“We stopped by the Second Wind in El Segundo right by LAX, after hearing about it from some friends (who actually work at LAX). I gotta say it's a solid spot. It looks relatively new and the interior is very cool with anime and pop art stuff. The bar is connected to both inside and outside areas which is nice. We tried: Bulgogi Alfredo Pasta, Sriracha Hot Honey Wings, Flaming Wagyu, Snow Crab Avocajete Dip. I loved the snow crab dip. Its like a avocado dip but add snow crab and some Asian flavorings. Really enjoyed it. The flaming wagyu was also very good, and liked how they torch it table side for you. The bulgogi pasta was good too, and really captures the Asian fusion aesthetic here. They actually have a coffee/boba place located right inside the restaurant which is convenient to get some sweets after. Overall, we enjoyed it and plan on coming back to try some other items.“

“I loved my dining experience there! The decor is warm and special; the service, impeccable, and the food is beautifully presented and delicious. I recommend the lobster spring rolls, the calamari and shrimp salad, and the duck fried rice. If you really like lemongrass, then try the seared scallops!“

“Bun & Mi is a Vietnamese restaurant on Montana Ave in Santa Monica that serves the best Banh Mi in LA. Pop in through the window for a quick Vietnamese coffee, also the best in LA, or sit down at the counter for the full experience. Bun & mi serves delicious food in big portions that come at a solid price — this place is a must try in Los Angeles. Shoutout to the whole staff who are super welcoming to all guests.

“We were just passing through Los Angeles and decided to celebrate my husband’s birthday at Wallflower on a whim. We had no reservation, but were warmly welcomed and given a lovely table beneath the disco ball, which made the evening feel even more special.

Every dish was delicious. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the quality, atmosphere, and overall experience made it well worth it.

Brian and Anna are both two of the best servers you could ask for with friendly energy, knowledgeable of their menu, and personalities that make you happy to hang out. Truly an amazing place to go, but I do recommend the tapas menu! Get 2-3 shareables for you and a friend and you'll love it!! The main dishes are fine, but the tapas are really where they shine. I’ve head the pleasure it talking to her various times over the years that the restaurant has been here for and have enjoyed hearing her talk about how much she enjoys her home country. She has introduced me and the neighborhood to amazing food. I love their combos as you get to try the soups and all the different types of meat. Definitely recommend their chicken sate with the peanut sauce and the rice cakes.“

“The veggie eggrolls are pretty good. I wish this place had been able to also longer, but tomorrow it becomes non-kosher as the owner has sold it. Now there is no kosher Japanese Ramen, no Bulgogi, and only Shanghai Diamon (terrible), and Kolab Farangi (merely adequate) for kosher Chinese fare and nowhere for kosher Korean food at all.“

“We came here for lunch. We had cha gio, pho ga and com tam dac biet.

We were welcomed with a smile and I think the proprietoress took our order. She was so nice. Our food came out quickly.

During our meal we saw her talk to all the customers sitting. And all the customers who came in for pick up. It seems this is a favorite neighborhood spot. Everyone loved her and she in turn loved them back. It made the atmosphere so cheerful.

She talked to us and she smiled and laughed. I would come back just to speak to her and eat cheap, great food.

“I like to support local businesses, especially when they are owned by nice people. Bento woman is just that. The woman that took our order was very nice.

I ordered the Japanese noodle plate they sell. I forget what it’s called lol. I had them add chicken to it. They give you a decent amount of chicken. The noodles look like spaghetti noodles. They put too many onions and bell peppers into the noodles. My only gripe. I tried their chicken teriyaki too. It’s good. My dish was under $15 and it’s a good portion of food.

In a few days it will be a new year. We were given little packets filled with goodies. There was a Happy New Year message on it. I thought this was really nice of them.

They have boba drinks and things like croissants, but I just ordered a bottle of water.

They have no dining room, just some chairs so you can sit while you wait for your order. Because of this they have no atmosphere.

They have a mid sized parking lot.“
