“The menu on the website had no prices. This was our first clue. And seeing the menu in print certainly validated our sleuthy intuition. \nThe food was very good and beautifully presented, no argument there. But over $200 before tip with one starter, two entrees and one dessert felt overpriced to me. Portions were sized well - they seemed small but were satisfying and we didn’t leave hungry. \nThe music was also a bit too loud, although I connected to the playlist. \nOverall a decent experience. I wouldn’t necessarily revisit, but would recommend with the cost caveat.“

“The bar at the Valley Inn is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in LA. Yes, it’s tiny but get there early, secure your seat and you’re in for a ride of the greatest cocktails served up by a ladies and gentlemen’s gentleman - the maker with the shaker, Bill. Seriously, make a friend of this guy and then introduce him and the bar to your favorite people - only your favorite people! The food in the restaurant is great but a tad expensive but the bar will become your new happy place. Bravo“

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.“

“What a find! I'm not in the habit of writing reviews but after a recent “Spaghetti Sunday” at The Georgian Room I find myself wanting to share this win. So rare to find a restaurant that delivers on both feel and flavor. Standouts were - (expertly executed) martini, crunchy/buttery/ herby garlic bread, perfectly punchy/ tangy/creamy + bright Caesar, made with crisp little gem lettuce, spaghetti and meatballs, just the kind you want - perfectly cooked pasta, straightforward meatballs in a traditional and tasty, comforting sauce. The service was top tier (warm and attentive). Such fun to be in room full of people enjoying delicious food together in a beautiful setting!“

For my entrée, I ordered the pork chops, and they were exceptional—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. My family chose the Thanksgiving special, complete with turkey, gravy, pie, and all the traditional sides. Everything was prepared with great care, well-seasoned, and pleasantly portioned. It was the kind of meal that reminds you why this holiday matters: simple, comforting food served with pride.

The bar is another highlight. They offer a wide selection of cocktails, and the two I tried were both excellent—balanced, creative, and made with quality ingredients. Whether you’re a cocktail lover or just curious to explore, the bar alone is worth the visit.

If there is room for improvement, it would simply be to continue enhancing the service pace during busier moments, as the quality of the food and ambiance deserves a dining experience that is consistently smooth from start to finish.

“I used to come here often and decided to try it again. I was definitely ordering a Philly cheesesteak. They have 3 different cheese option but I went with the yellow cheese. It used to be serviced on a larger roll but this time it was more like a skinny baguette. They were also light on the cheese. Still gave them 4 stars since the meat was tasty, bread was fresh and service was quick.“

“We came here for a coworker's birthday. They called ahead and prepared a special menu with our names on it, along with homemade cheesecake and whipped cream. We ordered the prime rib, broccoli and French onion soup. For the price, I would rate the steak 8.5/10. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was great. “Had a nice birthday dinner with my wife and mom. Welcomed with a Happy birthday menu insert.
Our server Zim was excellent. Ask for him. He explained service style and a few options that were available. He was cordial amd attentive the whole experience.
The women chose the prix fixed menu. Went with the same items,
Caesar salad which generous and perfectly dressed. Both went with filet and shrimp combo. Cooked to their satisfaction. I stole my wife's shrimp.
I went with the classic wedge salad. I like extra dressing onside which came out without asking again. I had the big T-bone with truffle crust. Awesome. Cooked perfect. Didn't eat it all because I wanted to have some for later. For sides dishes , we doubled on Brussel sprouts and had cheesy potatoes.
For dessert I was presented with a happy birthday playe with there cheesecake. They went with the chocolate and a regular version.
It was a great experience. I left 25% gratuity.
Great dining experience regardless of my birthday. Definitely recommend.“
