“Great place to see local and touring bands. Not a lot of seating options. Only one bathroom stall for the ladies room. The drinks are priced "Hollywood style" but they're really friendly. It has a large parking structure in the back of the establishment. The sign is really small to see so unless you know this place, you might miss it on the first visit“

“Food is good (its spaghetti sooo..) price is ok, about 9$ a plate, they have Asian inspired dishes. Service is ok, small place, can get crowded.
I like this Gardena instation, but really it's just good basic pasta. Nothing to write home about, but consistent and good enough.“

THE YOUNG LADY WHO TOOK MY ORDER OVER THE PHONE WAS SO HELPFUL.
THEN WHEN I ARRIVED THE YOUNG MAN WHO HELPED ME WITH MY TRANSACTION MADE MY EXPERIENCE EVEN MORE PLEASANT.

“YO! This pasta. OH MY GOSH. I got the angel hair with the pink sauce and … it was one of the best things to grace my lips. It. Was. So. Good. I cannot wait to have my leftovers until later, so breakfast it is! Highly highly highly recommend checking this place out! And the service is absolutely incredible.“

“Love the California sunshine pizza, the penne pasta with pink sauce and mushrooms, Caesar salad, garlic bread, calamari, shrimp scampi, chef extraordinaire Julie Munn and crew! Food is always delicious whether eat in or takeout. The California sunshine pizza is even better the next day unheated! That's how good it is. All vegan 🌱 and organic greens😋🤤“

“The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.“

Garlic Shrimp⭐⭐⭐ The shrimp were fresh, but the portion was small (only 5 for $18) and the garlic flavor was not prominent enough. “It was our first time at L'Opera and I'd say the experience was excellent. The staff are very friendly from the time you walk in, up to the time you leave. The food is delicious. My daughter had the rack of lamb. I had the filet mignon. Plus their homemade ravioli, minestrone soup and tri color salad. I wanted to try their dessert too but were so full from the rich meal we had that we don't have any more room left for it. We will definitely come back and bring friends with us next time.“

“What a fantastic discovery. I was craving calzones and used to have a spot in Los Feliz which I would go out of my way for. After trying a few places which fell short of the mark in South Bay, I almost gave up on finding authentic Italian food locally. The search was worth it as this is now going to be one of my forever places to come on a regular basis. From the calzone, to the pizza, salads and even the Cannoli Siciliani Pistacchio, everything has been nothing short of amazing. To top it off, it’s family run and they are all the sweetest and most warm people I’ve encountered at any local restaurant. If you haven’t tried them yet, you need to stop by.“

“Even though it was a chilly February evening, we enjoyed sitting outside with numerous patio heaters turned on. We sat a table for 2 next to a patio heater. The wine selection by the glass is limited and we sampled 3 different reds before deciding on an Italian red wine. We shared an artichoke salad (listed as a special) and it was excellent. We were somewhat disappointed with the Bufalina pizza that we shared. We added prosciutto but the pizza crust was "wet" - not "dry" & my spouse thought the prosciutto should have been cut into smaller pieces.“

“We were headed to our hotel from Venice Beach and craving Italian. Driving past Italy’s Little Kitchen, we decided to take a chance and try it out. When I tell you words can’t describe how delicious their food was. My 5yr old son rarely eats much of his food when dining out, he’s more of a snacked/small meals throughout the day and he ate 3/4 of his pizza. Below is my leftover Chicken Piccata and a sliver of their fresh bread. I didn’t think my food could get any better, but this late night snack was 100% better. The chicken & vegetables marinated in the capers & sauce. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by. I promise you won’t regret.“

“As someone who grew up near Philly, this is the best cheesesteak I’ve had in LA.
Comes with mushroom and onions, which is a must. The bread was pillowy and soft, and while some prefer a crunchy toasted cheesesteak, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not overly greasy, clean beef cuts, and the it was THE RIGHT CHEESE. I also got the garlic fries which were great.
Definitely get a cheesesteak here to satisfy the craving.“

“Got the Giulio sandwich. The small was still pretty big and decent price. The meats were fresh and the bread was soft. The staff was really nice.
The food can take awhile to make given it's so busy during the lunch rush. The market itself is nice for getting many Italian items like olive oil, fresh pasta and tinned fish.
The outdoor seating is nice but also next to a busy street so it can get loud.“
