MSG warning. I did not feel it then but about half hour after I started to get an MSG headache. I do have sensitivity—I should have asked but forgot bc many places I have eaten recently do not use.

Chef special Walnut chicken. Superb 5/5
The batter coating was light. No oily greasy feeling or oil absorbed into batter. The honey mayo dressing was also perfect light

Mongolian beef. My husband gave it 4, me 3 stars. Because it was not really Mongolian beef. The correct name would be black pepper beef. It did not taste like Mongolian beef

Kung pao chicken 3 stars was not as good. It was passable. The chicken seemed like it was lightly coated in cornstarch then fried. But it was fried a bit too long bc chi he was very dry. Also the sauce was not great. Tasted also a bit in the burnt side. I like smoky but burnt not great. See pic. I like tre chicken more lightly cooked so it’s still a bit soft and juicy. Sauce also too burnt

We had ordered sesame chicken on a bed orange slices do taste s little like orange chicken. Delicious 4.5/5 stars

I've been here twice and have tried the fresh shrimp and tofu spring rolls with terrific accompanying sauce, flavorful chicken fried rice, shrimp pho with delicious broth, and the lovely Lychee fruit tea! Yum! Totally coming here again... and bringing more friends. Mangosteen has a clean, modern atmosphere, primarily indoors with a couple of outdoor tables. Friendly and helpful customer service.“

“I am not a big fan of mariscos. This is one of the best mariscos spots I actually enjoy. I highly recommend the shrimp and fish tacos, the camarones dinamitas, camarones de cucarachas, Coctel de Camaron, the aguachiles is actually one of the best sauces I've actually tasted, not to mention there other Mexican dishes they have on the menu. I also rented the hall for events and the menu for their catering services are good as well and the hostility from dining in and renting the hall has been phenomenal. Anyone wanting to eat good mariscos I highly recommend this place“

“The food was excellent. The food far surpasses the service. Let's begin with the Buffalo shrimp, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. An excellent take on wings seafood style. The seafood caldon especal was full of flavor, perfectly spices even though it has jalapeño in it bring back a sense of being on the beach. The Capechana was high quality and the delicious. The chef not only an excellent cook but took part of the service. The Michelada base alone is memorable and wanted to buy a gallon of it. The waitress was professional but needs to elevate her service skills, one attention to the client was very slow, there was no effort to explain the menu, little initiative to attend out table.“

“Amazing food! I ordered the Crispy Fish Sandwich and fries. Hearty fish portion, fish was fresh. Sandwich bread was also fresh and perfectly toasted. Would highly recommend. Fairly priced for quality of food.

“We had a lovely dinner that comprised of stir fried garlic Lobster with noodles, crab fish maw soup, fresh steamed giant shrimp, fresh steamed cod, cubed beef, scallop, egg fried rice, and pea shoots. No clients thigh, who knows how long these tables sat like that... You know eating at places like this, you make a mess... Sidewalk right outside the doors is crazy filthy... “There is a public parking in the back of this restaurant. We came here for lunch on Sunday. I heard that they are known for their seafood. This place has lunch special, which was a good deal. This restaurant is very clean, especially their bathroom. We ordered chicken, tofu in clay pot, satay beef with vegetable, shrimp, and soup. Food was very authentic. My favorite is the satay beef with vegetable. The meat was tender and flavorful. Our server was very attentive and service was fast. Will come back for more Chinese food!“

“Great dimsum place! Instead of the typical dimsum carts going around, you order your dimsum items off a menu and give the order sheet to the server. No need to keep an eye out on when that specific dimsum cart is approaching your table! Very good system here. There are still servers that hold trays of dimsum items but mostly just dessert items. “Townsent is a hit or a miss. I guess it depends who is manning the kitchen and who is taking your order. Today for lunch the food sucked. I ordered for 2 people, 1000 year pork, crispy fried shrimp, stir fried clams with ginger sauce and Kung Pao scallops. The 1000 year pork was a little chewy, normally it should melt in your mouth. The ginger clams and scallops had no flavor at all, we had to spice it up ourselves. It tasted like it was just boiled in water. The steam rice was soggy and looks like it’s been steamed way too long. The only thing I enjoyed was my hot tea. The waiter never checked on us at his own. We had to whistle him down. Maybe their food and services at night is a better hit. All I know is that I had good dining experience with them in the past. But today. It really sucked!“
