“This place is great! It's hard to find good Central American bakeries but praise and glory to God for this one! They have different Guatemalan and Salvadorian tamales. My favorite are the Guatemalan pork tamales. Not everyone makes them right but they're delicious at this bakery. I also had their corn atole which is a hot drink and it wasn't too sweet (something most places get wrong!). Their assortment of bread (pan dulce) is AMAZING!!! It's always fresh and so yummy. I haven't had anything that isn't tasty, this bakery is awesome!“

“This spot has been open for a while and I never tried it until today. I recently went to Paris and I loved the bakeries there so I decided to try this bakery which is very close to my house. It was really good. I chose the ham and cheese croissant. It was fresh and delicious. The coffee was good too. I will be back here soon. I plan to become a regular customer weekly.“
“I pre ordered from kemlahcakes for valentine day to surprise my husband. Due to my leg surgery I am not able to anything for him this time just staying indoors. So ordered this customized cake with mocha flavor. This is beautiful and yummy cake. My husband loved it and I got surprised too as this looks exactly like I mentioned while ordered. The lady who took cake of orders and made this cake she is very sweet person I appreciate her for the way she is handling a customer very quick response. We might be their permanent customers now ????. They deliver to your house too. I am happy that I found KemlahCakes. ❤️“

“Great Donuts and good service. The man is nicer than the lady, she sort of rushes you to pick which Donuts you want and acts like you're irritating her..Their donuts are actually better than Randy's which everyone makes a big deal about when the donuts are really just okay..King donuts are always fresh and tasty.. I wish they would take more care to create signs that were written in proper English though.. For example; they have one sign that says Buniness when it's supposed to Business.... and there are multiple other that are written in fractured English..“

“PRO TIP: go to Costco and get $100 DoorDash gift cards at 20% off, then use DoorDash pickup to order ahead at Jyan Isaac for no additional fee. Since you will end up spending $50-$200 here if you’re in Santa Monica for any amount of time, the savings are nice. Works out to one free full bagel gravlax with the works for every $100.“

“My first Crème Brûlée doughnut was in Seoul Dunkin. I was not sure I'd ever taste one in US. Visiting from Chicago, I had to come here. I was happy to taste my fav doughnut again.
Small Korean bakery, delicious bakery items. I ordered classic and matcha Crème Brûlée. Wow.
Located inside Rodeo plaza!
Cute places to sit.“

“Excellent coffee drinks, food and desserts. The atmosphere is exactly what we were looking for. Clean and inviting with indoor and outdoor seating. My Aunt is not a coffee connoisseur and she ordered a coffee drink that was not really what she should of ordered. The lady working here asked her how she likes her coffee and remade one for free that was exactly what my Aunt really wanted. Customer service that goes above and beyond. A++ in every facet!“

“I love this pastry shop. The staff are very friendly and helped me decide what to order. I chose the krinkle and the raspberry pastry, and both were outstanding, with the raspberry pastry with a slight edge.
Definitely coming back here anytime I'm in the area.“

“We stopped in to try their Kouign Amann. It was flaky, buttery, and had a nice carmel on the bottom. I understand why its considered one of the best in LA. We also got a quiche Lorraine. Unfortunately, even after 5-10 minutes back in the oven it was still ice cold. We each had a bite and threw the rest out. We have had much better elsewhere. They had a line out the door, the whole first 30 minutes they were open. They had 2 small tables inside and one outside.“

“Went here with a friend and was blown away (sounds cliche!) by the level of service I got from a place I wasn't destined to spend more than $10 at. The honestly polite cashier (manager, perhaps?) and her knowledge of all of the various cookies, their ingredients, and other particulars, made my day. Reminded me of how service used to be years ago. The cookies were very good, too, as were the samples I was given. I'd love to come back here when I'm in the area.
Dietary restrictions: Very good assortment of gluten-free cookies, along with conventional ones.“

“Can’t stop eating them!
Honestly, I didn’t expect them to be this good. Each cookie has its own vibe — some nutty, some soft and buttery, all super fresh. And the spot where I got them? Super clean and neat, which I really appreciate. You can tell they put love into everything. I’ve already recommended them to a couple friends!“

