“Of all the tasting rooms and wineries my group went to, this was definitely my favorite and the most memorable. Kerith and her loyal rescue dog, Chewie, really make the experience an unforgettable one. The table was prepared beautifully and Kerith really brought the energy. The Zinfandel is the best I've ever had and wish I had gone home with more bottles but knew I could only go home with 12 bottles by the end of the trip & this was only Day 1! When I got home from my trip, I had a personalized card waiting for me in the mail from Kerith that was so kind which ensured that I would definitely be back sooner rather than later. Me and Chewie have a bond that can't be broken & I'm looking forward to rekindling our friendship soon.“

“Porter Creek Winery was such a peaceful gem and one of the highlights of our wine country trip. The team (Crystal) went above and beyond to accommodate us, even staying a little late so we could enjoy the experience — and we’re so grateful they did!

The setting was absolutely stunning — quiet, serene, and surrounded by natural beauty. It was the kind of view that makes you want to take a deep breath and stay a while. The wines were just as memorable, especially the Zinfandels — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

To top it all off, we were greeted by Poppy, the sweetest dog who made the whole experience even more charming. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible wines, and the peaceful ambiance, it was the perfect way to wind down our day.

“My husband and I had a wonderful wine tasting with Geoff last week during a getaway. We enjoyed learning about the history of the winery and trying a pinot flight. We shared our tasting with two other women on a trip which made for a fun experience. We also got a cheese board which was amazing and we appreciated having the option to get some food while trying the wine. The cheeses were great and well paired with the wine.“

“Such an amazing experience! We had the best time at Gary Farrell. The winery is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views, and everything just felt so relaxed and welcoming.

Michael was our host, and he was fantastic! You could tell how passionate he is about the wines, and he shared so much information without it ever feeling like a lecture. We all learned a ton, asked lots of questions, and he made the whole tasting fun and interactive.

One of my favorite little touches was that they had blankets out for guests. We had an earlier tasting, and it was a little chilly, so having those waiting for us was perfect. It’s such a small thing, but it really shows they think about the guest experience.

The wines were incredible, the charcuterie paired perfectly, and our whole group left saying how much we loved it. If you’re in Sonoma and looking for a winery with amazing wine, beautiful scenery, and genuinely wonderful people, definitely put Gary Farrell on your list. We’ll absolutely be back!“

“I loved my visit to Inman Family Wines—such a refreshing, authentic experience in the Russian River Valley. Kathleen Inman, a woman winemaker and founder of this woman-owned winery, is clearly doing something special.
The wines are high-quality Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wines with an elegant, balanced, restrained, food-friendly, terroir-driven style—nothing overdone, just really beautiful, expressive wines. And the Grenache!
It’s a small production, sustainability-focused winery, and you can feel that care in everything. The tasting was personal and educational, not rushed or commercial at all—more authentic.
This is what wine tasting should feel like. I felt like I was in a lovely small village in France and I've found a true gem.“

“This was the highlight of our recent trip to the area. We were celebrating my birthday and they personalized our menu with a Happy Birthday message. We sprang for the Bubble Room tasting with add-on caviar. Our two servers Enrique and Cory were very pleasant! The food was To. Die. For. and the wine was expertly paired, and generously poured. The atmosphere was wonderful. We live very far away, but I am already dreaming of coming back!“

“It's the place to go for quality champagne and brandy. I buy a case of the red wine champagne every fall. (Delicious!) I ordered the blackberry brandy online and rode my motorcycle to pick it up. (Nice ride!) There's a tasting room and small deli on-site. Clean bathrooms and helpful staff. I gave 5 stars because I didn't eat there, so if I do and the food (and service) are as good as the rest, I will update this review.“

