“Hidden shopping center with a hidden Gem. Inside is pretty spacious. Was not busy when we went. They have Chinese food option and Mongolian as well. Went for the build your own Mongolian bowl. You’re charged by the pound and for a reasonable price. You get to choose your sauces which is good. Food tasted fresh and flavorful. Definitely worth the drive. Looking forward to come try there Chinese food next time“

“Unlike the L & L on Century Blvd, this restaurant serves hot food. It was so quiet and peaceful. I truly enjoyed my meal. A pro is you get your bang for your buck for a reasonable price. “Fast casual Hawaiian spot across the Lowe’s complex. Came here for dinner with my family and got two orders of the BBQ mix plates which come with kalbi, chicken, and beef. The mac salad was well mixed and they give a generous amount of rice. The meats were a teeny bit too salty but were still good. Two plates between the four of us were a good amount of food. Credit cards accepted. You order first and pay at the counter before receiving your food. There’s indoor seating available and you can also get takeout. You can call ahead to order as well. Parking lot available.“

“Came here today for lunch and it was my 1st time and it was so good. I had brisket and a side of beans and drink for $40 the flavor was great and the beans were perfect. I had the strawberry kiwi lemonade and that was super good too. The bbq sauce was the cherry on top. Overall great experience. The young man that was working there alone was nice and attentive. Very home style feeling. I will absolutely be back with my foodie dad and tell others about this place.“

“I loved this place! You get a LOT of yummy food for a good price (especially for California). The Britt Bowl (brisket, pulled pork, and kielbasa) is huge - definitely ask for a to-go container. I wish they had a liquor license, but I don't think I had room for beer after all that meat!“

“The food is fire! The service is mediocre, and the atmosphere is trash (literally). There was a city trash can right outside the restaurant door overfilled with garage and reeking of piss. As for inside of the restaurant, it is very small and crammed. You’re almost standing on top of other people as you wait in line to order or wait for your food to be ready.

As for the food… wow!! 10 out of 10. I ordered the Koren fried chicken (sweet & spicy) and a side of steamed rice. I cannot wait to go back and order this again. I killed the entire meal and did not leave anything behind. My wife ordered the Spicy Mayo Chicken bowl and the Fried Chicken Dumplings. The portion size was huge! She could not finish it. The spicy sauce was too spicy and overpowered the flavor of the chicken, rice, and veggies. Rating this bowl a 4 out of 10 on the spicy overkill.

The prices here are AMAZING! We only spent $25 for our food, drove to Manhattan beach, and enjoyed it while watching the sunset. Our food was still hot after the 35 min drive.“

(There were not a lot of rib bones, but a lot of the bottom portion of the spare ribs, but I did not mind because it was a generous serving) The barbecue sauce was outstanding and all of the side dishes were delicious. They were running a two for one on some of the sides so I got a ton of food.“

“Got the chance to finally get some APL bbq out in Venice. Perfect weather, chill outdoor venue, 4 huge smokers out back, and a long line of patrons excited to get some bbq. What an amazing way to enjoy a nice weekend. The bbq was awesome. Tender, smoky, and tasty. We got to try these items.

Lamb rack - very tender not gamey at all.
Peking Duck - came with a very interesting fun blackberry sauce. Taste foie gras like yums.
Crispy Pork Belly - super crunchy and basically melts in your mouth ooooweee! Favorite bite of the day.
Short ribs - super beefy and tender
Pork ribs - Smokey and tender
Corn bread - soft, crumbly, and sweet. Yums had like 3 pieces.
Baguette - crispy crust, soft airy interior with a nice chew (reminds me of sour dough)

Paired the bbq with some beer and cocktails. Super fun dining experience. So close to the beach so we got to check that out as well.

There is a decent amount of banchan and the Pigya tasting menu is fantastic. Plenty of meat included in the servings. Aside from meat, it includes a steamed egg, kimchi fried rice, and hangover ramen. It got a bit smokey but the fans were strong and helpful. My friend tried the soju cocktail which was pretty sweet and not that strong. Tasty though! Definitely recommend grabbing lunch or dinner here because the food was great quality.
