“This is my new go-to spot when flying in and out of LAX airport. The poke was high-quality and fresh with premium fish cuts. What really stood out was the customer service/the owners - they were warm, kind, and took the time to share with us about their food. You could tell that they are passionate about their business and customer care. There were long-time regulars there, and they just gained a new one ?.“
“I've been here 6 times now and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food is great and the service is quick! I usually get a two item bowl with Tofu and Bulgogi over rice and jap chae noodles. Delicious! Another big plus are the fair prices! So many places these days are just jacking prices because everyone else is. Rice Cups actually lowered some prices without sacrificing quality. Props to the owners!“
“We are coming here for brunch from out of town you do need a reservation to eat here but overall great service nice music I would recommend the Hong Kong French toast and the milk bread the food came out relatively fast by the way I’m 11.“
“Amazing superb customer service! I would actually hope so for this space having limited seating.Note: if you feel like trying more than one main dish split it (ex:pho) and you’ll have a solid amount of food, they are not stingy about their splitsBanh mi was delish and packed high! They get their bun from a bakery in Los Angeles.Spicy garlic tofu bites were good. Their homemade chili oil was good too!Pho was solid just wish they had a different type of noodle and didn’t cut it up so much when splitting. The noodles were so short and they were hard to grab with the chopstickMetered parking on Montana and it’s right next to the dry cleaners near the cornerVegetarian options: They have options that’s just veggies onlyParking: Paid Street meter parking“
“Everything at Chinois is perfect every time . It is timeless with Owners, Bella and all the staff. The old favorite dishes never disappoint and new flavors to explore. I have been a fan since the beginning and as locals we come regularly and for many occasions. Well Done ?“
“2nd time here and it’s off the charts!Love the Asian fusion food - don’t miss these two items, green papaya salad and miso pork jowl! Everything is delicious - literally. The atmosphere is incredible, fun colors, low lighting and jungle animals lurking. Fun and funky spot with sophisticated flavors make Piccalilli a great place to check out!“
“Great ambiance at this restaurant! It’s a nice surprise to find this on the second floor of Madang Courtyard. The food, although good, is a little pricey for what you get. Even the lunch bento doesn’t feel like a great value. Wasn’t particularly impressed by the service. Overall an okay experience.“
“One of my favorite Korean bbq spots. They have free parking with validation. Over the years though they have slowly increased their prices which is reasonable but they also removed the steamed egg and the spicy tofu soup of their all you can eat menu which sucks.“
“Tried this new place out. We had the all you can eat lunch special. There were definitely some pros/cons.The pros were: excellent food (especially the butter chicken), great naan! Price was reasonable at $19 per person. Easy to park with no extra cost. Dessert was good but they only had a fruit salad NO sweet rice or NO gulab jamun (which I normally looooove to eat at other Indian restaurants). Good service, the waiter was kind. The cons: the atmosphere could have been more upbeat, it was very quiet (no music playing), they ran out of the dish we loved so we had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes before they brought more out and the rice was limited; I think we could have asked for more but we ended up just using what they gave us.“
“Noodle dish was perfect ! Xiao lum bao or soup dumplings must have been lost in translation because that was 1000 miles away from what I know…..and to be fair it’s not on the menu. Eggplant chicken wouldn’t order again. Staff is very nice and of course quick. I’d come here again now that I know what they are good “
“OMG, everything there - just perfect! There wasn't a single thing here that I didn't like. From the pizza, to two different pasta dishes, to all of the sushi, slider, and bang bang broccoli - it's mouthwatering! Loved the dragon roll, crispy rice, and basically anything with unagi is absolutely fantastic. Wasn't super thrilled with the orange wine (I think that's what it was?) but the house white was good! This place is a total vibe, for a sexy little vegan dinner date night! Service is incredible, everyone is nice and attentive, and quick with delivery and clearing out plates. Music selection was great. Overall, loved loved loved it! Recommend to everyone and a place I'll definitely be coming back to!“
