“First time I come here, ordered cauliflower pizza and pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Service was great, it was empty but i think that's because most people take to go. Ingredients are fresh, you can tell. The restaurant itself is very small but it looked clean.Parking: Parking lot in front of restaurant is tight and usually unavailable, but around the corner the space expands and there's more parking spots.“
“My son is a chef and would love to work at Heritage, helping to create their fabulous dishes. Sometimes I think he's a little jaded because he tastes delicious food every day. The delight and surprise on his face from the first mouthful at Heritage was worth any price. As for me, I would have eagerly licked the dishes once the food was gone, but my husband was giving me The Look, so I refrained.Dietary restrictions: I can't eat raw onions and my husband is allergic to beets. We gave the restaurant plenty of notice and the staff made adjustments. Everything was unbelievable.“
“If you're a fan of hearty, filling, flavorful food, then this is the spot for you. Even if you're not vegan, I would recommend trying this spot out. My wife and I went for lunch on a weekday afternoon. Wasn't busy at all, so we got to meet Gus and get his recommendations. Great guy and really made our experience. We ordered the goddess and seven layer bowls, their creamy potatoe soup, and their little desserts. I really enjoyed the seven layer bowl and would definitely get it again. Everything was cooked well, and the potatoes with their creamy sauce and everything else in that bowl go perfectly together. Portion sizes are pretty generous as well. If you have a sweet tooth, I would recommend their chocolate ganache with sea salt. Their dessert is like a small sauce cup size, so I would recommend getting more than one. Pro tip, it goes great with a banana. There's plenty of free parking in the little plaza that it's in, and it's close to the beach so you can pick up food and go eat it there like we did. Check this place out and hope you enjoy!“
“Been stopping by Tommy & Atticus since they opened in July. The country, round sour dough is our family favorite. We've tried morning sun citrus pastry (my fav), jalapeno/cheddar sour dough bread, lunch pizza & sandwiches. Great place, great customer service.“
“A vegan friend recommended going here and it did not disappoint. The brussels sprouts weren’t great, but I got the San Gennaro pizza and it was seriously one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, vegan or not. Nice atmosphere and I’ll definitely come back for this pizza.“
“Tive uma experiência maravilhosa no Oakberry de Hermosa. O atendimento foi incrível, an Alex nos recebeu de forma muito acolhedora e simpática, explicou tudo sobre o açaí. Ela também compartilhou suas dicas de toppings favoritos, que foram um grande sucesso. O açaí estava delicioso, e a equipe foi super atenciosa. Definitivamente, um lugar para voltar!“
“This place is a hidden gem. Nora was so nice, and the staff were super friendly! The food was delicious I got the Olivia ( croissant egg turkey sandwich) and it was incredible highly recommend it! Super tasty the side salad is really nice and the croissant was just perfect. You'll experience a little bit of french too, it was a very nice vibe. The outdoor patio is also nice and has shade.you don't just go for breakfast you'll get an entire experience:)) merci beaucoup!“
“People that give low star reviews to places because “the line is too long” or “I couldn’t find parking” are annoying. Are you expecting a coffee shop to be empty in the morning??The drinks and food are great, the staff is friendly. 5 stars.“
“First of all, it is very attractive that you can easily make reservations from Google and Yelp. The atmosphere inside the store is very cute. The appetizer artichoke is very delicious! ! ! This had really great seasoning and the sourness of the lemon was nice. It's so delicious that I want to come back just to eat it. The risotto and lemon tiramisu was also very delicious.“
“Jongewaard BAKE N BROIL is a hidden gem; in Bixby Knoll area of Long Beach; that took me straight back to the 50s with its quaint diner charm and mouthwatering treats. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by friendly faces and a warm atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Let's talk about the desserts - oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The Red Velvet cake stole the show with its rich flavor and perfect texture, earning the top spot on my list. But the German Chocolate cake wasn't far behind, delivering a decadent experience that left me craving more. And don't even get me started on the lemon cream cheese pie - it's a slice of heaven on a plate! But it's not just about the sweets at Jongewaard BAKE N BROIL. Their breakfast options are equally divine, especially the lemon blueberry pancakes, which were an absolute delight. And for those craving something heartier, the steak and eggs breakfast hit the spot, while the burgers and onion rings satisfied my savory cravings perfectly. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the welcoming atmosphere and the owner's commitment to giving young employees a chance to shine. It's refreshing to see a business that values community and opportunity as much as they value delicious food. Whether you're looking for a nostalgic trip down memory lane or simply craving some incredible comfort food, Jongewaard BAKE N BROIL is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Anyone saying otherwise is a hater! Support local businesses.“
