“My family and I enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting at the Beauregard Vineyards. Patricia was very helpful and knowledgeable. She made the experience very fun and memorable. We loved sitting outside after the tasting underneath the redwoods. Many picnic tables. I’d bring a charcuterie board with you, if that’s something you enjoy. I know I will next time. I enjoyed that we could order wine to be shipped home even without becoming members of the wine subscription. The membership sign up is no cost but a commitment to purchase bimonthly“

“As a family that truly loves Italian cuisine, we’ve visited countless Italian restaurants in various regions. Buzzo Wood Fired Pizza immediately impressed us with its modern, stylish interior and its open kitchen — a design choice that suggested both culinary transparency and a commitment to cleanliness. It set the stage for high expectations.

Yet, upon entering, there was an inexplicable sense of unease. It’s hard to pinpoint whether it stemmed from the service itself or the overall atmosphere, but the warmth and friendliness we often appreciate in a dining experience felt somewhat absent.

For our mains, we ordered The Charlie Pizza and The Jenkins Pizza. The Charlie Pizza was, unfortunately, far too salty. A touch of saltiness can enhance flavor, but in this case, it overpowered the dish and made it difficult to enjoy. The Jenkins Pizza, featuring jalapeños for a bit of spice, was fine but lacked any particularly memorable or distinctive character.

The highlight of the meal, however, came in the form of the appetizer: Arancini. These crispy, golden risotto balls, served with a parmesan sauce and leek oil, were exceptional. The contrast of the crunchy exterior and creamy risotto center, paired with the rich and aromatic sauces, was superb — easily redeeming the shortcomings of the pizzas we ordered.

In the end, Buzzo Wood Fired Pizza shows great potential, with a stylish setting and certain dishes that shine. A warmer, more welcoming service experience and better balance in the pizza seasoning could elevate it into a truly outstanding destination.“

“This is hands down the best vegetarian pizza I’ve ever had. Yes Pizza my Heart is great but Village Host has bubbly crunchy crust and the pieces are weighed down and soggy like PMH. The bottom is still hard holding up the Vege covered pizza! I’m obsessed w them. Little pricey but worth it as a treat. Cheese is great too! Always polite and cool people working too. More people need to know about them!“

“We decided to venture out from our usual noodle spot to Chloe's Kitchen and weren't disappointed! The Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was delicious, with a flavorful, savory broth and tender shank meat. Would prefer a bit spicier though, or some Szechuan peppercorn. We also tried the vegetable dumplings in chili oil, which were also very tasty! Only downside is the price is pretty steep ($18 noodles, $13 dumplings) compared to noodle and dumpling places in SF ($13-$15 noodles, $7-$10 dumplings). Kind of takes the fun out of dumplings when they are so pricey.“

“Great meal and environment! Went with friends who are locals and had been here many times. I know why! From the outside, you'd never know how large it is inside with many different rooms. We ate in the Garden room, a small lovely area with greenery everywhere. Besides the main room, there was a room with a fireplace as well as a large patio. Menu offered a variety of items and I enjoyed one of the best Reuben sandwiches I've had. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his ahi tuna sandwich. Prices were reasonable. The only negative thing I'd say is that parking in the rear is somewhat limited. Would definitely return!“

The upstairs terrace is the place to be. I really enjoyed the atmosphere especially the vault bar and the outside balcony lounge/terrace. The food is pricey but its the ambiance your paying for. Oh I also recommend the big bloody!“

“If you're looking for the best poke in town with none of the BS, then congrats--this is it. This is a family-owned restaurant serving up generous portions at a fair price. Tuna and scallops are my go-to, and they're always high quality, along with the rest of the ingredients. Good, sticky rice; fresh greens; smooth sauces. The ordering system in-store is simple and quick: just fill out a card, hand it to the staff at the register, and wait for your tasty meal. This place is a regular stop for my partner and me, and we're just happy to see them succeed.“

I love the nicknames - Hotflash, Still Horny - the sense of humor and the Aloha spirit is everywhere. These folks work really hard to create an excellent product and an excellent experience. Movie nights are super fun, often there is live music, and we always meet the most interesting and intelligent people. Their tasting room on the summit also rocks!“
