“For this yankee, the pizza was as close as it gets to any NY style pizza! The crust was perfectly thin (not too thin), the sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and the cheese had a good bite. The service was neighborhood friendly. The young men working knew the teens coming in. They were all pretty down to earth and polite. To too off the experience, very affordable!“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“For Venice this was 5* for me. Attentive staff, good cocktail/wine list, and most marvelous sausage/rabe orecchiette pasta. Loved the meatballs, okay pizza (mostly because all LA pizzas taste the same, soggy in the middle, yeasty fluffy crust and whatever else on the middle), but the pasta...it was a little chewy, a little doughy (all in the best way possible), perfectly saucy, spiced to perfection. The Nebbiolo they source washes down splendidly after all the protein/carb intake. Servers are attentive, knowledgeable, non-intrusive but always around and quick.“

“Got the Giulio sandwich. The small was still pretty big and decent price. The meats were fresh and the bread was soft. The staff was really nice.

The food can take awhile to make given it's so busy during the lunch rush. The market itself is nice for getting many Italian items like olive oil, fresh pasta and tinned fish.

The outdoor seating is nice but also next to a busy street so it can get loud.“

“Been here now 4 times and it keeps impressing me. The food quality and flavours are SO good, and the wine choices are great, haven’t gotten a bad one yet. The ambiance is a key element too, making it feels like home/community (the name ‘Companion’ is the right one!) with the LP player, the massive bookshelf, the wooden elements and the tables setup. It’s a favourite for us, where we always bring out friend and family visiting us. Love it’s in our neighbourhood!“

“Happy New Year Y’all!!🥂✨🤘🏼🥳 As many of you know I’ve been playing piano and singing at Casa Ado in Venice for the last 3.5 years, for a total of 700+ shows. There have been two paintings with me in them, a painted recording of this era of my life! It is unclear what will be happening with the restaurant going forward, as there may be some ownership change. Everyone is sort of holding their breath, and for now, music has not been included in January of 2020. There is talk it could go either way in Feb. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thank you all who have come and supported me these past few years on Washington Square and I will keep everyone posted as to what settles out in the next bit of time. “Wow! Finally a super authentic and friendly Italian place! Super tasty and the outdoor Venice atmosphere is super fun! You can build your own pasta! I enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo and added truffle sauce and sausage! Customer service is high quality also!“

“I have never been disappointed at Superfine. We ordered the Chicken Parm and Spaghetti and Meatballs. Both dishes had that Italian home cooked feel. We also enjoyed a farmer's market peach salad that was both sweet and salty. Great Paloma cocktail as well. The service was very friendly and attentive.“

“I have been to Ospi a number of times, and always find it pleasant and the food tasty. The only reason it is not a consistent 5 star is because it is (a) inconsistent in terms of service and (b) a bit pricey for what you get. Having said that, the scene is fun and the food is by and large good.

I highly recommend the kale salad and the chicken parm. Those have been consistently the best options, although I am not much of a fish eater.“

“This was our first time dining at Caffe Delfini, but it certainly won't be the last. The proprietor, Riccardo Menichetti, greeted us warmly and escorted us promptly to a cosy table in the larger of two dining areas which was refreshingly quiet even as more guests arrived (note: they also have a private party space that we did not see). Every item we ordered was superb. We shared an order of bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, and a generous portion of Bresaola. For entrees, we had the Risotto Saffron & Shrimp, and the Fusilli Nassa (also with shrimp). Both were flavorful and arrived piping hot. We added an order of their homemade bread, because you can't have too many carbohydrates when the preparation is this good. To complete the meal, we enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake and an orange gelato, which was prettily presented in a frozen orange skin. Like so many of the businesses in this area, they had to shut down after the horrendous Palisades fires. Now that they're back in action, and we have belatedly discovered them, Caffe Delfini will definitely be one of our go-to "special occasion" restaurants.“
