“Finally, Sebastopol has a late-night go to spot for fantastic food and great atmosphere! This is an authentic Georgian experience, complete with Georgian wines. We love the comfort food here. Very fresh and innovative! The owner is quite attentive and accommodating. I would give it 5+ stars, but the wine list is somewhat limited, primarily offering Georgian wines, which are nice but I would prefer to have some local wine to choose from as well.? They are open until 10:30 pm during the week.We will be back!“

“The octopus in squid ink was good.(Coming from someone that doesn't like octopus).The liver pate was a little overwhelming and needed more bread to use it all. The lamb cheek in polenta was not bad but had a little too much oil in it. Spent around 140 total which I think is a little too much without alcohol but it was reasonable for 5.5 people if the servings were a little bigger than the snacking size.If my first pick didn't have a 3 hr wait i would have not come. But I was caught off guard not being a local and all.If you have that nice wine budget to spend then it's a good place to hangout at and sip as a bar/lounge. But it is not a full restaurant in my opinion.“

“A home away from home, Portalupi truly puts the meaning of family into their tasting room and their wines. From the Sparkling Barbera to their Old Vine Zinfandel, they have something for everyone and the best charcuterie board in town! Seriously, I cannot recommend Portalupi enough. You are guaranteed a stellar, welcoming staff, and wines you will want to keep drinking forever.“

“We (4 four adults) went to dinner. We always enjoy the food here and love the sweet owners. We had the Insalata Baci, Insalata Cesare, Ravioli con Piselli (so good), Capellini al Pomodoro with a side of chicken, Vitello Parmigiana e Spaghetti Bolognese, Risotto con Funghi with a side of chicken and a couple of desserts. “Good food, they had the ground meat so it's a bit different. The plate was filled with meat, in fact i was hoping for a bit more of the noodles. Whatever was going on with the meat, it was a bit too sweet. So an overpopulation of meat made the dish a bit much. They had chillies at the table, but microscopic ones. Not enought to balance out the food. The dish was prepared by a culinary artist, just like in the shows. It was nice, but not what i was looking for.“

The asparagus salad and salade Lyonnaise were more than perfect , boudin blanc just delicious and then...came the Feuillete au jambon...no one else does this and it is soooooo delicious.Pour le dessert....tarte aux myrtilles , simple and very tasty. Heard the live music from the street which drew our attention into this establishment. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the wine (Pinot and Sparkling) was. “Visiting from Boston and came to Sonoma for the day. We came to Bacchus landing. Montagne Russe is the best winery we’ve been to. Kevin Bersofsky is the wine maker and makes the best wine. Tons of options to choose from, they had a winemaker doing pours of their new selection , and the staff is top notch.Best of all you can get food delivered from the local restaurants. “We were there a couple days ago for a work function. We did the wine and chocolate pairing and Micah was an absolute gem. He was very funny and informative and we all really had the most amazing time there. I brought my little dog in and Micah was so accommodating, brought him a little blanket and treats. Very welcomed addition to the community and supports/stocks a lot of local, smaller, winemakers in Sonoma county I had never even heard of. From the moment you step in the décor feels welcoming and artisinal. Walls of wine create a canvas that would make even Matisse proud. The wine itself is like a mural of cultures - highlighting local producers in Sebastopol making avant-garde whites, to more non-traditional New Zealand umami-driven pinots, to Georgian funk fests. Punchdown imports it all and offers it here to share by the taste, glass and bottle. The key here is in the variety, yet the true life of Punchdown is in the unpretentious staff and afforable price points, allowing customers to indulge in such stimulating, global treats.“

“My wife had members of her family come in from the east coast last month and they wanted to visit with us as well as taste some interesting wines in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. I have noticed Alpha Omega's tasting room opening just off the square and decided we should duck in to see if it would meet our needs. It did and was wonderful. Service was top notch. Samantha catered to our needs and informed us of what was in our glass while leaving room for us to visit and enjoy everything. My family grows a few acres of Grenache here in Sonoma county and I was pleased to taste Alpha Omega's Grenache. I purchased a bottle and will share it at my family's next get together. A great place to make some wonderful memories.“

“Wow. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have visited Equality Vines. I visited with my mom for a wine tasting and we were pleasantly surprised at how great of a time we had.Upon entering the building, my mom and I were greeted by Ben. I was immediately blown away with the interior decor; every corner is filled with very unique and eye-catching art pieces (courtesy of the art gallery next door). Ben gave us time to admire all of the art before we proceeded with our tasting, and what a tasting it was! I love how each of the wines had a story, and Ben told them beautifully (my mom cried multiple times). We enjoyed each of the wines we tasted, but our favorite was the "Get Your Own Damn Coffee" Chardonnay. A great wine with an even better name.I love everything that Equality Vines represents, I've never known wine to be so inspirational/meaningful and I can't wait to return and buy more wine (two bottles was definitely not enough). “Loved a unplanned stop here have purchased Siduri at home in Oregon & noticed the Willamette Valley connection. Their 1000 mile Pinot Noir tasting is fantastic ~ start with their Oregon vineyards & end with their Santa Barbara vineyards. They also have a Pinot blend tasting. Thanks to Tonya, lots of knowledge, information & opinion ~ all added to a nice visit & excellent wine. For having only Pinot Noir, the differences in side by side tasting is fantastic.“