“Can't go wrong with complimentary fresh baked bread served warm. Love Fritto Misto. We've dined in a few times and ordered takeout once. All experiences have been fantastic with staff & food, although on one visit my sauce was broken and I should have sent it back but definitely not a deterrent from future visits. Pasta is definitely made in house along with pretty much everything else. Some of the specials & really complex pasta dishes can be on the pricier side. I appreciate how affordable the simple choose your pasta & sauce option is. They don't accept reservations. This spot can be really busy during normal dinner times but if you go before 6:30 you can generally get a table easily, no problem. If you take any of their pasta to go and need to reheat it, do it on the stove & not in the microwave..“
“I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.“
“Excellent food, especially liked the sardines with crostini, will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Service was kind but slow, seemed like not enough staff at the front of house, and we had to ask for things like silverware or a drinks menu. Still, absolutely worth coming to.“
“This is mainly a gluten free bakery. If you’re dairy free too, you have about 4 options. Vegan chocolate chip cooks, brownie, vegan strawberry cheescake, and rye-bread. I had a club sandwich without, it was very good. All of them were solid, but the rye-bread was very impressive and really stood out compared to other gluten free breads out there.I spent about a year, making my own rice, based gf bread using a natural starter, but their bread is light years above anything I was ever able to make. It’s full-size bread loaf, thick cut slices, and can be eaten on its own, very addicting. Toasting then spreading vegan butter on top is amazing. My only wish is they have more dairy free options.Vegetarian options: Some vegan, lots of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, soy free, dairy free.“
“Great food, fast service. The waitress was friendly and they kept our coffee and water filled. The food was fresh although they weee out of asparagus and shrimp for my omelette. I had a vegetable mix that I selected myself. It came out just a few minutes after we ordered. The ham & eggs were great, too. The ham was bone in and thick. This place is a hidden gem.“
“Great vegan food. Great to see comfort food like Mac n cheeze and grilled cheeze and tomato soup (I appreciate the cheeze was cashew-based too). Chocolate mouse was fantastic. Great place to bring non vegan friends and have them dishes they know.“
“I've had a few cakes from this bakery and they are delicious. The bakery is very cute, def a neighborhood gem. The cakes are large and feed a good amount of people. I like that they can do vegan and everything is decorated beautifully.“
“Very simple place but very nice selection of Mochi. Reminded me when I was a kid. Remember only Cash and Checks had to go across the street to the market to get cash. They are going to make a great present for our neighbors who just went to Japan on vacation.“
“THANK YOU for the incredible birthday cake you created! The Great Dane-topped cake was most definitely the star of the weekend! Everyone loved it and was astonished at the amazing replica of our goofy blue merle Great Dane and his favorite toys, and the chocolate cake and buttercream icing were so delicious! You definitely "make happy" and, you make magic!“
“Needed to log in and give this 5 stars after having their in house made sourdough bread with jam. It was only $3 and I’m going to be thinking about it all week and probably get more, the bread was heavenly and I’m not even usually a sourdough fan. 100% the best bread in Long Beach and even LA that I’ve had. I used to live in Europe so I was missing fresh bread more than I realized.“
“Nothing wrong here. A cozy Mexican joint that my daughter and I had dinner at last week. Both of us enjoyed the food a lot and we would both go back. Service was excellent. I will be back if I'm ever in LAX area again.Parking: Parking is tight, but we squeezed in“
“My favorite cake place for more than 30 years. All the kids cakes came from her. They're all grown up. I just turned 46 and wanted a cake from nowhere except Torrance Bakery. You haven't had a cake until you've had a Torrance Bakery Cake“
