“First time there and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Concha French toast and the crepes. But our waitress Sugey was horrible. We asked for another fork because we were only given one and she said she would bring us 1 and coffee. She took forever, she kept getting distracted. Then when she finally saw me looking at her, she remembered the fork but forgot the coffee. Few minutes later she came with the coffee and we said thank you and her tone was not a happy one. The place wasn't really that busy. The others waitresses were helpful and pleasant. So I put 1 star for service because of her. But everything else was good.“

“CASH ONLY. French Toast Combo eggs, bacon $12. That’s unheard of it was delicious service was superb. I just wish there were some signs pointing it was cash only as cash is tight right now. I get it though they can keep the cost down haven’t been to a cash only joint in years.“

The food is varied, always fresh, healthy, creative modern nouvelle cuisine along with more traditional dishes, the ingredients definitely high quality -California Sunshine. If you really wish to muse, meditate, read, or silently work, the place is surrounded by little nooks and crannies in the midst of nature. You can even lull yourself to a nap, abandoning all care for a few precious minutes. Or else you can sit outside in community, perhaps choosing a more intimate table conversational setting on certain days, resolving the woes or the theories our world is constructed on. “I’ve been here a few times for breakfast.Characters are only available for breakfast and they are always worth it. I’ve had some great and memorable interactions with the characters here.The food is buffet for breakfast and Mickey waffles are a must!

Dietary restrictions: For the buffet, my sister has celiacs disease, which can't have any possible cross contamination with gluten. So the chef walked her through the buffet and wrote down what she would like so it could be put on a plate in the kitchen. This makes it so any possible utensil swaps or something falling from a guests plate as they look through the buffet won't be an issue. Disney is always great at accommodating allergies.“

“This cafe is located tight near Hoag hospital, and is perfect for a quick bite if you are waiting at the hospital. They offer real food, far from your typical hospital cafeteria. To top it off the staff is SO friendly and the food is good to top it off.“

“Fire…that’s what my 10yr old granddaughter says to say when things are really cool and delicious. So Firehouse Cafe is Fire 🔥 and I have to say my Chicken Cobb Wrap was off the charts delish!!! It was huge and had to take half of it home. It came with fries and I ordered the seasoned fries that were like a steak fry and cooked to perfection. My mom and Dad eat there all the time and love it. Dad says oatmeal is the best and it looked creamy and came with fruit, brown sugar and raisins. Mom had Cobb salad and it was so huge she couldn’t finish it. Everything was fresh. The waitstaff was so attentive and for being so crowded I was shocked how fast our food came out. We wanted for nothing except a couple of “to go boxes” and that was it. The only and I mean only thing I would say would downgrade a 1/4 star would be it’s a bit noisy when they wash the dishes up front and that is the worst of it and can be over looked cause the food and service are so fire. It’s really great to have a family owned neighborhood breakfast and lunch place that has something for everyone and when you’re there you are treated with kindness and you are really cared about. “Was staying at the hotel so decided to go for breakfast. Had the breakfast buffet which was a little pricey but did have various options. I did appreciate the omelet/egg station as it allowed you to customize things to order. They had your standard pastry options as well. They over a variety of juices which is also nice. The usual bacon, sausage, fruit was also out for the buffet. Service was a little lacking at the tables as we had to ask for refills multiple times. Everyone was nice though. Worth checking out if you're staying there.“