“This was one of the most wonderful catered events I have attended in recent memory! My spouse and I hosted a Wedding Rehearsal Dinner for my son and his new spouse at DArgenzio Winery in Santa Rosa in early June of 2025. There were 35 attendees and we were catered to in the Cibo Rustico event room with a wine bar, relaxing music, bocci ball and incredible service. We selected numerous authentic Italian appetizers such as Vegan Salad, Ceasar's Salad, Rustic Fire Grilled Vegetables, Brochette breads, Caprisi Salad, and Pasta with Bolagnese and Pasta with Pesto sauces. That was followed by three delectable pizza selections (Margarita, Italian sausage and Pepperoni) and polished off with two desert selections of Chocolate Mouse and Tiramisu. Everyone in attendance was in awe of the dishes and ate until their hearts were content. We drank the DArgenzio Pinot Noir, Red Blend and Sauvignon Blanc and they were all terrific. I had forgotten that there was such a thing as "customer service" ever since the Covid19 debacle but the staff blew our socks off with friendly, attentive, professional and nurturing service for all members of the party. This was truly some of the best service I have ever seen and I would highly recommend this establishment. The cost was completely reasonable. My favorite parting shot of the event was watching all of our happy guests leave the event with boxes of awesome leftover food, bottles of extra wine and giant smiles on their face! Thank you DArgenzio Winery for making my Son's Wedding Rehearsal Dinner an unforgettable and epic event!“

“Upon arrival, we were treated to a welcome drink and use of an outdoor swing suspended by a very large tree, outside a restored white farmhouse. After touring the main floor, we headed upstairs to a large room with soaring vaulted ceilings. The room had access to a large balcony with great views of the vineyard. “We were looking for a California Pinot Noir to serve at our wedding and ended up choosing Donelan Two Brothers. We had such an enjoyable tasting with Chris, who was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a great introduction to Donelan’s wines and the story behind the family winery.

We were impressed across the board - elegant pinots, some really interesting syrahs, and chardonnays that had great balance and flavor without being overly buttery. We loved learning about Donelan’s focus on small-production wines and getting a sense for how the different vineyard locations come through in the wines. Two Brothers was the standout for us and ultimately an easy choice for our wedding.

“We stopped by on a warm Saturday afternoon, without a reservation and were pleased to be seated right away. From the moment you pull in, you feel at home. Bocce in the courtyard, pups on site, a water view among the vines. The balcony was shaded with umbrellas allowing the sun to warm the soul. The wines are part of the Wilson family, and we were so pleased with all of the pinot noirs. We could have spent the entire afternoon there.“

“Even though I visited the tasting room at the end of the day, I was greeted by our smiling host Darriene with a glass of Merriam 25th Anniversary Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine. Even though we did not have enough time to have a full tasting, she accommodated us with a high-energy, abbreviated version that was well over the expectation. During this time, we had a surprise visitor drop by our table to introduce himself- Peter Merriam himself! Some of my favorites during the tasting were the Semillon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and a very limited production Petit Verdot. There are many great takeaways from this organically farmed estate: from the friendly greeting of dogs and the tranquility of the property to their polished hospitality, you're in good hands.“

“Paul Hobbs was a PHENOMENAL visit during our April 2026 trip to wine country. Although we were primarily in Napa Valley, Paul Hobbs was 100% worth the drive-- be sure to schedule a driver! ;)

Drew M. was our host for the afternoon and he gave a glorious tour of the property. He is wildly knowledgeable, polished and professional, and we enjoyed every minute with him.

The tasting room is intimate and cozy-- we felt right at home! The vineyard is easily accessible and practically right outside the back door. Drew was wonderfully accommodating and allowed us to walk the grounds after providing a diverse selection of wines to try. He curated the most perfect tasting menu for our anniversary. What a treat!

The day we went was a tad rainy but the weather made the experience more special.

We were greeted by a cute grey tabby while we waited for our table.

Once seated we were welcomed with delicious wines and great ambience.

Slowly other wine tasters left and our group was the last.

Super charming and personalable winery.

Not to mention the wine will blow your socks off.