“CUTEEEE, I've heard of U Dessert Story in SF and was excited to hear they were opening in Santa Monica along a brunch spot! The location is beautiful and interior is so fun for brunch. The wait has been popping off so I'd recommend joining the waitlist early! I had the breakfast plate with their millionaire bacon and the scone was my absolute favorite- literally the best scone I've had lol!!!“
“Came here to try out their five course Valentine's Day dinner and it was AMAZING! The food is made with love. Every dish was neatly made like it was a work of art. The drinks were also out of this world. I had the rack of lamb and it was cooked to perfection. The service was probably one of the best experiences of my life because the atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly. I'd love to come back here next year and experience the food all over again!“
“It's a comfortable place where you can enjoy beer and various snacks with friends.Parking is not easy on Friday nights. However, they provide validation, so parking is available at a low price. The owner is friendly, and if you come before busy hours, you'll receive excellent service.“
“Arrived less than an hour before closing but they weren’t busy so they invited our party of 5 inside after seeing our hesitancy outside the front door. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly hospitable, helping us figure out how to best enjoy the dishes we ordered (we’re still learning about Korean cuisine) and were really accommodating. And everything was amazing!! We got the ox bone soup with beef brisket, mul naeng-myon (cold noodles with beef and pickled radish), haemul nok-du jeon (korean pancake with squid and shrimp and clam), and the spicy galbi-jjim (braised beef short ribs) which was our favorite.Highly highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!“
“Shabu is great for groups, and really fun though may be a bit confusing for people who've never had Korean hot pot (or fondue chinois!). It's a little expensive if you want just a little fish in addition to a veggie hot pot, and the music is *party* loud.. great for fun but could be difficult for some with older ears. We didn't try the sake but there looked to be a great selection.. maybe next time !Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian hot pot option, and a small selection of veggie starters, as well as some great glass noodle salad and plenty of other noodles to cook, but the selection could be a little bigger (albeit there aren't too many proteinaceous veggie options in Korean food!).“
“Went early afternoon on a Friday and ordered the Pupus Platter and a guava Hawaiian sun. The Pupus Platter came with spam musubi, kalua nachos, macnut onion rings, ahi poke, and teriyaki skewers. They also bring complimentary two small hawaiian rolls with butter. I was well tended to, even though I sat at the counter, and my server did a great job of making sure I had everything I needed. Portion size was huge and is enough to easily feed two people. No complaints on the food - I was pleasantly surprised by the lighter batter on the onion rings and loved the poke and kalua nachos. They used ogonori if I’m correct in the poke, which gives it a similar chewiness to wood ear mushrooms. It’s a very diner style vibe on the inside, especially with the counter being directly of access to the kitchen and coffee counter. The bakery and restaurant are very fluidly accessible in the same open space concept. A huge variety for the bakery, and a selection of Kings Hawaiian rolls are purchasable as well.Parking: Free parking lot behind restaurant“
“My son took me to this place while I was visiting LA, and I absolutely loved the ambience, the food quality and the friendly staff. Dishes served were freshly made and the taste was authentic. I highly recommend this place to everyone, its an experience.“
“My teen daughter and I love On + On, and everyone at this location is so nice. It is next to home Depot so plenty of parking. The food is very fresh and there are so many choices you will never get bored. The sauce selections are very tasty I love all of the proteins. It is very easy to eat as healthy as you would like at this restaurant. There are so many vegetables to choose from cold and hot. I highly recommend! I always get two sauces nori and hot and get them on the side so I can add as much as I prefer. You get a very large amount of food for the price as well. Highly recommend!“
