“BEST CURRY around. Best curry in all of LA that I've tried and thankfully their prices are acceptable for our family to be able to come here and eat. Highly recommend. Tikka Masala is excellent and garlic naan is yummy. If bringing children they will likely be able to handle the masala but be sure to sample anything else to test the spiciness. I enjoy it All but not everyone has the same pallet. I almost always eat in the parking lot in my car because it's too good to wait to get home! “I eat Indian food a couple of times a month. There's a great place in Inglewood for Indian food, when I lived around there. However, it is too far now and too expensive for casual eating.I have some friends who are Indian who sometimes make really amazing dishes.Punjabi hits the button on being close and price. It's a bargain for what you get. They even give you a nice little dessert!The sauces could be more spicy. They are toned down for the locale. Im sure if I ask for extra spicy, they'd do so, but it works as it is for my family to eat.If you want some Indian food to hit the spot without breaking the bank, give this place a shot. Just ask for extra spice or extra spice seasoning on the side if you like it to burn.“

I have chicken Makhani , Tikka masala, and vindaloo. try Chana masala and aloo Gobi for vegan. I love that the rice is cooked well. Rice pudding is so yummy. I love taking leftovers to reheat. “This past weekend, my brother invited my mom and I to eat at India Gate. It was my first time going, and I'm so glad I tagged along! The food was delicious, and I loved that they had so many options for those who are vegetarian. I'm personally not vegetarian, but my mom is so to see they had so many options for her was really nice. Not many restaurants cater to those who are vegetarian, but India Gate definitely does.I personally ended up eating more of the vegetarian options than the meat options and did not miss the meat one bit. The vegetarian options were just as satisfying, if not more satisfying than their meat filled counterparts.The fresh Naan was also SO delicious! It was fresh and so soft. It paired perfectly with all the food they had to offer. The best part is it's unlimited so you can have all the Naan your heart desires. I personally had a good couple of pieces and do not regret it one bit.To top off the delicious food, I had some of their mango pudding, which had mixed fruit in it. It was the perfect way to wrap up an already delicious meal. I have to admit, it was so good I had two servings of it. Sorry, not sorry. Once you taste it, you'll understand why I loved it so much. With that said, if you love Indian Food and are on the fence about trying India Gate, don't be. I say try it at least once. I'm sure you won't be disappointed by the food or service.The establishment itself isn't anything fancy, but the food is SO good, I could care less. The restaurant may not be Instagram worthy, but the food sure is. There was not one thing I tried that I didn't like. Every single thing was delicious. I highly recommend it.And for $15.99 per person for all you can eat, you cannot complain! Their price is an amazing price for an all you can eat establishment. I definitely recommend checking it out at least once, and yes, I know I'm repeating myself at this point, but it's SO good, I must insist everyone try it at least once. Just once. Mango lassi was the best I would say. The paneer makhni was too tangy and tasted tomato all over. Dal tadka was slightly watery and could be thicker.Good place for a quick bite. Entree is enough to feed 2 if not 3. Chicken momos were delicious! Extremely plump and juicy. I didn't love the sauce that came with it. It was tangy and felt a bit carbonated. The carbonation to it was a little off putting but the flavor was there. I hope that I didn't get served a bad batch so I'll assume that the sparklingness to it was intended.The rice was very aromatic and fluffy. Garlic naan was delicious! The India truly comprises the best of everything, the food, the decor and the top-notch service. Now I have to say I am not an Indian food expert, but everything and I mean everything I tasted, was delicious. The staff seemed to anticipate our every need. Indeed, my 5 year old granddaughter said she was thirsty even before we sat down and one of the staff must have heard her and immediately brought her her own cup (with lid and straw!) of water without even being asked! Impressive. The Nan bread was exceptional and all the different dishes we had, from butter chicken to chicken Tiki Masala and several others, were perfection itself. I wish I would have gotten the names of the staff so I could commend them individually, but it was a busy family table, so...suffice it to say they were ALL marvelous, professional but kind. I am sooo going back! Butter chicken here I come! ☆☆☆☆☆+Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian, however I sampled several vegetarian dishes my daughter in law had ordered and they were DELICIOUS!
