Perfect for lunch or dinner and we have some favorites like the bolognese and the famous chopped salad but honestly everything I’ve had here is so good. The patio is nice for a warm day but the inside is cute for a cold evening for a cozy time“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“Funke does many things right, yet still manages somehow to feel both warm but not inviting at the same time.

It’s odd to me because I recently met Chef Evan Funke and he seemed to be a super nice and warm guy(and clearly very talented), yet his spirit seems to not shine as bright as it could in this particular environment.

A protege of Wolfgang Pucks from back in the day, he himself has become quite a celebrity chef with hundreds of thousands of followers on IG, and all the other things: book, tv appearances, etc…

I believe he’s considered the “Pasta God of California!”

While I have yet to try his other concepts, Mother Wolf (Hollywood) and Felix Trattoria(Venice Beach) Funke is his newest addition to his portfolio of eateries, if not a huge departure in menu from the other two; freshly made authentic Italian pastas and elevated pizzas and animal proteins with a thoughtful bar and wine list. It’s all very good.

The standouts are the squash blossoms and pizza for me, and olive oil infused craft cocktail, but I have yet to try the pastas so cannot comment.

I’m giving this a 4/5 because I can’t help but feel that Funke can’t decide what experience it truly wants to give you. As I said, it’s warm, but not necessarily inviting.

All that said, add it to your list for fine-dining in Beverly Hills. It’s worth going for the open-air rooftop bar and squash blossoms alone.“

“Love the California sunshine pizza, the penne pasta with pink sauce and mushrooms, Caesar salad, garlic bread, calamari, shrimp scampi, chef extraordinaire Julie Munn and crew! Food is always delicious whether eat in or takeout. The California sunshine pizza is even better the next day unheated! That's how good it is. All vegan 🌱 and organic greens😋🤤“

“This place is an absolute gem. Food is better than most formal sit down restaraunts at a fraction of the price. Great value for the quality, large portions too. It shocks me that there’s not a like out the door on a daily basis. It’s a must try lunch spot in the valley.“

“The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.“

“I had an Amazing experience, I came for my birthday, & would recommend this place to anyone for a birthday, anniversary or celebration, even just a great date/ night out. They had best food 10/10, im a very picky eater so that speaks volume. Great music playlist they had. Restaurant gave fancy, cutesy vibes. All the employees were so generous, sweet and go above and beyond. Our waitress was the lovelies girl i forget her name but she looked white, blond, blue shirt, beige vest with a tie. She was so accommodating and helped us so much with the menu as first comers. Again love the vibe, food, music, style and employees. Coming back in 2 months i cant wait! “What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. The ambiance is very Italian and welcoming. We found a true gem! Thank you Robert, Eddie and staff! We will be back soon!“

“This was the first time I had dinner at Ospi. I had had lunch here when they first opened and thought it was ok. But I gave it another try, this time for dinner, and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. We had the fried mozzarella which came with a cream infused tomato sauce which was delicious. The meatballs and kale salad were winners as well. I normally like Neopolitan style pizza so was a bit skeptical that they served thin crust pizzas but that was absolutely delicious as well. We skipped on ordering the ice cream sundae with marshmellows and regretted it when we saw another table digging when while we were leaving. I plan to come back for sure.“

“Antonio the owner is such a sweet person, the ambiance is romantic and peaceful. Now the food is absolutely delicious does not lack in any aspect! The food is authentic, flavorful, and without a doubt delicious! I come here regularly and am never disappointed. Ask for the cacio e pepe with a vino primitivo and to finish it off with a limoncello!“

“This was our first time dining at Caffe Delfini, but it certainly won't be the last. The proprietor, Riccardo Menichetti, greeted us warmly and escorted us promptly to a cosy table in the larger of two dining areas which was refreshingly quiet even as more guests arrived (note: they also have a private party space that we did not see). Every item we ordered was superb. We shared an order of bruschetta with fresh tomatoes, and a generous portion of Bresaola. For entrees, we had the Risotto Saffron & Shrimp, and the Fusilli Nassa (also with shrimp). Both were flavorful and arrived piping hot. We added an order of their homemade bread, because you can't have too many carbohydrates when the preparation is this good. To complete the meal, we enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake and an orange gelato, which was prettily presented in a frozen orange skin. Like so many of the businesses in this area, they had to shut down after the horrendous Palisades fires. Now that they're back in action, and we have belatedly discovered them, Caffe Delfini will definitely be one of our go-to "special occasion" restaurants.“

“I went with a large group and I think everyone but me like their entrées way better than I did. I really think maybe I just made a wrong taste choice. I went for a mushroom ravioli with a cream sauce. I have to say the service was excellent. It’s a cute little restaurant. You probably wanna make a reservation if you’re going there, the bread is incredible. It’s so so yummy. I did enjoy the appetizers. I was not impressed though by the Caesar salad I was with five other people and they all loved their trace. I think I just made a poor choice. I would recommend it and even for a romantic night or dinner.“

All very delicious - highly recommend their green power pizza, rigatoni with eggplant, eggplant pizza, and pesto vegan caprese! “I'm a huge fan of cheese, and was looking for an opportunity to try some new ones. They had a very bold Parmesan that wasn't overly salty. The 10 year aged cheddar melted in my mouth. The coconut Gouda from Holland was a surprise hit with the table. But my personal favorite was the french triple cream. I'm going to have to see if I can find some when I fly home.“