“Do you know what a vegan pastry wasteland the Westside of LA (and, you know, the earth) is, especially Culver City? If you have a sense of it, then you know this is a crazy amazing thing, this delicious pastry shop with more vegan options than I've seen in a looong time in LA. "Vegan breakfast sandwich". . . this was an impossibility in Culver City until now and it's tasty and not expensive here. Vegan almond and chocolate croissants; they got 'em. Vegan oreo cake slices; they got 'em. Please never close. Please never close. PS: Also 5 min walk to/from Hello Sunshine Kitchen . . . amazing!“

“Excellent place for all bakery products. This always a queue, soliciting the lovely Brazil. I loved the big Sangki bread and the Banana Bread. The hummus and yoghurt dip, what's awesome? It's her secret recipe for over the years. I heard conversations where the third generation had come to buy from the bakery. It is an excellent place to have your morning breakfast and start the day with an excellent taste combined with health. Reasonable prices great value for money“

“What a treasure! Authentic French pastry delights. Try the savory ones — especially the Curry Ground Beef. Enjoy a stroll around the beachside Riviera Village corner of Redondo Beach, then reward yourself with homemade treats from this family run bakery. “I recently dined at Milo & Olive and was truly impressed with the experience. Every dish I tried was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The seasonal menu offered a great variety, and you can really taste the quality in each bite. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back!“

“I ask for their water/ocean “decoration” (it’s just the whipped cream frosting). It’s perfect because we put our own decorations at home. The cake is perfection. The strawberry shortcake is perfection. The chocolate one is rich. Whipped cream frosting is absolutely perfect.
Just give yourself enough time to pick up your order because it gets packed so you can be waiting for a while. Even if it’s just a pick up.“

“I was excited to come here based on reviews and environment. It looked so cute inside and I was so happy to try it. I ordered a cold brew, but it was extremely watered down, so that was disappointing. The woman who took my order at the counter was not friendly at all, which really ruined the experience for me. It’s almost like I had no right to be there. I didn’t order any food, but the open faced bagels looked really good, so I gave the food 5 stars as a benefit of the doubt.
But I’m not sure I’ll come back based on the sour mood of the cashier.“

“This is the absolute go to bakery. While it was the sign that says ‘One of LA’s Top Cookie Destinations’ that brought me in, it was the warm welcoming service and the incredible quality and care that goes into every single item that keeps us coming back. The breads are above and beyond anything I’ve experienced. The sour dough and garlic and olive oil loafs are our family favorites. We can’t not have a loaf going in the house at all times. Highest recommendation!“

“I have been to the 2 Little Tokyo locations and this one is definitely the winner! there’s a huge variety of pastries and things to eat for a quick bite (you might probably have to eat it standing or elsewhere during the weekends since it gets pretty packed and there’s just 3 tables!) but the steamed buns were good!, the matcha mochi wasn’t too sweet so it was perfect, the almond croissant was fine but their specialty is definitely on other pastries! will definitely come back again to try more stuff.“

“Mochi donuts are amazing here! Fair variety, fast service, the display is high so it's easy to browse without squatting or bending over (a huge plus for me)!
Parking can be rediculous as it's mall parking, best to NOT park where Google tells you to (in front of the main entrance to PF Chang's and Lazy Dog) and go over to the side of the building by the entrance to the Mitsuwa Food Court for easiest access!
My family was so excited to try mochi donuts as they'd never had them! These did not disappoint!!!!“

“Exactly what you'd expect from a Marie Callendars diner. Had the chicken pot pie and it was flaky, though a bit watery. The salad and pie were quite tasty when paired with the pot pie. Could become a regular brunch spot as it appeared already to be for many there.“

“got a couple of cookies from crumbl. the one with the frosting and chocolate chips on top was super soft and had a nice balance of sweetness. the other cookie, with a simple but great flavor, was equally good. both were fresh and perfectly packed. if you’re into cookies with a rich, indulgent taste, definitely give these a try.“
