The food was delicious; I had the Hamburger salad (salad with perfectly seasoned burger patties with cheese, pickles, tomatoes, "melted onions") and my friend had a burger that comes with fries and salad and looked like it was right out of a magazine photo shoot. We both asked for small changes and we got cheerful assurance that it would be no problem and our orders were perfect. So many delicious looking things on the menu, can't wait to go back and try more!”

“Food was good (we tried gobi manchurian, paneer tikka masala, butter, onion and garlic naan along with mango lassi) and the service was nice but there is only one person serving all the customers so there will be a bit of a delay but the guy is very courteous and takes care of the customers well. There was also a lunch buffet for $17.99 but the options were very limited so we went with a la carte.”

“Great delicious tasting food. Have eaten here a few times now trying different main dishes, appetizers and sides; they have all been delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful and were even kind enough to check what level of heat in the spices we preferred in our curry. We tried both the mango and malai Crown Kulfi ice creams today which were full of flavor and creamy. There’s lots of dishes to choose from including desserts. Highly recommend.”

“My first chance to return to California in 3+ years. There are thousands awaiting a first store opening in Albuquerque where they will be a sure success. That said I found my burger and fries not to stack up so well at the higher prices now prevailing. I believe the competitive offerings from the other long-time competing chains have made notable strides up the price/performance curve -- especially important for we seniors who are pretty dependent on discounts whenever and wherever we are able to get out and sbout.”

“We ordered breakfast to go. The dishes were really good. Lots of flavor and cooked with fresh ingredients. We spiced up the food with hot sauce. Cozy restaurant with plenty of sitting space. Recommend the corn beef hash, vegetable omelet and the hangover skillet. Definitely will come back again.”

“This is a brewery. Major difference vs a pour room or a tap room that just resells beer as they are brew masters that BREW THEIR OWN BEER. I've had the honor of witnessing these guys start from brewing out of their garage to what it is today and I have to say that the passion to get new and good beer out there is inspiring. The beers themselves are fantastic, just pick your poison. Fun atmosphere, games to play, family friendly as well. If you love beer, you'll love it here.”

“Every now and again you come across a Gem and Los Costenitos is most definitely a Gem! My Wet Burrito for lunch was the best I had during the 6-week period I was in the US by some margin. The service was also excellent. Nice job and thank you.

“What a nice treat for gilroy. The food here is hella good! The bulgogi cheesesteak was a hella good twist on a classic. The second time I came here I had the grilled cheese with pork, and that was to die for. I’ve lived/worked in Gilroy for 7 years and you just don’t really find this sort of good food here in town. It’s hard to explain but it just seems a bit elevated from the traditional fare around here. My perfect example would be the onion rings. A relatively pedestrian dish that you can get at many places, but this was the first place I’ve gone to in my life that I’ve been absolutely craving the onion rings from. I can’t wait to continue to try more items on the menu !”

“Been here several times; the food is always delicious. It is traditional California style Mexican food. I've eaten Mexican food in Mexico and to me CA style is better. I wouldn't say this food is the best I've had, but when I'm craving a chili verde burrito, beans/rice, it works, and it is tasty. They serve their sodas in cans with a glass of ice. Each time you want a new soda you have to buy a new can. It's a bit expensive, about $42 for 2 adults with no drinks or tip. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is nice.”

“I was a bit concerned when I saw the prices... but the food was absolutely worth it. Everything was fantastic. The sushi was delicious, the salmon teriyaki was cooked perfectly, and the tempura was amazing. I am definitely going back to try more of the sushi... there are so many more that sound incredible.”

“Followed a garlic truck into town and wasn’t disappointed. The garlic chicken sandwich came on delicious flakey French bread and the garlic cream soup was AMAZING. The garlic was so fragrant. The soup before the sandwich made me wish for a smidgen of salt on the chicken.

My husband had the garlic burger which came fully loaded!!! The Gorgonzola mayo is funky but yummy. Garlic fries were lack luster and needed salt since they were just frozen crinkle fries with with delicious crumbled garlic n dry parm.

Lots of lighter more Mediterranean options. Atmosphere was definitely old time Greek/tuscan diner. Price was appropriate for atmosphere but the food was worth more.”

“Stopped here one evening on a road trip. We had the fish and chips and sweet cream pancakes. I couldn't believe my eyes when the pancakes came out, each one was bigger than our faces! The fish and chips entree was share-sized too, but I'm a sucker for fried anything so I'm merely mentioning the portion size for other folks... not myself. The food itself was nice, but not great. Pancakes were a little dry, and the fried fish was just alright. Huge menu, so there might be better options we didn't get to try.

Love the warm atmosphere and deco though, and it's what brought us in. Like another review said, bears everywhere. It's kinda like you're in a cabin, except that the bears got in right with you. I would return if I wanted something familiar in a warm, comfy setting. Next time I'm trying the chicken and waffles.”
