“My wife and I came here to grab lunch since we were already in the plaza picking up food at another place. We came before the lunch rush so they were able to sit us quick. My wife and I came here before when they first open.

Finding parking in the small plaza is a hit or miss so just be aware of that. Our server was Jenny and we thought she was good but the service was just slow. It wasn't even lunch but I think they only had 2 waitress working and they were kind of busy already because it was a cold rainy day.

My wife got the Spicy Miso Ramen at level 3 with chicken. I got the Chef Favorite Shoyu Ramen at level 3 spiciness. My wife also got her milk tea which she loves here. We thought our ramen soup was okay but it wouldn't be our go to place for ramen.“

“Walking into this place the first thing you will notice is that it is very simple. There are six stills that line two of the walls with a communal table in the center. I am warning you ahead of time that the tables and stools are not tall people friendly.
Moving on, this place is not for people who have no patience. However for those of you who appreciate the time it takes to make great food then you will be right at home.
I got the Tonkotsu with pork belly and opted for the very spicy level. There are layers of flavor in this broth. The noodles have a great chew and the more I dug through this dish I discovered more spice. It wasn’t spicy for me but it was enjoyable.
I also went with their pork belly bun. It had a great flavor and it was incredibly tender. My final choice was the edamame and that too was perfectly cooked and seasoned.
For those of you who appreciate flavor over ambiance this is the place to go.“

“Visiting from out of town, and happened to have dinner here. I liked that the place was easy to find, and had lots of parking. The service was top notch! Very attentive, quick, and friendly! Hubby had the lime and chili ramen and really enjoyed it. It was very flavorful. I had the yakisoba noodles with pork. The pork was lovely and well cooked. Very tender! But, for me, the sauce on the noodles was really heavy on vinegar. I was expecting/wanting a more savory/umami flavor. They were way too sour for my taste. I’m certain that there would have been a lot of other menu items I would have enjoyed! I wish I’d tried their miso ramen instead of the yakisoba.“

“My very first time at Jinya Ramen Bar in Studio City and everything was beyond fantastic, from the service from our waitresses Juliana and Sophie, and the food. I can’t say anything bad about this place and my experience.

“I’d say even though waiting time was quite long (but to be fair, the place was really busy), I can get over that because the staff were super friendly. The portion wasn’t huge, but that’s actually a good thing . I’m not fan of wasting food, and since it’s not oversized, you can actually finish your plate. Plus, the price is really good, one of less locations where you get a real dish im mean not fastfood for these price 👍🏽“

“Oh my gosh, this ramen was absolutely amazing! Super five stars from me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service was great too! I’m usually not even a carb person, but I finished the whole bowl of noodles—yes, every bite. The broth was so flavorful, and the chashu pork just melted in my mouth. So satisfying!“

“Stopped here a couple of times, and both times it was very good! On this occasion we got the eel bento and the chicken katsu curry. Both dishes came with very generous portions! The prices are amazing! I would definitely recommend coming by for a bite.“

“I got the kuromayu and it was delicious. Tasted like getting a hug. My husband especially loved their chashu.

The popcorn shrimp was way less bready than other places’.

“We were 5 ppl ,ordered like 8 dishes all were amazingly great my first time to Gokaku Rama. Was so worth it after all day in universal su Dr ios,3 min drive to Gokaku place ..I did not want to end my meal .this is the best restaurant“

“Honestly, I would give more stars if I could. The ambiance and restaurant itself was very elegant but cozy. Every dish we tried was incredible, we started with appetizers the crispy rice with tuna was cooked to perfection as well as the cucumber and avocado salad, which was delicious and flavorful.
Some of my FAVORITES included the yellowtail and jalepenos which i would highlyyy recommend. The Jessica Roll was absolutely to die for and melted in your mouth. We had a few other rolls including the lemon roll and fantasy roll while also grabbing the salmon and yellowtail belly.
Everything was super fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend stopping by here whether it be with friends to catch up or your significant other for a date.“

I always pass by here on my way to work (when it's still closed) and when I get off work (when it's too hot to eat ramen) so I never been here and today is my first time to eat here.

They have a deal for: 1 appetizer (pork bun), 1 main course (pork, egg, and ramen noodle soup in pork base) soup, and 1 drink ( Thai iced tea) for only $35!

