“Randomly decided on this place last minute and what a hidden gem. It was pretty busy but no wait. They had beer, wine, and even Pepsi Zero which is rare! While visiting Folsom I stumbled upon this gem of a place. I ordered a rice teriyaki dish with tofu and vegetables.
It was excellent!! Real tofu not the spongy kind. The portion was a good size. It was so tasty and light. Not full of oil. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly and had lots of pride on his excellent dish. I ordered a to go chicken noodle dish for my son. He also raved about how good it was. My new favorite place to go to.“

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. And don’t even get me started on the gyoza—easily the best in town. Pam seared to perfection on the outside, flavorful inside, and always served piping hot.

The food was pretty good on par with other sushi restaurants around. Inside there a moderately loud environment but nothing that prevented conversation. “Absolute gem of a sushi place. I have lived in Japan and this is the most authentic look, feel and taste of a sushi place I have visited stateside. It's certainly not fancy, but it would not be out of place in a back alley of Osaka. Authentic prices too, very reasonable for the quantity and quality.

“We love this sushi spot! And we’ve been allllll over the el dorado hills and Folsom area looking for the best most fresh fish. It has a new owner and you need it try it if you love fresh fish! They consolidated the older menu when they took over ownership and are making small changes to the atmosphere inside but it is DELISH!“