“Even though I've never been there, we got 2 slices of pie delivered. 1 Cherry and 1 Mississippi Mudd..... unbelievable taste. DELICIOUS!!!. I would HIGHLY recommend The Pie Bar for your dessert fix.....please support this business you'll hate yourself if ya don't....“
“Ben's Fast Food was the yummiest thing I've eaten in a while. I had the food delivered, but will pick up going forward to avoid delivery charges and order meals for several days.I got a Chicken Garden Bowl. The vegetables were impeccably fresh and the pulled chicken made my eyes roll it was so delicious. The lemon thyme dressing was perfectly fresh and so flavorful, that just a bit was needed. The cashew chocolate pudding was so rich and luscious, but not overly sweet.I have been shopping prepared meal plans for a while now and haven't found one that has the great food, fair prices and has a healthy menu. Ben's will fill the bill for me.“
“Love coming here with my family the food is amazing the service great and you can bring your dog. Highly recommend.Parking: It's at the mall so parking is freeKid-friendliness: They always treat my toddler like their favorite guestWheelchair accessibility: There are plenty of tables and booths that are wheelchair friendly with indoor and patio tables“
“Many of the workers do not know a lot of basic questions regarding cakes and prices. I’ve ordered some drinks here over years and .. when a cup needs to be replaced before giving it to customers please do that because several times the cups are leaking every time you take a sip. Please be better at that. Thanks.“
“Needed a little thank-you gift for our neighbor, who has a doggo. Wanted to take some tasty and high quality treats over and found Ka Huelo Bakery. The owner is extremely knowledgable about all of her handmade products. The store is super clean and her all-natural, preservative-free dog treats were the perfect gift. Thank you!“
“I can’t say enough about Lido! I personally love the food, atmosphere and staff. I have also had several events in the back patio area, including a monthly Kiwanis meeting, and they are always seamless. Lisa, Carlos, Javier and the rest of the team always make sure everything runs smoothly. If you are just going to dinner or throwing a party this is a great spot!“
“This place is incredible. I dined here with my vegetarian son twice in five days, but I’m not a vegetarian. I didn’t miss the meat whatsoever. The food was seasoned so deliciously that it was simple to eat healthier. The texture and flavor of their “meat impostors” will trick your palate! My only criticism was the bathroom was not exactly the cleanest! Given the quality of the food, this seems like an easy fix!Vegetarian options: Nothing bland here!Parking: Several parking spotsKid-friendliness: Space for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Space for wheelchair or walker“
“It’s a cool concept and convenient for a quick meal pick up. It’s not a sit down restaurant, it’s like a collective of restaurants, like a food court but not because there’s only a couple places to sit and eat. You can order food online or at the site and pick up there. I didn’t know it was set up this way so it was confusing when driving there and trying to find it. The building says Daisy on it, you can park and go in.“
“Enjoyed the baguette with butter, Anchovy Cesar salad, the Yellow Tail Special with Capers and lemon sauce as well as the Escargot. Everything was absolutely delicious. the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was so quaint and homey. I really enjoyed my experience. Will definitely be returning and recommending.“
“I love donuts. They are delicious, enriched, simple and affordable. It is what all donuts should be. This shop lives up to that expectation. The yeast donuts are fluffy and have a subtle crunch from the cooking process. The croissants are huge and generously filled. The jalapenos had a nice kick. The owners a husband and wife were both in the shop. She handles transactions with good customer service and he loaded the case. It's a labor of love and much respect to this donut shop in Long Beach. It is worth the visit for a solid donut and coffee.Parking: It was raining and early when I went. Parking could be difficult when all businesses are open.“
“Got off the airport shuttle and went to this Middle Eastern restaurant in Inglewood close to the airport. It only has a couple tables inside so it's for carryout mostly it seems. Al Hamra has most of the classic favorites. Lots of the good stuff like falafel, hummus, tabbouli, and more. The platters are big and are a lot of food for an okay price. A pretty small place but they have a lot on the menu, and it's better than it looks to be honest. It's not pretty from the outside but it's clean inside. There's the counter to order at, and there's just a few tables. Most people call in orders and get it to go. We were already there so we ate there. It's about $14 for the platters. These are big and come with lots of stuff. I got the Falafel Plate. This comes with hummus, rice, and salad. Good falafel. These were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Ones like these are best. Then I used the pitas to make sandwiches out of these. Convenient place after getting off the shuttle a few blocks from here. It's pretty quick and simple. There's great choices like the falafel for vegans and vegetarians.“
