“This place is super clean! Not that feeling of greasy oil over coating the entire restaurant. The tables were very very clean! And hand sanitizer everywhere!
We've been here many times over past two years most excellent service!
We ordered
MSG warning. I did not feel it then but about half hour after I started to get an MSG headache. I do have sensitivity—I should have asked but forgot bc many places I have eaten recently do not use.
Chef special Walnut chicken. Superb 5/5
The batter coating was light. No oily greasy feeling or oil absorbed into batter. The honey mayo dressing was also perfect light
Mongolian beef. My husband gave it 4, me 3 stars. Because it was not really Mongolian beef. The correct name would be black pepper beef. It did not taste like Mongolian beef
Kung pao chicken 3 stars was not as good. It was passable. The chicken seemed like it was lightly coated in cornstarch then fried. But it was fried a bit too long bc chi he was very dry. Also the sauce was not great. Tasted also a bit in the burnt side. I like smoky but burnt not great. See pic. I like tre chicken more lightly cooked so it’s still a bit soft and juicy. Sauce also too burnt
We had ordered sesame chicken on a bed orange slices do taste s little like orange chicken. Delicious 4.5/5 stars
Rice better this time (our 4th)“

“The food is AMAZING and the portions are very generous. My husband and I typically get the combo for two, and we usually have leftovers for lunch the next day. It’s a great value for the amount of food you get, and it’s all delicious. The kebabs, the hummus, and the rice are all perfectly seasoned every time. The beef kebab is my favourite, followed closely by the hummus.“

“Yes, I already have a review of Sushi Fire (and I stand by it), but I am compelled to add another review, here’s why.
My wife and I come here quite often these days. In fact, it is one of the very few restaurants we are still willing to spend our money at. (The dismal state of cuisine in Southern California is a topic for another day.)
Why? Because the food is good. It tastes good. It looks good.
No, they do not serve $30 per piece Bluefin Otoro, nor do they serve $400 a box Akatsuki Uni. Don’t get me wrong, they’re probably amazing (I will never know), but I don’t live in Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos world, nor do I live in Robert De Niro’s world, for that matter. I live in the real world, where $40 for one meal is a heck of a lot of money, but I’m willing to pay it, if it is good.
And Sushi Fire is definitely good.
In the past year that we have been frequenting Sushi Fire, I have gotten to know Winston. I started asking him to make me something different, something I have never had before. This is how Winston came up with the “Chef’s Special”.
The Chef’s Special is nothing more than Winston’s creative imagination. Almost every time it is different, but it is always good. I’ve uploaded a bunch of pictures here of Winston’s Chef’s Special, so take a look and see how creative he can be. (I call them all “Chef’s Special”)
I invite you to stop by and put yourself in Winston’s hands (it helps if you sit at the sushi bar). Ask him for a Chef’s Special (let him know if there’s anything you don’t like). Then, all you have to do is sit back and let him amaze you.
Definitely my favorite place right now. Way to go Winston! Way to go Sushi Fire!“

“LA comida y chef are muy especial. We love it! Who cares if the floor is a little dusty LA comida es fatastico! Fast service no long lines cafeteria style dishes tambien y frescas jugos , fresh juices y horchata Home made corn tortillas todos delicioso,I want to try everything. Chef, cook(s) begin their work day at around 4am daily I believe , that's how devoted that person Vidalito Is to his patrons. He surprised me and my husband ( we are elderly) with 2 extra burritos ( for free!) I could barely lift the bag! The burritos at thela paloma are stuffed to maximum capacity😋 they are big!! We have never actually been able to finish one at one sitting. I have never seen such output food production come out of a restaurante pequeno..little restaurant. The Spanish people The Spanish, Hispanic workers are simple easygoing & down to earth“

“Let's talk about Menudo again. We all know that Menudo is made from beef tripe, but it also needs a broth. The broth is normally made from beef bones and beef hocks. I have never found such ingredients in Menudo before.
I scooped out a beef foot and a beef hock from the takeaway bowl. There was black hair on the beef hock, which was unacceptable to me. I have a very particular sensitivity to hair, and I won't accept it.
Besides the hair on the hock, it was an extremely good Menudo. The flavor was good, not as good as Taco King on Gladstone St. in Azusa, but still good.
The Menudo in this restaurant was not small cut--it had big chunks of beef tripe, beef hock, and beef feet. Just enjoy it.“

“This location is great. The food is always fresh and Jose who is the owner is always nice. He and his wife make sure that all the food is made fresh from the salsa to the guacamole. It is a little pricey, but it’s definitely worth it knowing that you’re not getting a bunch of chemicalized food The burgers are great. The salads are good. Love the French toast. Everything you get here is always made fresh nothing ever sits around. I do sometimes have to ask for the french fries to be fresh or a little bit crispy but other than that everything is always good always delicious. The portions are great and the pricing is not bad. They do have burger deals but again 10 out of 10. Totally recommend.“

“Been coming here for years, it’s the best Chinese food restaurant in town! The food is always fresh and comes out fast. My favorite from this store is the jalapeño chicken. They also have glass noodle, which I can’t find in other restaurants nearby. The prices are pretty cheap and the large smoothies and Thai tea are only about $5. There’s plenty of tables to sit at and the area is pretty clean. Definitely recommend this store for anyone who is looking for affordable fresh and delicious Chinese food!“
