All employees are nice and friendly, but the owner is an amazing human being, so humble and approachable, honest and relatable, love chatting with him every time we visit Cali, which is usually 2-3 times a year and we make sure we eat lunch and dinner at Sofra Urbana every day. “I was genuinely impressed by the quality and flavor of my Amuna's Tuna sandwich. Everything tasted incredibly fresh—from the Dutch Crunch, crisp bread to the well-seasoned proteins tuna. You can tell they prioritize quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve.

The sandwich was clearly sourced with care, and nothing felt processed or artificial. I loved how my meal was bursting with flavor.

“Great food, great waitstaff, and great atmosphere. The patio is such a nice environment to dine with large groups on a nice summer day. The sense of community is great, and many of the other guests I chatted with travel over an hour just to eat here. It's just that good of a place.

They have a band which plays karaoke on weekends. The music and musicians are great, and so many guests are eager to sing! The only thing I could ask for would be for the volume of speakers to be turned down slightly. For those who enjoy a calmer dining experience, the tables inside are a pleasure.“

“HI, I have to be honest. I was trying to find a way to contact Flappy Jacks as I have a proposition I think would be perfect for Flappy Jacks I have what is probably a bit of an unusual idea. Or maybe just a good idea. I know it is an unusual way to contact you but there was no email address. So I hope this works. I am from Columbia Missouri and I am visiting my Son, Grand Kids, and family there, just a few blocks to the East of Tustin. I am a musician, part time, and I like to street busk (play music on the streets) for grins. I noticed your nostalgic decor and your Elvis statues and the mural featuring the St Louis Arch, which is in Missouri on the Mississippi, of course, where I am from, and the 1930s, 40s and 50s nostalgia, and I wondered if you ever considered, or entertained the notion of having a little nostalgic live music, every now and then, perhaps even if only just once as an experiment. I just happen to play that old classic blues from that era, mostly, at least in this capacity, as Mr. Fletcher's One Man Blues Band. And I thought we might make a pretty good match up. As I said, at least, as an experiment. You can check me out at Facebook "Keith Fletcher, musician." Though most of that music is from my original music shows, and not my one man blues sets. I noticed you had a nice patio area where I could play outside and it might be a nice treat for your customers to have a bit of entertainment, just for a change of pace. They might really appreciate it since they obviously like your atmosphere. I don't play loud music. Unless folks want that, but I prefer to play soft. Or at least in situations like this. I've been the house band for BBQ joints and restaurants on several occasions. So I am familiar with the proper decorum. Mostly I was just looking for a little music adventure in CA within a walking distance of my Son's house, where I could carry a very tiny amp about the size of a cracker box, and my guitar to a gig. I thought maybe about just doing a street gig but saw your venue and something seemed to click. I hope you think so too. I estimate you are about a mile walking distance from his house and I only need an electrical plug. And probably some cool beverages. Like I said, I'm mostly in it for a small musical adventure, and so will play for tips, though, maybe you can pay me with free cold beverages, especially if it is hot, and maybe a sandwich or meal depending on how long I am there. It all looks delicious to me. If you find you'd like to host me again, and want me back, that might be possible over the week, and I may be back for the Christmas holiday. I might even be able to talk my Son into bringing the kids and family. Could be a total bust, or could be a very nice thing, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Who knows? If it worked out well enough for both of us, you might even want to do it again sometime, Maybe even offer some kind of fee next time, if there is a next time. Life is an adventure. “This LA bakery is a must-visit for anyone craving a delightful pastry experience. Despite the long wait for parking and entry (over 30 minutes), the staff was incredibly quick and friendly, managing to keep the crowd moving smoothly.

The bakery itself is a sight to behold, with its vast expanse of baked goods and an open kitchen that showcases their delectable creations. We indulged in a variety of items, including almond croissant, cinnamon croissant, chicken sandwich, eclair, cream cheese guava strudels, chicken croquettes, spinach puff pastry, biscuits, chicken empanadas, and wheat bread.