“The good:I had a red rooibos tea latte, chocolate chip brioche muffin and a custard cream and strawberry croissant from here for my birthday breakfast. The latte was great and wasn't watery nor too sweet. The custard cream was eggy and delicious. I liked that the tea was caffeine free because I'm nursing and trying to avoid caffeine. My toddler enjoyed the brioche muffin. They have so many delicious pastries to choose from. The croissant was flaky and the cream inside wasn't too thick or runny. The powdered sugar on top made it aesthetically pleasing. The bad:The brioche was just okay. It was a little confusing how it looks like a mini muffin with the texture of bread. They have something called a croissant cube that I'd love to try next time. The interesting:Rooibos tea's packed with antioxidants and is supposedly pretty healthy!“
“I wanted to leave a review to let you know that the latte I ordered from you was quite sweet. However, I must say that the service recommendations I received from your staff were excellent and my overall experience was definitely worth four stars. Keep up the great work!“
“(Translated by Google) Crepes truck run by French people. Great location on weekends. Excellent pancakes. I highly recommend! (Original) Camion de crêpes tenu par des français. Super emplacement le we. Excellentes crêpes. Je recommande chaudement !“
“Their lattes are really good and have tried their breakfast selection on a separate occasion with my friend. It was good as well but price point is a little high for what it is so I will only come here for a special treat. Customer service here has never been disappointing. Everyone is friendly and has checked in on me while waiting. The space is clean and has plenty of seating so I never had an issue whenever I came here.“
“I was trying to place an online order. However, since I was in the area, I walked in myself. Nothing Bundt Cakes is nestled in a corner plaza. small parking area. However, I had no issue. I walked in and immediately received help. I needed more than a few minutes to decide what I was actually going to choose.Wow, this can be dangerous! they have a Reese's Peanut Butter bunt cake {rolling eyes} I just ordered all 6 that were available. I need someone to help me stop, lol. It is most definitely easy to buy with our eyes. Especially it being Valentine's Day.Actually, I'm here to get something for my neighbor she has been such a sweetheart, there was a cute 2 pack bundts together, ready for a gift chocolate chip, and lemon was in that there are several flavors for every palette you can not go wrong.!One thing I I ordered 3 RCP Assorted Buntinis at $88.00 those specifically with the stakes displaying true love, hug me, and whatnot with Maya specifically So after I got home, I realized they did not have them. So since I did not get to see in the box as everything came back packed.Next time, I will look inside. Save me the time and any errors occurring. I was not charged for them as they were an add on of 8.00 I was informed after I phoned even tho they were requested.“
“Owner and staff are super nice and the goods are delicious! My favorites are her ham and cheese on baguette, all the flaky, creamy, sweet, fruit, indulgent desserts and the mocha chocolate gf cookie! Will continue to come for the baked goodies and warm vibe.“
“The good:I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! I tried an ice cream sandwich here and thought it was enjoyable. It's interesting how you can get two different types of cookies for the sandwich. The location is prime because it's located right off Hermosa Beach pier. It's a great stop to get dessert that you can enjoy along the beach. For my cookies I got cookies and cream (Oreo cheesecake flavored) and cookie of the month (I cannot recall what flavor this was). I got blackberry crumble as the ice cream. They have vegan ice cream options. The flavors are mostly classic. You can add toppings and get your cookies hot pressed. The bad:The cookie was smaller than I expected and the sandwich didn't hold its shape. You don't eat it like an ice cream cookie sandwich. Instead, they serve it on a paper plate with a spoon. It's pricey. The interesting:They have locations throughout the US. You can order in advance online.“
