“It has always been a mystery how nearly any small trattoria in Italy can serve magical food but even the priciest Italian restaurants in the US offer up insipid imitations. I am happy to report that you no longer need to fly to Italy for a proper meal. La Gastronomia is the equal of anything you will find in the old country, magnifico. Also, as in Italy, wines are priced reasonably.

Great blends from Napa Valley , as good as any expensive vineyard , the owner blends and creates them for years, STRONG WINE, UNBELIEVABLE TASTE! The food is amazing, I’m a New Yorker and loved it ! “The restaurant Marché is one of my favorites in Marin County, a place where I had my 85th birthday party and where I can count on extraordinary food and service and ambience. The outdoor patio is delightful, and it's wonderful to be in a place where the noise level is low and manageable. We went on "hamburger night," and the hamburgers were cooked to perfection as requested, and the gnocchi ordered by another member of our party were as close to authentic as one can get (and I was raised in Italy). I would recommend Marché for those dinners that are special as well as more casual. It will never disappoint!“

“Bopped in for a bite on a cool Monday evening hoping for cozy but the place is bit well lit and stark. Also they don't heat the place and it was cold inside, everyone in jackets. Sounds negative but that was turned around by some fantastic pasta, namely the Gamberoni alla Busara. Heads on shrimp in a garlicky tomato cream sauce provided deep layers of flavor, bravo! I almost ate the plate it came on.“

My wife's bean soup was good but not great due to a lack of beans. The food at Piatti has definately gotten much better this past year.“

“Found Lasagna Today on the website as I was looking for a vegetarian lasagna for our Thanksgiving dinner. I called the number and spoke to Francesco and explained what I was looking for. The family size lasagna was delivered 2 days prior to Thanksgiving along with garlic bread and heating instructions. What can I say? Wow, the vegetarian lasagna was excellent! The cream sauce was so good and complimented the vegetables. My family loved it! We all had seconds! We plan to order more lasagna in the future and try a bolognese. Highly recommend Lasagna Today! “This place was excellent! A little hole in the wall right off of the 101. Me and my husband were driving home late from SF and wanted to grab a bite to eat on the way home. This place is open until 130 in the morning, so makes a great late night option. The crust is made of sourdough and is the perfect amount of crispy and chewy. The sauce was tangy and rich and the toppings tasted fresh. Overall 10/10. The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about but the food and the guy making the pizzas were excellent and made the hole in the wall vibe. Will go again the next time I'm driving out of the city late at night.“
