“I had a great experience here. I called once we landed to see if we would be able to check in early, and they said yes. My husband was so sick from the plane ride, so we were grateful for that. The room we were given wasn’t cleaned, but the front desk immediately found us one that was ready. I love the waiting area set up, and there was a cute large connect 4 game. I enjoyed a drink a bar, the bartender was very sweet. The floors are confusing, so be sure to ask the staff what floor your room is on. Parking was simple, it’s designated just for the hotel. You can pay hourly or do all day. There is a shuttle to the airport I think. We rented a vehicle though. You are walking distance from a pharmacy and a few restaurants. “Brought some friends there to watch playoff football and a ufc fight. Ended up having the best filet mignon of my life. So tender you could slice through it with the side of your fork. Had fresh oysters from Virginia, which I was told are only $2 on Tuesday or Wednesday (have to fact check here). And probably the best thing on the menu is the bacon wrapped plantains, not a lot of food, but every bite is heaven. Wife loved her fancy drinks, but I prefer scotch.“

The food (burger, chips & beer) was good. A nice selection of beers on tap and by the bottle. Watch sports, play pool/billiards, hang out with friends, have a PTA meeting,etc.

We were a group of about 40 and from the very beginning, Liz made the entire process so easy and stress free. She was always available with quick replies to questions, flexible with any requests we had made, and genuinely excited to have us and was just wonderful. I got to meet Zach the night of the event and he was exactly the same way. They both understand hospitality and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The staff that night made amazing drinks and the food was delicious. On top of that, the room itself is already a beautiful space, but when we walked in and saw it decked out in the holiday lights, we knew right away we made the perfect choice in Corner Door. Everyone remarked on what a great time they had so thanks Corner Door for making it so special! We will be back!“

“Neighborhood gem. Can't express the amount of attention the wait staff and owners gave me. The restaurant was a bit busy but everyone received individual attention as though no one else was around. The food is amazing and fresh and the bartender is now one of my favorite people in LA. She made my custom drink to perfection on her very 1st try. The Alibi Room is the ultimate hangout spot, especially when you're reunited with old elementary school friends and teachers (yes, you read that right—grade school reunions are a thing). The service was friendly and on point, despite our large group.

Parking is classic LA—street parking, so be prepared to circle the block for 5-10 minutes. But once you're inside, it’s all good vibes. The drinks were spot-on: I had the Watermelon Margarita and the Gold Rush, both deliciously refreshing. And let’s not forget the Kogi tacos—I always go for the short rib beef and spicy pork. They never disappoint.

With bar seating, cozy couches, and outdoor tables, The Alibi Room is a fun, chill spot for drinks, tacos, and a good time with friends.“

“First let me say I gave the food 5 stars but actually I didn't try it so I just kept everything five stars. I was in town for a funeral and I needed somewhere to go and have a drink shoot a game of pool and relax. I stopped by this place and everyone was very friendly including the bartender Michelle and they made me feel like I was a regular. When some of the guests found out that I was in town for a funeral some of them offered drinks to me and my family for our loss. This is a friendly place and I felt at home and I would definitely come back here and recommend that you try it as well.“