“Amazing delicious food and the best customer service!! The food has so much flavor and you can tell it's made fresh when you order it. I've gotten noodles and sandwiches here and everything is always so good. The drinks are delicious as well. The owner is hands down the best owner ever, such a genuine and kind soul. We will absolutely be back again and again!“
“The line moves quickly, the people who work there are welcoming, and the food is tasty and priced reasonably.I always get kitsune udon with an onsen egg and a side of tamago tempura and potato croquette, and I’ve never been disappointed or dissatisfied.“
“Got a Jalapeno Cheddar Chicken, Original (White) with Potato & sugar, plus a Churro Donut & a soda. Let me start with the donut because it was really good. It was chewy inside and not overly sweet like most donuts, the fine grain sugar on top was absolutely delicious. The hot dog was really good too. Very interesting mix of flavors, I normally don't like sugar on meat but they balance it out pretty well to where it's just a little hint of it. Everything was cooked really well nice and hot, savory with a hint of sweet Small place located in the 2 floor plaza, with extra parking downstairs. Service was ok, it was quiet when i went. It's pretty affordable for the portions. Located in a 2 floor plaza with underground parking“
“Got take out from Palmsugar, just two dishes since it was the first time trying it - got chicken pad thai and vegan spicy basil fried rice. Both dishes were amazing, the basil fried rice was honestly 10/10 - had spice, excellent flavor, well cooked. The Pad Thai was also very good.Definitely would recommend and will likely try more of their food.Vegetarian options: They seem to be able to make most options vegetarian/vegan - the basil fried rice has the option for tofu, no fish sauce, no egg and at the bottom, an additional option to make it vegan - perhaps to ensure it would be. Flavor was still phenomenal, thoroughly enjoyed it.“
“The duck is incredible!!! Period! My food was so good that I totally forgot to take a picture of my plate before I started eating ? I loved it and will go back! Wrist check, I am wearing the Seiko Presage Prestige SARX045 JDM release on the Hirsch Liberty leather strap.“
“Today was our first time here. Based on recent reviews we came here. The exterior kind of throws you off, but the service, menu simplicity, price, AND Food portions was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!DEFINITELY COMING BACK! Give them a chance and make a visit to get some fresh made to order food!“
“One of the best AYCE Kbbq I've tried in LA! The meats that we've tried here were incredibly fresh! I highly recommend their Ribeye Steak, Wagyu Beef Belly, and Giant Beef Rib. The Ribeye Steak was so juicy and tender. It's comparable to Kbbq spots that aren't AYCE. I love the other dishes that they offer as well, especially the dynamite scallops and honey glazed sweet potatoes. Aside from their amazing food options, they also have a lovely and spacious outdoor patio.“
“Meizhou Dongpo isn't quite what it used to be when it first opened years ago in terms of the quality of the dishes. It's still a very nice place to sit and take a break from strolling through the mall, but it's now best to stick to a few of their most popular dishes while steering clear of the rest. For many dishes, prices have gone up quite a lot while not preserving the quality of the dishes. The serrano pepper beef and crispy roast duck are still quite good and worth a visit. Other items that used to be amazing are no longer so, like the fried rice, which now amounts to very little other than small amounts of egg and cabbage in a large serving of oily rice.“
“Had a fun time dining at this beautifully decorated Garden Cafe and Bar in Ktown. I totally love the aesthetics here, and the lovely presentation of their food and drinks. I really enjoyed the flavors of their Kimchi Pasta and Croffle that's topped with fresh fruits! Really like their selection of dishes, from their delectable desserts to their colorful drinks! Perfect spot to visit during brunch and happy hour!“
“Found this spot last week when a storm passed by Los Angeles. It was all seats taken but I was able to do a take a take out. Wasn't really expecting something just something to eat when we got home. It was good. Unique flavor. I tried the miso and soy ramen.Today I brought the whole family we had a lot to eat I wanted to try the menu. We will be taking out some food for tommorow but I'm happy with the food.“
“Don’t know if it’s authentic but it is delicious. We orderedgochujang sauce chicken wingsStirfried kimchi pork w/ steamed tofuWings were crunchy outside and soft inside. Just the way it should be. Everything just melted in your mouth.Kimchi pork was something new we tried. Not spicy but still flavourful.Would definitely visit again. Also, the valet guy outside is a scam and people who work here at Louders saved us and got the car from that valet guy.“
