“I called Slice&Pint last night to order some pizza. Since it was 9pm, the guy said that they were not taking orders anymore for whole pizzas, but it was still possible to have some slices.
I ordered some and drove there right away.
When I got there, I added some extra slices and all the staff was really nice updating my order.

We reheated pizza at home and everything was great.
We got some cacio e pepe, pepperoni and carnitas. 9 slices for about 30 bucks. Highly recommended!

“Needed somewhere to get a quick lunch during my workday and decided to order the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken . It was made in a timely manner, went and picked it up. For me it was Delicious, hit the hunger spot , very creamy. No regrets definitely will come back and try other things on their menu.“

“For this yankee, the pizza was as close as it gets to any NY style pizza! The crust was perfectly thin (not too thin), the sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and the cheese had a good bite. The service was neighborhood friendly. The young men working knew the teens coming in. They were all pretty down to earth and polite. To too off the experience, very affordable!“

From the outside, you wouldn’t expect it to be a really chill, relaxing vibe type of place with open kitchen and great place of local neighborhood organic ingredients joint. Very organic kid’s drawing pics hanging throughout the place, it doesn’t look out of place but more of family & neighborhood feeling kind of place. It’s an all day place with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Got here between breakfast & lunch and both menu looks fantastic. Want to order them all but settled for pizzas and salad & of course lemonchello spitz. Great pizza dough and the ingredients are fresh and you can see and taste it that it makes with love for sure. Salad was good abit blanched for me but was focusing on the pizza so…very well make and well cook in the wood fired oven. The pastries look delish and smell fantastic. Service was attentive and friendly, no rush but chill vibe type of service. Prices wise, for 2 pizzas, a cocktail, and a salad and with tip…$150. Parking can be a hassle but if you are willing to walk a little, free neighborhood street parking or if you can find parking within 200feets, then it will be paid street parking or paid garage parking nearby. Still thinking of their pizzas, yum!“

“The pizza was very good. The Sei Margarita was a nice traditional tasting pizza and the Mala Lamb was a really good unique pizza that tasted like nothing I had tried on a pizza. The crust was excellent, bubbly and chewy. Save room for the tiramisu which was excellent.“

“I took my husband for Father’s Day brunch/lunch at our favorite Italian restaurant here in the Palisades and as always it did not disappoint. It never does. He loved his steak and eggs, steak was Devine and I loved my chick pea soup. Always have the panne cotta and the cherry gelato and an espresso in their delightful patio and you’ve been to Italy!“

“BEST PIZZA IN THE SOUTH BAY! My boyfriend introduced me to this little gem a few years ago and I can honestly say any other pizza I try since doesn't come close to the amazing taste that Jack's pizza makes. We're lucky enough to live 3 minutes away from this place, so we usually pick up and bring the pie home, but it's always piping hot and perfection every time. I honestly don't go anywhere else for pizza since my first bite of Jack's pizza, and I can pretty much guarantee you won't either. This place has been around for a long long time, I think somewhere around the 80's and I hope they stay around making magic in the kitchen for many years to come. “BEST NEW YORK PIZZA IN LA!!! The crust was perfect. Huge slices that don’t flop when you fold it. The garlic knots are heaven. Crispy bottoms slathered in olive oil and garlic. And the vodka sauce pasta is such a comfort food. Filling, huge portions. The owner is an awesome guy who put his dreams and energy into this place. Awesome event space!“

“Delicious Mediterranean food.
They were great at making seating for our large party (we did make reservations in advance).
The hummus plate had lots of beautiful flavors and veggies that melded perfectly. The roasted cauliflower was especially delicious, with a sumac olive oil (I think, I'm assuming by taste), and a tahina, shug, amba dipping sauce.
The shakshuka was peppery and filling.

“I came for a slice of the Truffle & Pepperoni with Hot Honey. Upon ordering I was curious as to what a cannoli was being that I’ve never had one in my 26 years of living. A nice man named Robert gave me one on the house so I can experience my first Cannoli! Great Pizza, great Cannoli, and great customer service!

“As an LA native who worked in pizzerias for 5 years and has made trips to NY and Brooklyn for pizza, I can say Petramale Pizza is some of the best NY-style I’ve had on the West Side. The crust is perfectly thin, the cheese is high quality and well-balanced, and the sauce has a rich tang. The service is also a standout. The owner greets everyone like a lifelong friend, and they’re generous, often handing out drinks or sides while you wait. What they’re doing for the community is impressive.

On a return visit, I tried their recommended Margarita with pepperoni (the “Margaroni”), and it wasn’t for me. They go very heavy on the parmesan and bake it with parm and basil already on, which threw off the balance of the pie. I'd highly recommend they switch to adding the parmesan on afterwards, and using fresh parmesan if they aren't already.

That said, I’d still highly recommend coming here. Stick with their more traditional pies and you’ll get an excellent NY-style experience.“

“I hosted my husband’s 30th birthday party at this Shakeys location on 10/4 and it was a hit! I met with Luis Gutierrez about 3 weeks before and was such a great experience. He took the time to explain everything to me and reassured me 30+ guest wouldn’t be a problem. The day of the party I arrived 30 min before to decorate and set everything up. It was a fantastic party from the food, to the service. Luis Tellez (manager), Elizabeth, Emily and Suzette did a fantastic job and were such great host for our party. I highly recommend and we will definitely be hosting future family gatherings there! Thank you all!“

“A friend and I visited Il Forno Trattoria last Saturday. After we left, my friend realised she had lost her grandmother's ring, of great sentimental value. We telephoned the restaurant even though it had already closed for the night, and the team immediately invited us back to search. When we arrived, the staff were cleaning up but had already started to look for the ring and helped us look through the restrooms and, kitchen. At least three or four employees actively helped, including providing gloves and helping us go through the trash to ensure it was lost in a restroom trash can. It was clear that everyone was genuinely concerned and willing to do whatever they could. Although the ring was not found, their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to stay late and actively help without question have left a lasting impression. I mustn’t forget the meal itself had been excellent: well‑prepared dishes, attentive yet unobtrusive service, and a well‑chosen wine list. Taken together with the staff’s extraordinary support, the experience showed Il Forno Trattoria at its best. It is the epitome of excellent service. Whether you are looking for quality Italian cuisine or a restaurant where the team truly cares about its guests, I cannot recommend Il Forno Trattoria highly enough.“
