“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“The food was very good. I dined solo and had chicken liver mousse, the yellowtail crudo, the peach and tomato burrata salad, and the crab cake. The mousse was rich and interestingly paired with pickled blackberries and honeycomb. The crudo was delicious with the refreshing citrus. The salad too felt very fresh and like I was holding on to late summer. The crab cake was good, the sauce had a nice balance of spice and sweetness, it was very salty which is not unexpected with crab. The service was kind and attentive. I was very pleased with my experience and would return again if I'm back in Santa Monica.“

“When a restaurant takes their bread and simple salads seriously you know the rest of the meal will be excellent. That is this restaurant. Everything was excellent: freshness, flavors, choice of items on menu. The menu is small, but that just means each item has their full attention.“

“First time here and loved it! Came with 10+ coworkers with no reservation and got lucky they were able to fit us in. It was a little tight and some of us stood, but we didn’t mind since we were all socializing and switching around. Great drinks, great vibes, and everyone had a good time! My favorite part is that you can try the more expensive taste of wine if the bottle is open— I got to try a 2006 Syrah recently that I never would’ve chosen without trying because I typically don’t like raw, but it was my favorite wine of the night.“

“Came here late on a Saturday night, unsure if the place was still open. The owner, Brian, came out shortly after we arrived, and proceeded to give us the best service we have ever received, anywhere. He was friendly and knowledgeable, took the time to get to know us and tell us about the place, and was very gracious the whole time. Make sure you're wearing long pants! We will definitely be back to eat the food and enjoy more delicious wine!“

“The food and overall atmosphere was spectacular here. We ordered the patatas bravas, pan con tomate and croquetas for starters. Then the carne and branzino. The chimichurri that came with the carne was some of the best I have ever had. The house sangria was also a nice addition to our meal. Service was slow but the food and atmosphere made up for that.“

I really wanted to give five stars, but I just wish the owner would fix the A/C. I feel really bad that the staff have to work in such hot temperatures in the summer, especially the gentleman working the grill. I was kinda surprised with my bills and how the restaurant dictate the gratuity %….Overall, I love dining in this restaurant because we were welcome and were given a great and warm reception. “The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.“

“Had a wonderful brunch at Fig Restaurant! The setting overlooking the pool was beautiful and relaxing. We ordered the Fig Cobb Salad and Eggs & Steak, and both were delicious. You have to check in with the host stand right by the valet and they'll tell you to ring the bell by the side door down a few stairs. We had the Pappardelle Bolognaise and a wedge salad, both were amazing. The valet is really convenient but super expensive, even for LA. We'd stop back in some day for sure!“

We have come multiple times and every time is great. Staff is always so friendly. Came on Fathers Day w/ the hubby & sat at the bar. Our bartender Lexi was killin it.
