“This is my 2nd time here and it’s the absolute best place to eat. Before I had chicken vegetables and recently vegetables and tofu. I mostly eat vegetables and they offer a good portion of vegetables without skimping like so many other restaurants do. Not Bok choy. They work hard and are very attentive to their customers. “PERFECTION! My wife and I have been meaning to try this place out for quite a while, but we end up going somewhere else. We FINALLY popped in on sunday, holy cow, the food was AMAZING. The cheesy pull-apart bread, beyond good, it was like crack. The pot stickers, house-made, and the best I've ever had. Not by a little, by a lot. My ruben sandwich was 10/10... best I've ever had... it displaced the previous first place from 20 years ago in New Orleans. My wife just had a salad, but it was a monster, super fresh, and had a ton of blue cheese crumbles on it. This dinner we had, it was destination grade, and there's no place we can think of in 50 miles that even comes close. You can tell they use top notch ingredients... just sooooo good. Wait staff was super friendly, it was just so good I can't even say it enough.

“I love this place and after eating there actually looked up to see if I could buy stock...because I think it's that good. The menu is unique and the food is fresh tasting. The managers and staff are above and beyond in terms of customer service. I have an autoimmune issue and have to eat gluten free, dairy free and try to avoid certain cooking oils. It's such a hassle and I avoid eating out as it's embarrassing (I hate having to ask all sorts of questions and have my meal made custom- to leave out ingredients). Anyway, every time I have been here they have been super accommodating. The managers are superb and the staff is friendly. I tried a different location last time I was in the city and found that experience the same. I hope this place catches on and expands as I'd love to have it as an option in more locations.“

“We visited Tugboat Fish and Chips for the first time and appreciated their nautical vibe. It’s a cozy spot with both booths and countertop dining making it a great place for a quick but high-quality meal. Their counter service was quite and easy.

​Even though their soda fountain was down when we went, they had plenty of canned sodas and Snapple options, so it wasn't an issue at all.

We shared the Seafood Sampler, which came with a generous spread of 2 fish, 3 prawns, 2 oysters, 2 scallops, and a side of fries. The batter was exactly what you want: crispy and light without being overly thick or greasy. We also tried the Shrimp Basket (fries included), which was just as tasty.

The real surprises were the appetizers! We ordered the Lumpia (8 pieces) and Potstickers (10 pieces). The potstickers had glass noodles in them, which is a rare find and made them a real treat.

If you’re looking for a solid fish and chips spot with a unique twist on their sides, definitely give Tugboat a try. Great portions, friendly counter service, and perfectly fried seafood. We’ll be back for more!“

“This is my new favorite Asian restaurant it’s far from home but so worth the drive. From the decor to service to the amazing food…. I can’t say how refreshing it is to be able to eat clean healthy Asian cuisine. The owner is Bill and I’ve met him twice now. He’s passionate about his restaurants, yes I said restaurants plural. He let me know there’s one in Eldorado Hills and Folsom as well as this one I’m reviewing in Citrus Heights on Sunrise. It’s beautiful, clean, and the food is so very delicious! “The owners are so incredibly friendly and attentive. Food came out expeditiously. Wish they automatically included all of the dining room condiments with your takeout order; they ask you if you want tartar sauce and ketchup. But, there's no lemon or malt vinegar offered. Their fish is also fried incredibly soft. Some of the edges were crispy. Next time I'll ask them to fry it longer. Fish portion is also very small.“

“We really enjoyed ourselves at Rudy's Hideaway. Food was delicious! We shared an appetizer, fried calamari. For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. Ordered pork Xiao long bao and pork and chives steamed dumplings. The wrappers are very good, handmade and fresh.
The meat stuffings were not that great to be honest. Both tasted sweet and can't really taste the meat, it's like very fine ground pork. Hoping they will adjust the stuffings.“

“My wife and I celebrated a date night and our birthday month for both of us (March). We were greeted with a hello & smile from the hostess who welcomed us as we provided our name for our reservation. Within a couple of minutes we were seated noticing festive confetti sprinkled on the white table cloth of our table, this was a very nice touch. Our server was Jenna who was fabulous, she greeted us with a welcoming smile, introducing herself and asked if we were celebrating anything special besides date night. We proceeded to say; our birthday month, March. Jenna brought us some champagne and since my wife is not much of a drinker Jenna recommended a non-alcoholic beverage which was delightful, my wife loved it. I ordered off the special menu; filet w/crabed stuff shrimp and my wife ordered Chilean sea bass. The salad which came with my entree, Jenna was kind to say she'd split for both us and we also ordered a side of mashed potatoes. Cannot say enough how delicious our entire meal tasted, my filet was cooked to my request and perfection. My wife's chilean sea bass just melted in her mouth. As I reached over and tried a bite...wow it was as my wife stated, delicious! Jenna was very engaging checking in on us making sure all was presented, tasted and pleasing to our satisfaction. There was also Megan who would stop by our table refilling our glasses of water, removing any finished plating and making sure all was fine. Now after we finally finished our entrees we indulged ourselves with a recommended dessert; banana foster bread pudding which was as Jenna said; delicious! The dessert was brought to our table with 2 lit candles celebrating our birthdays. Lastly, our dinner experience was “Wonderful & Memorable” and we cannot express enough how professional, personable and attentive Jenna made us feel, she was truly amazing. “Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“First-time customer at this location. Party of 2 on a Saturday did not have a long wait. They had options to sit at the sushi bar or table. I love that the restaurant has a whole menu dedicated to gluten-free options. The fact that we have more than 2 options to eat. We chose 2 rolls and they did not disappoint. The cucumber on the outside was delicious and clean and crunchy. Will definitely return to try more rolls.“

“This is the ONLY Mexican food restaurant in the area that matters. It is the closest to ✨authentic✨ in the area… (I’m in Roseville closer to the granite bay side.) The Flautas are usually my go to at any Mexican place and the ones here are perfection. Even the beans and rice are good. Tortas, are bomb. The asada is good, too. But my favorite thing to get here are the breakfast burritos. I will try more to add on to this review but after moving here early 2023, this is the only Mexican place I go to that is worth a damn.“

The hostess acknowledged that it was my birthday. The table had small metal Happy Birthday cutouts scattered across the table that gave it a festive flare. Our server, Lindsay, did an excellent job by getting to know us. She made our evening and my birthday lots of fun! We enjoyed our entrees and the great service we received. Dine at Ruth's Chris. “Saturday, 9/27/2025 - Went to try Folsom Palace Asian Bistro. The restaurant is like, about 300 sq feet. Address is 3941 Park Dr, Ste 10, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762. There are many stores here. Restaurants, massage place, pet stores, gas, US Bank, Golden 1, etc. Lots of parking. Upon arrival....

Pros
1) Restaurant looked clean. Tables, chairs, utensils, cups, plates, etc all looked clean.
2) There's a bar.
3) easy to find parking. We got seated right away. We were the only ones in the restaurant since we were early.
4) our waitress was very nice and attending. She checked on us several times.
5) water tasted good. No funky or odd taste.
6) all of our food dishes were good. No complaints. 1 bowl of rice for 1 person is $3.50.
7) they had seating outside, in the front too. I saw a few tables there.
8) our waitress brought us a few boxes to go, as we had extra foods left.

Conclusion
I like this little place. Not too bad. Service was great. Parking was easy. Lots of stores all around, even a Target close by. You can catch a movie if you wanted too. Movie theatre isn't too far away. I'd come here again if I'm in the area. Not to shabby. I wanted Drunken Noodle. They didn't know what that was. Hahaha. I guess I'm at the wrong Asian restaurant. Lol“
