“Stopped in just to grab lunch while visiting the area. Had the Hawaiian burger, a single cheese burger, fries, and coke. We ate inside and watched the people line up for food the entire time we ate lunch. Great small place with fresh food and welcoming staff.
The inside has four two tops for seating, but the park across the street is available with tables if needed. It's a cozy place.“

“A great burger. From my first year in the bay area there was something special about Nation's Giant Burgers, scattered around the East Bay. A juicy patty, cheese, with the fixings a nice clump of lettuce, onions and tomato, thick slab of cheese and pickles. Great thick fries, and pies.. seriously the best pie I ever had was at a Nation's. Their Strawberry Tart only offered when in season, is just large strawberries, a tasty almost shortbread crust and whipped cream. The one I had in 2001, days after 9/11, the strawberries were bursting with juice, almost like a jam, the skin barely holding, and. not too sweet, not too tart... In Plant City, Florida they have amazing strawberries.. previously the best I had ever tasted, but these, from a California Farm is what they said, are always going to be the best. �Other than their Strawberry Tart, I like their Banana Split, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, Pecan, Blueberry... well.. all of them. Never a bad choice. How I like my burger. Cheese, no dressing, grilled onions, light lettuce. Then I get hash browns and ham on the side (sometimes one egg also) and add them to the burger. Anyway. yes. 👍 more, again.“

“If I had to compare their burgers to something, it’d be a certain shack with shakes. Pricing is on par, considering that Tasty’s patties are larger than said shack, and this is a local place that doesn’t have the benefit of scale.

The Royal burger is fire. Literally melts in your mouth. Cooked perfectly without a hint of dryness. I wouldn’t expect super duper to exercise as much quality control with twice the staffing. The beef tallow fries needed a hint more salt, but you can control that yourself. Otherwise, the fries were hella good.

When I went on a Sunday afternoon, this Labor Day weekend, it looked like they had three people running the show. But they were churning out orders, and mine was perfectly made. They just opened in August, so temper your expectations and wipe down your own table. God forbid they can’t clean every table after three tourist families of five roll through 🙄. Saw a lot of people asking for accommodations and it sounded like they did their best to fulfill.

Downtown Sausalito on a holiday weekend is basically a pressure cooker for any restaurant, and they handled it expertly given their resources. Let them cook!“

“I'm old. I've been eating at M&Gs since the late fifties. Back in the day I savored a barbecue beef sandwich. That's no longer on the menu, my new go-to is the chili burger.
I'm so happy munching the burger sipping a lemonade marvelling at all the traffic and observing the bikers across the street drinking beer next to their mountain bikes that could pay three months of my rent. Blimey!“

They definitely beat McDonald's, because everything's made on the spot and the prices are pretty throwback too - this, the original M&G's, takes credit cards. They've got a few modern takes of fast food on the menu too. If you're thinking of a burger in downtown Fairfax, this is the place. There's another branch of M& G's on magnolia avenue Larkspur that's cash only, and just as good.“

Located in the Trader Joe’s parking lot @ Montecito PlazaWe had a super low battery on car, hungry & needed to go grocery shopping @ Trader Joe’s. Trifecta.We plugged into a ecar charger in front of the restaurant for Rockstar parking. We arrived hungry & left happy. We ordered a Cheeseburger combo with sweet potato fries. The place just had a huge crowd walk in before me, of at least 20 people. The cashier and orders with the kitchen were coordinated like a machine and no one waited for lunch.Thanks for Great Burger & service & Fries!

My husband and I split the seasonal salad (greens, feta, sweet potato, avocado, tangerine, radish, and pumpkin seeds with avocado lime dressing) The veggies were fresh and perky and I loved the combination of flavors. I got the chalet burger which featured a perfectly cooked, thick beef patty, toasted and floofy gluten-free bun, arugula, mushrooms, swiss cheese, tomato, and I added housemade pickles. Their bread is baked fresh daily, sandwiches are made with that personal touch and the cooler is stocked with a plethora of great choices. They have beer on tap, an outdoor patio area seated away from the bustle of the main road, solid Wi-Fi and plug-ins. My personal favorite is the Lostrami on Dutch Crunch.“

“A hidden gem in plain sight... Step back into a latin themed space, you could be in Cuba, Mexico or Guatemala. Great menu with American classics for breakfast and lunch and a whole Guatemalan menu to complement. You cannot go wrong, be adventurous and try a Guatemalan dish, you won't be disappointed! Attentive but low key service, be patient and enjoy your stay. Huevos rancheros are delicious, Mexican or Guatemalan style.“
