“Such a friendly place for a drink- they offer non-beer alcohol (sangria!) and NA beverages so there's something for every adult.
Very dog friendly place that raises a lot of funds for local charity. One of the owners, Chris, is often around welcoming everyone and may give you free samples!
They have a small bar inside with a new reading nook, and upstairs has tables and high tops. Local clubs happen upstairs, like Magic the Gathering.
Nice outdoor picnic tables. No food though (just snacks), so check out Heschers for Detroit pizza or Original Pattern for Napolitan pizza.“

I didn't catch our bartender's name, but he was very friendly and fun to chat with. Can't wait to come back next time we're in town!“

“Love this spot! Don’t be fooled by the unassuming interior - the food is excellent. Best nachos hands down - we return for these over and over again. Best plantains. Best pupusas. Great prices. The service is excellent and fast, and they play fun music videos. I think this is one of the more overlooked spots on Valencia, but don’t miss it!“

“Such a terrific little bar! Top notch, small batch beers from talented local brewers. Something for everyone: IPAs, pales, pilsners, saisons, sours, and (often) my favorite Belgian beer styles. Casual, friendly vibe. A great place to go with friends, on date night, or solo (laptops fine). Can bring in food, games, or your dogs. Hoi Polloi is a real gem.“

“One of the best beer selection focused joints in the mission if not San Francisco. They almost always carry heady topper. They have excellent sour beer flights. These guys know what they’re doing. Additionally, I have had their hanger steak four times. Each time I was left aghast at how consistently amazing it was.“

“Really fun place. Probably the best house made tortilla chips I’ve ever had. Pliney on tap and beyond that a great selection. We both had salads and they were excellent. Burger was solid. Taco was mid for the price. It’s a 4.6 and that’s about what it should be at.“

“Everything about this lovely little place is perfect. The service was fantastic and everything is cute and clean, the big open windows looking out onto Mission Street were especially nice. The sausages and pretzels are amazing. You can also get fresh sausages to take home. I especially like the duck, and the boar sausages.“

“Kiosk for ordering, so no human interaction. I can’t really compare what I ate with other Mexican restaurants because of dietary restrictions. We had tacos: hand made blue corn tortillas! Meat had a charred flavor and was of good consistency. Quesabirria eas nice the consume was on good too. Overall great experience.“

“Over in San Francisco from Perth Australia and popped in for a couple of beers, awesome spot and great beers, staff were super friendly and even grabbed some merch, get yourselves over and support these guys and have a cracking pint or four“

“Phenomenal Service specially from Rachel shes amazing. For me the Food was great and tasty. I love the Lobster Bisque Soup it was creamy and tasty.
Caesar Salad was good too. The Sea Bass fish was tasty but its a Small portion fish but taste awesome.
Creme Brulee was good.
The coffe latte was just Ok liek normal average latte.
Ambiance was awesome, price was reasonable, i love the design of this restaurant, very elegant, classy, its huge and bright, unique.❤😋“

“Delicious oysters are available for $1.00 ea with the purchase of a bottom of wine or champagne. Good burgers, good vibes,friendly staff, and relatively easy street parking; there is also a parking garage nearby. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars for atmosphere is that it has high ceilings, and probably would have been loud if it were crowded.“

Bar has quite the selection of craft beers, and bar staff are knowledgeable to help find your perfect pint.“

“A great place to enjoy a cold beer with great views of the bay and great vibes. I have been several times and always enjoy myself. I recently went to watch world cup, and another time after a Giants game. Two different experiences in terms of crowds, but the beer was great. I love the Kolsch. The bar tenders are very friendly and attentive. This has become my go to place to visit when I come to the city. Thrive City is a great addition to this beautiful city. Support these wonderful businesses around Chase that make this area worth visiting on non event days. I live two hours from the city, but always feel welcome at Harmonic when I visit.“
“I went in the late morning on a Saturday and the cafe was quiet and relaxing. I would love to come back and check out the piano bar in the evening. The barista was nice, seemed to know her regulars and was very helpful. Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte was great, not too sweet.“

“My brother loves beer and we get together a couple times a month. We had not been there in years, and this is where I remember them having a great beer selection. They have really done a great job on the remodel and the music is at a level you can talk at! The food was good and the beer was great. I will be back!“

“What a great place it exceeded our expectations. The interior is nice with a high ceiling. There’s a good amount of natural light and the lighting inside was a little dim which made a nice atmosphere.
I can imagine it’s also comfortable during night time.
Service was excellent throughout. We were checked on often and the host/server was so kind.
We were very happy with the portion sizes. Don’t be surprised by even the short stack pancakes. They’re pretty filling!
We were also happy with the salmon benedict and omelette. We’ll be happy to come back here and if you’re staying in one of their partner hotels they include a small discount so make sure to ask.“

“We were hungry, it was Memorial Day, we just left Best buy, and we walking down the street, and we noticed this place and it had a big window whiich caught our eye and we looked in and decided to check it out. We had our furbabie with us and he was welcomed too. We ordered something to eat and a drink and water for our furbabie. They had all different games to choose from and a pool table. We ate, we drank, we played Bingo and won a few games, we received, free drink tickets to use that evening, and gifts we picked from. The people that worked there were polite and friendly and the customers were friendly too. There were other furbabies hanging out too. We enjoyed ourselves and we will be back to visit. They have a variety of entertainment for each day of the week.“

“We were recommended this wine bar by the staff at Zuni Cafe next door, and it’s turned out to be one of the best tips we’ve gotten about our neighborhood. Ron, the owner, made us feel like regulars from our very first visit, and it quickly became our go-to spot, whether we needed to unwind after a stressful day or wanted to celebrate a small win over a glass of wine.
What really sets this place apart is the constant rotation of events and collaboration with local artists/small medium businesses. You can tell Ron puts real thought and care into building something for his patrons, not just running a bar. We’re leaving SF soon, and this is genuinely one of the places we’ll miss most. If you’re nearby, don’t just walk past it, go in and say hi to Ron.“
“Alameda Brewing is an amazing neighborhood spot! We met up with friends visiting from out of town, and it was the perfect, laid-back environment to catch up. The atmosphere is super family-friendly (we had all our kids in tow), the service was great, and the beer was fantastic. I loved the German Lager and the Burma Ale (fun fact: they told us it was crafted to pair perfectly with Asian food). I especially love their open food policy; we brought in some amazing BBQ from Fisque next door. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!“

“I don't what Oh G Burger means, but to me it's OMG what a great Burger! Seriously, it's the best burger I've ever had and I'm almost 75. Served fast and piping hot, fresh off the griddle. Beautiful crispy edges on the smashed patties, quality toppings and a fresh bun. Awesome thin fries, drinks served in glass jars. Fun '50s/surf vibe too. Go!“

“This place is awesome! We hosted a group party of 12, and Rory was amazing. He helped us learn some of the games and was so enthusiastic about them. He was super attentive, and honestly, all of the staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely excited to have us there playing board games. We had such a great time and would definitely come back!“

“We visited Alameda in April to attend a celebration of life for a family member that we lost suddenly. Our family was in town from all over the country, and we found Cafe Jolie Petit near our hotel. They took such great care of us, fed us meals on three or four consecutive days, and we could not have asked for better service or food during an emotional time. Pastries (Koiugn Amann!), Monte Cristo, and the coffee bar were our favorites, but everything we had was delicious. We hope to be back for happier circumstances at some point, and definitely will return!“