It was one of the best munchies I've ever had.“

“My local ramen spot in Valley Glen, Los Angeles, California on the border of Van Nuys and neighboring North Hollwood. Ramen Izakaya is great from take out or dine with a plethora of beverage options as well as eats. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. A unique Japanese cuisine eatery with some LA Valley flavor and modern plant-based flare.“

“I like this location over the other locations because there is always parking, friendly service, and very quick! While the ramen choices aren't traditional, they are very consistent and tastes good all the same! I think they have the best tofu in ramen, it is soft and silky without falling apart. Their garlic edamame is also very tasty!“

Our waitress, Gizelle D, was absolutely fantastic! She was warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed throughout our meal. “My first time coming here was with coworkers over a year ago…. Tasteful ramen! Then I started bringing my family, and we stop by every now and then when I bring up ramen for dinner/lunch… Masa Ramen has become my go to place & at this point I don’t plan on venturing else where in SCV for ramen. The service is always great and the owners (I’m guessing) are always pleasant and genuine as well. My family is a fan of One Piece so we enjoy the pictures they have around the shop.
My go to ramen is the chipotle ramen, my kids tend to go for the masa, shoyu, or chipotle ramen as well. My partner’s go to is the curry ramen and the spicy mabo ramen. Appetizers that are our go to are the gyoza, chicken karaage and the chicken fried rice. The food is ALWAYS DELICIOUS!!🌟Just had to say put that in here.“

I don't care for meat too much so I got it with no meat and extra egg. also the original has no spice to it so l asked for a side of the chili paste so I can fix it up to my spice level. “I love eating here! The service is always so awesome. I love that it's tucked away, and every time I've brought someone to eat here they don't expect that the restaurant is here. As for the food, it's DELICIOUS! My son is picky, and even he couldn't deny how good the food is. The ramen is amazing, it's so good and the portions are hearty. I usually end up getting a ramen combo with a chashu bowl. Now, I get to eat there AND have delicious leftovers. “I finally tried Silverlake Ramen at the Porter Ranch Vineyards, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I’ve heard about Silverlake Ramen for years, so I was excited when they opened one so close to my house. I don’t remember the exact name of my order, but it was a chicken-based broth and I chose tofu as my protein (you can pick chicken, pork, or tofu). Seriously—YUM. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the toppings were just the right amount, and I completely got lost in that broth.

Everything was fairly priced, delicious, and the service was attentive and genuinely upbeat. I’m absolutely going back. We also tried a couple of appetizers—the gyoza and the crispy rice with spicy tuna—and both were great!“

“I’ve eaten at Kita a few times now and it really stands out among the restaurants in the area. The ramen is consistently filling and fresh, with tender, flavorful chashu pork that melts in your mouth. Their bento box meals are generous and satisfying, with great portion sizes. The fish is impressively fresh since the staff mentioned it is delivered every morning, and you can definitely taste the difference.

The staff are sweet, professional, and always provide quick service, which makes Kita a perfect spot for a lunch break during work hours. I’ll definitely be coming back. It has become one of my local favorites. Highly recommend.“

“From the moment I stepped in, I could tell this place was something special. The atmosphere was calm, clean, and welcoming — perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. “The store itself felt a little empty decoration wise. They had one waitress working, but she was very attentive. Each table had tablets(ours lost charge) where you could order everything. It's great especially if you are introverted or indecisive and need extra time. If you prefer, they do also have regular menus. The food itself was amazing. They brought every thing out fairly quickly. I highly recommend the shishido peppers for an appetizer. Definitely coming again.“

“Yes it’s to-go only. Yes it’s still amazing, I love coming here for thai food. Nui is such a kind and thoughtful person, I have never had a bad experience with anyone from the ThaiMeUp! staff. The appetizers are amazing, i’ve tried every single one. My favorite dishes are always the curry or noodle entrees, yellow curry or pad thai. One of the main reasons I come here so much is that I get to choose how spicy I want the food to be, a lot of other thai restaurants will let you order “spicy” and they just add a mound of black pepper. Not here. If i want spicy I’m guaranteed a delicious floral spice that burns my face and can even clear out my sinus. I love the fact that they do not gate keep the spice levels here. You get what you want and what you ordered. I’ve been going here for over a year now since I moved to LA and I make it a point to come once a month at the very least, at one point i was going once a week. I should have done this review a lot sooner, I feel like the ThaiMeUp! staff deserves their own sit down restaurant were they can provide their food to a much larger audience. I will come here for as long as those doors are open, i love coming to eat here and have easily had my friends try it just to tell me they love it as well. “I get the Chicken Ramen from this place all the time. I used to come here before it turned into a Hot Pot Place, and worried the Togo food would eventually go down hill. Nope. The food is delicious. And the hot pot is amazing. I go here all the time and they're always so nice, quick and unlike some other places they're happy to refill the sides, vegetables, and appetizers at the bar. “This place doesn’t shout for attention, but the tonkotsu ramen is rich, creamy, and deeply comforting. Noodles had the right bounce, and the broth was clearly simmered for hours. The staff are quick without rushing you. I ended up slurping every last drop. A neighborhood gem for sure“