“Cash only. Busy lunch location for the area. Standard menu items that cover rice to noodles, a big menu for a small mom and pop shop. Small parking lot can get hard to get out of during rush hour. Maybe easier to park on the street instead.“
“Wow this place is amazing. I live close and always drove by wondering what the crowd was about as it’s just an unassuming truck. I finally tried it and am in awe at how good it is! We tried the sliders, quesadillas, pork tacos, and bbq beef burrito because we couldn’t decide what to get. It was all amazing and the sliders tasted very similar to pork buns - just on a bun like for hamburgers! It was delicious! I feel like you can order anything and you won’t go wrong. Please try it!“
“10/10 would recommend Came her for pho and ended up ordering everything but pho. They had a lot of selections and each one had there own taste I personally likes the sweet and sour chicken! We ordered the red curry, basil fried rice, cucumber salad, and shrimp spring rolls. Everything was delicious.“
“Very unfortunate rating I have to give, because I actually enjoyed the pho. I originally ordered the oxtail pho, but after like 10 minutes found out they were sold out.The broth was nicely seasoned, not as clean/clear as I’d like though, the rib eye was okay, but there were not enough noodles. Anyway, I ordered shrimp egg rolls as well. I was almost done with my pho before they came out. Yet and still? They came out FROZEN! Not cold, or old, FROZEN!“
“Flavor is good, they use a lot of garlic. Amount was enough but not for big appetites. Price is in average of Panda Express.Food was barely warm , and when is raining you just want your food hot. Service was good, they do not ask for tip, that is voluntary. Dining room is ok, chairs are for fast people, do not try to stay more than 15 min or pay your rent. I’ll be back but I’ll ask the waitress to please tell people staff be sure my delicious food is hot and healthy. I just realized, that must be keeping over 135 f degrees to be healthy, right?Anyway I’ll be back because I love garlic as a seasoning. Thank you“
“Our experience with Aldo was fabulous! he was professional, courteous, and a wonderful server. He made our experience at Chinchin incredibly pleasant, and I would say he is among the best that I have experienced here in the many decades that I have been coming to Chin chin. We will definitely come back and hope to see Aldo again soon. Thank you!“
“This is probably one of the sushi gems in the South Bay. They give good portions for the price. They also have boba so my daughter loves boba and Sushi together. It's a small restaurant but cozy. Just keep posted the days they are closed. It seems to rotate so when I went they were closed on Wednesdays. I really enjoyed the food and the service. Definitely check it out!“
“Delicious and really cute place! We had the crispy veggie rolls, drunken noodle/pad kee mao, eggplant, pineapple fried rice, mango sticky rice, Thai iced coffee and Thai ice tea. Would re order everything but the mango sticky rice (teeny portion) and the fried egg roll (just ok). Service is very friendly. Spent about $40 each for 3 people, but we ordered a little too much! Would love to return soon.“
“Try on+on if you are looking for light & healthy lunch options! So tasty and affordable feeling like a Korean Chipotle.I tried most of the menus there, and my favorite is a medium bowl with salad & bukwheat noodles, topping with bbq and the creamy cilantro sauce. Btw smoked salmon goes well with the noodles as well!“
“The boss is friendly, and the manager is kind. They are kind and personable. The food is good value for money. However, the kitchen is clean. It's a mess. I worked in this kitchen, but I was fired because I was careful about doing the dishes. The chef told me to leave because he couldn't keep up with the pace of work. I don't know what authority the chef had to presumptuously fire someone who the president and manager asked him to use, even though he is not the next Steven Jobs. Steven Jobs was even the president. They planted someone like Hitler in the kitchen. This chefHe is a very rude person. No matter how delicious the food in the kitchen is, the kitchen utensils must be cleaned cleanly no matter how long it takes.Because the work is not at home, but at a restaurant or commercial, there are people who tell you to do the work quickly and roughly. Imagine that if you do it quickly, the customers end up eating