“This is the OG spot. Been coming to Philly’s Best for more than 20 years and have a lot of great memories especially at this location! Went to a different one today and they didn’t have the pepper/pickle bar, didn’t serve beer, and no condiments at the tables like this place does.

Not making that mistake again, this was the first Phillys Best where the chain was born and it’s still the best

Parking: Super easy to find parking here, I’ve never had a problem

Kid-friendliness: My dad used to bring me here all the time growing up and I loved the arcade games they had in the corner by the bathroom

“I was genuinely impressed by the quality and flavor of my Amuna's Tuna sandwich. Everything tasted incredibly fresh—from the Dutch Crunch, crisp bread to the well-seasoned proteins tuna. You can tell they prioritize quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve.

The sandwich was clearly sourced with care, and nothing felt processed or artificial. I loved how my meal was bursting with flavor.

“This location is the only one I go to that they dont have the freshest bread and no spicy mustard. All the locations I go to have spicy brown mustard. Not the associates fault ,but whomever the location owner is.
Idk about the bread ,its never fluffy like the other locations. I cant eat the end peices because of it. I order a giant, but once im done its more like a med because of those peices I have to toss out.“

“Lee’s Sandwiches is a classic. If you're craving Vietnamese coffee, this is the spot. It’s sweet, creamy, packed with caffeine, and ice cold. I've been coming to this location since I was a kid and they've always had a lot of customers. It's still here too which goes to show you how good this particular location is.

Their banh mi are always tasty and consistent. Prices have gone up a bit over time, but it’s still a reliable go-to when you want something satisfying and quick.“

“We came in last night and had such wonderful service from Ken and Pablo, so we actually were craving Subway again. This time we were met with a different set of employees and were very pleased that we received the same great service as we did last night. Today, Sylvia made our Sandwiches and soup. She was very polite and made our orders perfectly!! It’s quite unusual for me to review a place a second time, and especially this close together, but I just felt led to write this so that management knows they’ve done a heck of a job with these hires! “Had a good experience at this THH. It was a great spot for a quick bite and they had a large selection of ready made foods. We just got a few different banh mi. My son and husband got bbq pork and lemongrass beef. They said the pork was the way to go. I had the fried shrimp and really enjoyed it. We also picked up some spring rolls. The Vietnamese iced coffees are nuclear strong, but super good. My husband has tried other locations and said this one is different and has more ready-made foods. It was pretty busy when we went there. I would go back. I saw a lot of things I want to try next time.“

“Growing up outside Philadelphia, I’m always on the hunt for authentic Philly cheese steaks. John’s has excellent cheese steaks and has been a Huntington Beach favorite for decades. The bread is amazing and baked locally which is a key ingredient to simply amazing sandwiches! They stuff a lot of meat and cheese and peppers and onions in there, and the result makes ya wanna shout, “Go Birds!” Someone will probably shout it back, too. If you like cheese steaks, yeah, get em the way ya like them at John’s!“

I cant pick a favorite because every time I try a new one it's just as good as the last. The owner Nadine also makes a Hawaiian hamburger that's just heaven.

Banhmi better than any I have tried in the Vietnamese shops.
The best Ruben I have ever had as well. Yummy potato salad or macaroni salad made there daily and a fresh cookie with each sandwich.“

A few of my favorites are the Walnut Chicken Sandwich, Jalapeño Chicken, Jalapeño Tuna, and Cranberry Turkey. The sandwiches are filled with fresh ingredients, and the sourdough and squaw are my go-to bread choices. The combos include a drink and chips. Salads are also available.

I usually come in for lunch with little to no waiting. There are a few tables to dine at, but I typically take my order to go.

They never make me feel rushed, and they always give me whatever condiments I need even if I ask for extra sauces or something small like gloves.
