My only con which wasn’t to intense was that there was not too much space. But they accommodated us to the bar. So overall by heart, it a 5 star!

The food was pretty good, the roll I ordered was labeled spicy but I didn't think it was spicy at all. The presentation was nice. The service was a little slow but staff was friendly. While visiting Folsom I stumbled upon this gem of a place. I ordered a rice teriyaki dish with tofu and vegetables.
It was excellent!! Real tofu not the spongy kind. The portion was a good size. It was so tasty and light. Not full of oil. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly and had lots of pride on his excellent dish. I ordered a to go chicken noodle dish for my son. He also raved about how good it was. My new favorite place to go to.“

“Every birthday it’s been tradition that we go. My son absolutely loves it! The service is always great. We do the hibachi grill and the food is soo good! I got the filet mignon and lobster tail. “I was looking for a sushi place with some reasonable prices, and found this place. I was a little hesitant to try it because of the name, but I'm glad I did!

Went with a few buddies, and we got some apps and each got two rolls. We left completely stuffed and happy. We didn't even finish our apps, even though we wanted to.

I would recommend trying the Roger roll. It comes out on its own plate, and is on fire to start! It was the first time I had a flambéed sushi roll, and it definitely imparted an irresistible flavor to it (similar to wok hei).“

“this was my first time eating Japanese food, as far as I know, definitely my first time trying sushi. we tried three plates and shared and it was delicious! I got the 911, and we got a volcano, I think, and I can't recall the third plate that we shared. it was delicious! unfortunately, there is no low carb option. The sushi is overwhelmed with salty rice. overall this is unhealthy food but I can't argue with the flavor. definitely not for someone on a low-carb diet, like me. but I made an exception for a date with a lovely lady. Don't get me wrong, I will return to try something else, but this is not a go-to for me because of the high carb rice.“

Imagine there's a sushi Restaurant randomly in the back of a winco or a foodmaxx or something alike, that's how it seems where this Restaurant was at. Nevertheless, despite initial appearances, the place felt almost like a hole In a wall type of establishment, the inside almost feel similar to a home as it is family owned and feels rather close to actual local establishments in Japan. 50% off sushi sounds too good to be true but the sushi is actually rather decent, though if you aren't careful you'd find yourself still paying for a hefty price (considering today's economy and all). Server was nice. Food didn't take long at all. Glad with the overall experience. The bathroom's also odd though cause it's locked oddly. You are prompted to knock before entering which is odd.“
