“It was our first time and our waiter should have been nicer and given us an insight of the disher. He was in a hurry, barely asked us if we needed anything and when we asked for any recommendation it seemed to bother him. Also, I was very disappointed because he didnt' t let me know when he was bringing cake and we weren't ready with cameras. Food: excellent, really good steak and amazing bread. Service needs to improve and treat customers nicer.“

“They are by far the best steak I have ever had. We went there on a whim and they were booked but found a cute table for us by the fire. It was the most memorable meal with my husband. We are eternally grateful for the experience and service we received.“

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.“

“I used to come here often and decided to try it again. I was definitely ordering a Philly cheesesteak. They have 3 different cheese option but I went with the yellow cheese. It used to be serviced on a larger roll but this time it was more like a skinny baguette. They were also light on the cheese. Still gave them 4 stars since the meat was tasty, bread was fresh and service was quick.“

“We came here for a coworker's birthday. They called ahead and prepared a special menu with our names on it, along with homemade cheesecake and whipped cream. We ordered the prime rib, broccoli and French onion soup. For the price, I would rate the steak 8.5/10. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was great. “We used to eat at Black Angus frequently when we lived in the neighborhood. Dining there last night before an event at the Soraya, we remembered why. The food is SO TASTY! We shared the steak and lobster trio (SUCH a deal!) and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The wedge salad is better than ones you will get at a fancy steak house. And the molasses bread served warm with the soft butter is the best comfort food. And we always love the Happy Hour Martini and Margarita: Martini is super cold and the blue cheese olives are tasty. The only problem last night was the salad coming out with the entree. Other than that - a great meal at an unbeatable price! Can't wait to have an excuse to dine in again.“