the unwashed soap on the dishes. The kitchen is a perfect score out of 100.The boss is kind and the manager is kindThey are kind and show off their personality. The food is also good for the cost. However, the cleanliness of the kitchen is poor. It's a mess. I got a job in this kitchen, but I was fired for doing the dishes meticulously. The chef told me to leave because he couldn't keep up with the speed. I don't know by what authority the chef had the right to fire the person the boss and manager asked him to use, and he wasn't the next Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs was even the president. I planted a minute. This chefThis is a very bad person. No matter how delicious the kitchen food is, kitchen utensils must be cleaned no matter how long it takes. There are people who tell you to do your work roughly and quickly because your work is not a home, but a restaurant and commercial. The kitchen is a zero out of 100 points“
“So this is actually my second time visiting this place and it was so good, I rushed back. On my first visit, the lead cashier helped me with selections when I mentioned this is my first time. She explained all the options and even gave me a few "crowd favorites". I ended up choosing the fried rice bowl combination and one of their slushy drinks. On my second try - grabbed the rice bowl combo again and a peach drink. Delicious.“
“a tavern themed Korean restaurant that has some really excellent crafted drinks you should try. I recommend the yuzu mojito and the miss Korea. They also specialize in Korean Italian fusion dishes like their variety of pastas. I got their crab and seafood pasta and omg it was SO garlicky. Every bite was full of flavor and the pasta was al dente. Their yuzu brisket salad was also tasty and interesting but I would put the dressing on the side. I also got their oven roasted pork belly which I thought fell short. The pork wasn’t too tender and lacked flavor without the soy sauce it would have been too bland. Let me know what you guys think!“
“I was a little hesitant at first because of the higher prices for smaller portions, but I have to say the sushi here was amazing. It tasted so fresh, clean, and delicious. The staff were friendly too. They also surprised me with a free dessert for my birthday!“
“combo #3 is like a tasting platter with a little of everything: satay skewers, soup, some rice on the side. the char on the skewers adds a nice depth to the flavor profile. highly recommend upgrading the soup to the coconut beef one (Soto Bewati)! adding a little green chili sauce balances the creamy soup well.“
“Vegetarian options: I really love this place it’s so amazing . I also love to eat noodles from this specific place . Owner is so nice and kind . Noodles and fried rice are so delicious. They have good vegetarian options too along with non vegetarian. That’s my favorite place for Chinese food . Love it ??“
“Definitely one of my favorite healthy food spots. The location is clean great vibes color is vibrant and the ambience music is great. The food is always great because I like going into eat, but I also order online and deliver because the quality is top notch. There are other similar shops, but this is usually my go to delivery order.Parking: Easy parking in lot and street parking is availableKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
“This was a word of mouth tryout. It exceeded my expectations. The outside looks regular, so I asked a couple of people I saw leaving with food their opinion they too gave it the thumbs up and recommended the lemon pepper chicken. It was yum but they have a few flavors that aren’t the norm green chili lime, delish, lemon pepper drizzled with chili, definitely a return visit, garlic parmesan fries were nice. And my fav was the watermelon slushy. Yum.I will be back. Gonna try the cranberry coleslaw next time.“
“I loved it. The dessert sesame paste filled buns are amazzzzing.I would only suggest they ask you first if you want ice in your drink, because its brought with ice by default (like anywhere else here ?) and it would be nice to remind you that they could make it withouht it.“
“Like what everyone said, i tried this place due to a friend's recommendation. The food is great, too bad you can't add additional proteins in your value meal. Their drinks are delicious and refreshing. It is reasonably priced, for a meal comes with a bowl + sauce + cookie. Would come back and try their other sauces - their sesame sauce is delicious so its their spicy sauce! If you like bibimbap, you would like this! its the same thing but healthier as instead of rice its more veggies like salad! love the American korean fusion!“
