonkatsu sauce and the cole slaw dressing! I also loved the brioche bread! A perfect touch. The sandwich was delicious and not like anything I have tasted before! This with a side of the curry fries! (YUM!) I'll definitely be back for more!“

The place was clean and the food was delicious. I had the salt & pepper shrimp and my husband had the kung pao. I have to admit that when we walked in, I had my doubts. The place was empty and there were boxes stacked up in the dining area. Most likely bz they just got supplies but it didn't do much for the atmosphere. However, the gentleman who served us was very nice and didn't overly bug us. He would keep an eye to see if we were low on drinks but was not hovering. This is something I always appreciate. He noticed I ate all the jalapeño peppers and even let me know I could request it spicier next time. The missing half has very little to do with them or their food.
They are hidden away in a tiny spot so not too easy to find but the worth the effort. I definitely plan to return.“

I'm a regular for their yellowtail nigiri, no wasabi and my family completely adores their Spicy Beef Udon. Sushi tastes pretty fresh, though I recently had their assorted sashimi bowl and the finish tasted a bit...old? Can't put my finger on it but they also forgot the (AMAZING) miso soup that came with it. Bummer but still enjoyed my meal. They also have great customer service :D We went 3-4 times and they were already recognizing our faces.All in all, I truly recommend. Great during non-COVID but their food is still great to-go. Maybe they could add the option to take soba to-go though, I'm hung-up on it.“

“I used to come here regularly and my first visit was back in 2001. The food and service has always been great. Mimi had quite the personality and perhaps some might've thought she was rude but I loved the character that she added. I'm not sure if she's still there but I know today I saw Yohan who has always been the most lovely pleasant server ever. I've heard some people tell me that it isn't the same and it has fallen down hill but today I went in with my father and I still enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. “Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. “Wow this place surprised me so much, I went on my birthday it was a Thursday mid day and it was lonely. Not sure if that’s good or not but as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed to a nice beautiful atmosphere.

Open concept, nice design. We were serviced beautifully everything was clean and squeaky clean floors.

Menu was okay to read, but we were able to order a few yummy rolls.

Wow the my favorite was the Vegas roll the combo with the crispy outer layer and the fresh fish on top with avocado with sauce oof it was delicious a must order option!
Everything was delicious and what made the difference was freshness.

I would definitely come here again or order out, but it seems a lot of people order out. Dining in was a great experience and more need to come and experience everything as well at least when they can.

Parking was a bit difficult, one level and easy wheelchair access.
