“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying. “This is my first time going and I was lost I was looking for a standalone restaurant. This is inside a little mini mall atmosphere building I would have never found it if it hadn't been I was meeting a friend. By the way the food the barbecue is awesome it is unbelievably good The meat was just so tender and that barbecue sauce was absolute heaven on earth. I love the atmosphere. It was so nice and cool inside parking was a bit of a nightmare but it was worth it to have lunch at the pit and bull. Bathrooms provided an indoors very clean great atmosphere there's a lot of picnic tables set up where you can pick what restaurant food you want pizza or barbecue or there's a bakery in there that has the most awesome desserts I got a cherry pie and an apple pie They were $9 They were a little mini pies. All I can say is I highly highly did I mention highly recommend this place It is unreal awesome 👍🏽😎“

Tried the Bulgogi Burrito at Marinate Korean BBQ and it was seriously 🔥! The beef was super tender and packed with flavor — savory, a little sweet, and really satisfying. Loved that they use fresh veggies 🥬 and gluten-free grains 🌾, so it feels lighter but still really filling.

The marinade is on point 👌 and you can tell they use good quality ingredients. Plus, it’s such a fun twist on Korean BBQ — perfect for grabbing on the go 🚶‍♂️🌯.

“We visited around 7 PM on Sunday, and although the restaurant was almost full, we were lucky enough to be seated right away without waiting. They don’t take reservations, so depending on the time you may have to wait. For an all-you-can-eat place, the meat was surprisingly delicious. The portions per plate were quite large, but our attentive waiter kindly suggested ordering half portions, which was perfect for us since we don’t eat much. The fresh salad was so tasty that it made us want to eat more. Our waitress was very charming and friendly, which made the experience even better.“

The spread of banchan was plentiful and flavorful, and the BBQ meats were cooked to perfection. Anna took such great care of us—she answered all of our questions and even helped with the grilling, which made the experience extra enjoyable. We never felt rushed and were able to take our time savoring the food and the whole KBBQ experience. I'm a no sauce person and a lot of places can't deliver that "wow" effect when it comes to seasoning. But Rowes seasonings is to perfection. All the sides are fire, my favorite is the potato salad. Plates are well portioned, for a great price. And we ain't gonna talk about the Peach Cobbler??. Gotta get there early tho, because by 3 or 4 some food can be sold, that's just how good it is. “This our first time here. We came at almost closing ( 840pm) but the employee was really nice to accomodate and still help us with the food. We ordered a combo 2 for $29 ( only online) n got it to go since they almost close. The food came out hot and portion is generous, they gave a lot of meat and sides r delish. For a bbq chain this is really good quality. Fries r crispy n well seasoned, mac cheese was good, bbq sauce was delishhh. The toast was soft but crunchy at the same time, very buttery. The meat is so juicy and tender and soft fall off the bone type. I couldnt finish my plate in 1 go n i was pretty hungry! Definitely will be back again :) 9/10“

“I found this new BBQ pop-up in Lakewood at the YMCA and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the kindness of the family that runs it, to the delicious food. Last week I had the 3 meat plate (I chose brisket, pork belly and chicken) which came with 2 sides and it was only $28! The brisket and pork belly were SO tender and juicy and had an amazing flavor! Earlier today I had the one meat plate with chicken, this coleslaw that is probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and their brisket chow mein. So good! Everything is homemade down to the sauces and they have things like burritos and Texas toast brisket grilled cheese. It’s called Axiom Kitchen. Husband, wife and kids and so kind…they made us feel so special. We haven’t had service like that in a long time. I know they are at the Lakewood YMCA on Sundays and I think Fridays and they are at another location on Thursday but I’m not sure where.“

“Super awesome to see, South El Monte has so much Asian foods and they are all delicious. A lot of people in South El Monte love Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese cultures and so the businesses in the area thrive. I also enjoy getting Korean BBQ meats in the South El Monte City or a nice hot meal at the Daikokuya Japanese Ramen place on Garvey. I noticed that a lot of people in Korean Town over in Los Angeles were starting to purchase up commercial real estate and launch businesses in South El Monte. In a recent merger and acquisition of a major grocery store business chain in South El Monte, it had become Korean owned as well and started to add many awesome products such as canned boba drinks. South El Monte is one of the most vibrant, diverse, and sweet pockets of hidden gem Asian foods in California and the San Gabriel Valley. When I go to school on the East Coast, I really miss it.“

“Grading this on a curve of theme park food and, honestly, this ranks as high as it gets for their quick service. I got the ribs, chicken, and corn on the cob and they were all delicious. Maybe a little dry but again this is theme park quick service, so you shouldn't expect anything less. The line is usually pretty long but moves quickly. Plenty of seating, though it is all outside.“

The food has a very distinct flavor profile — not exactly my taste, but my family really enjoyed the variety of dishes. Personally, I only liked the fried rice and tofu skewers. The food itself isn’t bad at all; it’s just got a very unique flavor style that may not suit everyone.

I liked the digital menu and ordering system — it’s convenient — but the food took quite a while to arrive after placing our order. The staff were kind and attentive, which I appreciated. Seating, however, was not very comfortable; the chairs were light and tended to shift even with small movements.“

The singapore noodles were good but the roast pork was a bit dry. I also thought the noodles lacked curry but my husband said it was fine. The portions were HUGE. We ended up taking the rest of the food home. For the price we paid, it was definitely worth it. Waitstaff was quick and courteous.“