“Best meal I've had in years. Every once in a while you stumble upon a place like this. This hits my sweet spot for a restaurant. Nothing pretentious or fancy for no reason. Just super high quality food, prepared with care and creativity. Every dish we had was excellent. Just the right balance of flavors and textures: not too salty, sweet, or strong. Everything cooked to perfection - fried mushrooms were just cooked enough on the inside but not overcooked, and perfectly crisp on the outside. The kabocha squash was the perfect texture. We loved the chunky cut cucumber dish, unique! Lobster miso ramen was so delicious and creative! Who has ever heard of that? So much I want to learn from this chef. Even the plain brown rice was perfectly prepared. You can taste the quality in the ingredients, probably local and organic. Service was perfect, just attentive enough without ever interrupting. Top 3 most memorable meals I've ever had. I get the sense the chef here could have Michelin stars if they wanted that, but have opted for a less stressful and pretentious operation. I'm so glad they chose this path. Truly fantastic experience. Had a wonderful date with my girlfriend!Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten free, 0 reaction.“
“I stumbled upon this bakery because I was tired of donuts and wanted something different. The Lady at the counter was very nice and answered my questions. I had the mocha croissant, the Madeline and apricot and strawberry little jam containers. The croissant comes pretty close to the ones in France. The croissant was very flaky and tasty. I’m glad I stumbled across it and it brings back memories of France.“
“At Le Pain Quotidien on Manhattan beach as you walk in the outside and inside both have a very presentable atmosphere with an old look, almost taking you to France ?? . Once you get to a table the staff are very nice checking up on you consistently . The star of this restaurant is the cheese ? and the ? , they have an amazing sourdough baguette and decadent cheese. For drinks the homemade lemonade ?is incredible with a mix of orange juice and lemonade. The Mediterranean Caesar Salad ? is good option however parts of it are left out. The only small problem of the restaurant is that when I was inside at times there was a few fruit flies swarming the food.Recommend Dishes and DrinksSourdough Bread with a side of Feta cheeseThe Mediterranean Caesar saladHomemade Lemonade“
“Had a fantastic time at Coyote Cantina! The drinks were just perfect - strong and delicious. The Steak Tidbits and Blackened Chicken Enchiladas were both standout dishes. Plus, Carl, the owner, was incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience even more special. A cozy spot I'd recommend to “
“This is my FAVORITE smoothie bowl place in California. Saying that they are perfect is an understatement. Their fruit is beyond fresh, juicy, and sweet. Every time I visit Manhattan Beach, Paradise Bowls is a must-stop location for my friends and I. (As seen in the pictures below I've gone 3+ times and that shows how good they are). My favorite bowl here is the Peach Bum bowl, its ingredients are super well-curated and the fruits complement each other perfectly. The menu is pretty extensive and goes beyond just smoothie bowls. The prices are pretty affordable and typical for a smoothie bowl, around $10 for a size small. My photos feature the small size and there is still a pretty big portion despite its "small" labeling. The service is good, with staff being efficient. The bowls came out pretty quickly! The ambiance of the store is super cute, beachy, and has a surf shack vibe to it, perfect for the beach! The views right next to the store are extremely gorgeous featuring the Manhattan Beach coastline. This store is located close to the sand, where you can bring your bowls to picnic right next to the Pacific waves.“
“Predictably solid fare at a large format restaurant. My interaction was at the bar and felt well taken care of. Salmon tacos were my budget choice at $20 and it was delicious. Wish they had more feast beer choices.Parking: Professional valet and a big garage very close.“
“Solid Italian Resturant in South Bay. Tried the Cesar salad, octopus and beef carpaccio for appetitser- have to vote the octopus as the best tender but chewy and grilled to perfection. The carpaccio is good but didn’t standout. The ceasar salad was bit disappointing. We also tried the homemade strozzapreti and tagliolini - both were delicious and taste authentic. Pasta was not overcooked and had a good chewy texture to it. Truffle pizza also outstanding.Portion size small for the price but it is a solid place to check out“
“A coworker brought some mamon with cheese pastries and they were delicious! The sponge cake was nice and soft, and perfectly sweetened (not too sweet). The cheese added a nice savory contrast to the cake. I definitely want to try their other breads and pastries!“
“Convenient underground parking; seated earlier than our reservation time. Service was attentive. Nice selection of wine, beer and cocktails. Very tasty appetizer of pita bread with greek yogurt mixed with cucumber and greek oil. Wonderful salad with watermelon, tomatoes and vinaigrette. Vegetarian plate and Moma Petro's lamb meatballs were delicious! Excellent quality of food.“
“The pasta at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! The noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The service was also top-notch and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a tasty pasta meal.“