The biscuits were a standout, filled with gooey caramel and chocolate. The eclair was a melt-in-your-mouth masterpiece. Every bite was a blissful experience, thanks to the freshly baked, warm pastries.

While the chicken sandwich was a bit of a letdown compared to the other pastries, it was still enjoyable. Overall, this bakery offers an amazing experience and is definitely worth a visit.“

“The pizza overall is decent, I've had better, but the crust is pretty great. They have creative pizzas like an Indian curry style pizza and a spicy Thai style pizza. The Indian curry pizza was decent, but I would have preferred more sauce and toppings. This time I got the Meat Lovers pizza and largely felt the same about it. The only off putting things about the place is that there's a TV playing a loop of a weird program "The Supreme Master", which gave me strong cult vibes. Updated from previous review on 2025-11-21“

“I decided to use Taylor Made when planning a small event from the east coast. In part my decision was based on the positive reviews I read and the varied options for food items, but primarily because the customer service was excellent. Right from my first inquiry through to ordering and delivery, I experienced prompt email communication with many team members.
Day of event food was delivered right on time and well packaged in containers which kept hot foods warm and everything well secured during transport. Perhaps the only negative for me was that the spinach dip which I had ordered for 12 people could have fed an army! Better advise on that portion would have been appreciated as it was costly and although very good, I had to dispose of 80% of it. Highly recommend for catering.“

The chef and mother of the restaurant who created the dough and menu was available to talk to and thank. Her son was our waiter and was like family by the time we left. “We came for Sunday dinner with our 2.5yo toddler (part of the Irvine Company kids eat free special). Our server Yazzie was very accommodating and patient with all of our spills and messes. We were seated within 5-10 minutes. Everyone at this location was very friendly and in good moods. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and would come back in a heartbeat during the kids eat free season (other times during the year it’s just much easier to eat at home with a toddler haha).“

This little to go joint looks totally out of place on the strip, in the best way. It’s got that big city order at the counter type of vibe except the staff is actually friendly, and the service is quick. The pizza? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfect crispy crust, loads of cheese, and just the right amount of good greasy. Nothing fancy…just damn good pizza. We grabbed ours and ate it down the street, and somehow the whole experience just hit different. A true gem.“

“Was next door at the optometrist. Saw they had vegan options. Walked in nice place lots of vegan vegetarian options. There cupcakes, cookies, Bundt cake , donuts and ice cream. All gluten free. Decided to try the filled cupcake and Bundt cake. Had good texture and sweetness. Everything is labeled very well so you if it vegan or vegetarian or egg free.“

As soon as I stepped into the cafe, I was met with a high ceiling that was a refreshing break from more of the low ceiling office spaces that I had been studying in. The layout and decor is well put together with the napkins, coffee cup sleeves, and utensils being easily accessible and out of the way from any lines that may form. I’ve also delighted in the presence of board games and enough seating to host these board games! The space is fitting for any who seeks to study with enough accessible outlets within reach wherever you sit. There’s also a maker space area right next door, and in a sense because there is no closed doors between the cafe seating area and the maker space market - it just makes the space feel even more spacious!

I ordered an iced chai latte spiced with nonfat milk. It came out to be $6 for a large cup size. I took one sip and all my worries for the day seemed to have melted away! Praise God! It was incredibly thoughtful to have stickers placed on the drink so that you would know who made your drink. The staff are all kind and hard working - God bless you all.

I want to be back to try the other drinks because it seems like there’s a new seasonal drink incorporating mushrooms, which I have not heard before.

“Amazing and delicious food. Had the regular karaage and the sweat and sour karaage. Both were juicy and flavorful. Portions were larger than I expected. The miso was also pretty good. Enjoyed the meal with a Calpico but they had beers available.

Best karaage we have had outside of Japan! Karaage was gluten free so that was great. The potato croquettes are not gluten free. Sad we didn't find this place sooner. We will be back!“
